De host is erg lief en behulpzaam. Je mag in de keuken koken en in de kamer TV kijken. Het huis is gezellig en er is een leuke kat. Er was niks dat niet kon! Vanuit de keuken zie je de roodbruine vissershuisjes. De locatie is goed. Alles is op loopafstand.

First of all, the location of the property is fantastic. I've traveled to dozens of countries and stayed in many different locations, but there have been rare moments when I felt completely at home, and this was one of them. The host is very helpful and does everything they can to make you comfortable. If you haven't decided yet, I think you shouldn't hesitate any longer. My rating is 10 out of 10.

Posizione ottima. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Letto piccolo per due persone, ma ci è stata offerta un'altra camera con un secondo letto.

Possibilità di usare la cucina e presenza di due bagni. La camera ha tutto quello che serve. Ambienti puliti. Posizione ottima

Lene est une hôte extrêmement chaleureuse et accueillante. Sa maison est très bien équipée, tout est à disposition des occupants. On se sent comme chez soi. La décoration hétéroclite raconte une vie de voyage, ouverte sur les autres. C'est un vrai plaisir de pouvoir profiter des environs dans ce petit cocon de gentillesse et d'attention.

Lene was by far the best hostess we had on our trip here! She was a treasure trove of good advice about locations, activities etc. and always willing to help us. We loved the big living room, it was great for relaxing and drinking a coffee when it was raining. The rooms were clean and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking.

Lit de 1 place et demie pour un couple ,c’est bon peu juste et le matelas n'était pas très confortable. La salle de bain et WC commune n'étaient pas très propres La chambre était minuscule

A place with great character in an excellent location. The host really cares about Lofoten and making sure that her guests have a good experience. If you want something different from the standard hotel experience, this is the place to go. Lene is great.

Comfortable good sized bed and welcoming host. Thank you Lene for the great travel tips, not just for Svolvaer but also for the Lofoten Islands (which we loved). We appreciated your hospitality. Sharing bathroom facilities with another couple was not a problem.

Lene, was a great host that undestands what travellers need. She describes herself as the "Crazy Aunt". She's very generous, and even asked if she could cook dinner for me on the first night as I was arriving at about dinner time. We shared dinner for 2 nights in a row and I got to try some very traditional dishes of the area, Whale and Salmon..... Yum....... Great kitchen and home, Boho style of decorations, more than unique..... Best value in this expensive town for accomodation, and in the best location in town for a Non Hotel. Pretty much on the water front on the edge of the new area, with the hotels......

The location is excellent , just a short 5-10 minute walk to the bus stop and town center. The house has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view of the harbor from the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. What made the stay truly special was Lene the host. She knows so much about Lofoten! She is incredibly warm and welcoming, and even went out of her way to cook delicious fishcakes for me! It felt like staying at a friend's home.

There was an unpleasant smell on the first floor which seems to be permanent. The room was cold, and a heater is required to be on at all times, which is not the safest option during the night.

J'ai séjourné 2 nuits chez Lene et elle est formidable. Elle sait être disponible et à l'écoute. Elle est très accueillante et sa maison est très bien équipée pour cuisiner ou passer un bon moment face à une superbe vue sur le port. J'ai très bien dormi, au calme. Good location, but off the beaten path. The hostess is spectacularly kind, and comes with all sorts of recommendations for and knowledge of Svolvær and Lofoten. Most comfortable bed in Norway!

The house is located closed to the main harbour, so easy to walk by. Helena is really kind and nice, having good talks with her even if I was not staying longer!

Casa muito bonita, bem decorada e toda equipada. A sala tem uma vista incrível. A senhoria muito simpática e preocupada com o nosso bem estar. Mesmo a porta de casa consegui ver auroras em todos os dias.

Sweet warm room. Close to the port, it was beautiful to walk along port after sun set 3pm.

地點離市中心稍微遠一些些（不是近到就在隔壁或對街的那種），但仍是走路就可以到的距離，不是問題！

Che dire, ospitalità e gentilezza al primo posto. Camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Il soggiorno è al piano superiore e la vista dalla finestra è magica. Lene ci ha accolto nella sua casa e ci ha "coccolati". Posto del cuore. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente quando avremo occasione di ritornare alle Lofoten. Grazie Lene!

Location was good, within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the harbor, bus stop, and main square. Easy access to lots of delicious food options. The host was very kind, caring, and helpful and made me feel right at home and well-taken care of!

Lene ist eine sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir durften am Fischsuppenessen teilnehmen. Die Bäder und Zimmer sind sauber und man hat alles was gebraucht. Perfekt zum Zentrum in Svolvær gelegen.

Die Matratze war etwas weich, sonst alles top!

Where to start! This is truly a very special place to stay. A real home from home. Lena takes such care of her guests and clearly gets great pleasure from doing so. She is a great source of information and nothing is too much trouble. She has made me reevaluate my future bookings wherever they may be. Staying in someone’s home is truly a magical experience 😁

Lene is a great guest, I felt at home immediately. The house is very practical with everything you need to be comfortable. The location is great as well. I really recommend it !

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, right next to the harbour & I had a view of the harbour from my room (see photo). The owner Lene is a wonderful lady & went above & beyond to ensure that I felt at home & got the most out of my stay. She suggested a ferry trip (free ferry) to Skrova Island & local hikes.

The landlady was lovely and welcoming, and gave useful tips on where to go on lofoten. All the facilities were available including kitchen and lounge. Great location 10 mins walk from the port, with views of harbour.

This is the most funkiest place, well located in the centre of town, we walked everywhere. The host, Lene, is the most wonderful, charming, helpful, and knowledgeable host we have encountered. She makes a difference. Her house is beautiful and she shares it with grace and unique charm. Great coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen. Very good bed. This place offers terrific views from the common relaxation area. Asking Lena for tips is a must.

The host is the warmest person I have ever met. She truly made my time in Norway memorable. She taught me how to prepare a traditional nordic fish meal and setup the entire meal for me, complete with dessert and wine. Left me to enjoy it with a view and music that she played in the background. She truly goes the extra mile with her hospitality. The house has a lovely view and is perfectly situated, walking distance from the center.

Truly felt like having a home and family in Svolvaer!

Contact to the host was very easy and very kind. She couldn't be present, but had provided everything for us. The house is really charming, and it was a great comfort that we could use the kitchen and sit at the kitchen table with a wonderful view across the harbour.

I reached Svolvear in a late time I felt warm because of Lene She’s so nice and caring just like the house she decorated. Warm, creative, feels like home, she even prepared a dinner for me and other guest!
