Las vistas desde el hotel son preciosas y el personal es muy atento. Se agradece el detalle del personas cada mañana en el desayuno y que puedas pedir desde la habitación la comida del restaurante me parece una gran idea.

El desayuno es muy limitado, solo hay para elegir cinco platos y tres bebidas. La ubicación del hotel está lejos del centro, las habitaciones son poco funcionales. Para apagar la luz, tenías que ir a la otra punta de la habitación, enchufes limitados, en el baño no había, y a la salida del baño había un escalón bastante peligroso. Jardines muy descuidados. A la llegada al hotel te dan demasiada información de todos los servicios que ofrecen y es información que pierdes seria mejor dar la justa y tener esa info en la habitación para poder consultarla tranquilamente.

The children enjoyed the pool after a long day out. The rooms/beds were big and comfortable. The owner and staff were all accommodating and very nice.

Wonderful hotel! Beautifully located on the stunning island of Camiguin. Nice, spacious, and well-equipped rooms with really large and comfortable beds, and an incredible ocean view from the balcony. Delicious breakfast and a great swimming pool. However, probably the biggest advantage of this amazing place is the staff and owners — every single person was warm, polite, and helpful. The owner is extremely kind and has an adorable dog, and Mrs. Chai, the hotel manager, is truly an exceptional person. She responds immediately to every question, helps solve any problem, and is incredibly friendly, caring and supportive. There is also an option to rent a car, which is a fantastic way to explore the beauty of the island more easily. I highly recommend this place and hope I will have the opportunity to come back.

The staff are amazing! They are so helpful and kind. The owners are always attentive and thoughtful. The food was delicious always, especially the takeaway picnics. We could rent cars, bikes or arrange transport there around the island. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The resident dog mamba is the cutest and I was very fortunate to spend my 28th birthday there where I was celebrated by everyone and got flowers! Really a great hotel that operates so smoothly and they think of everything for a great stay. Thank you Melinda and Anton!!

I wish the there was better sound proofing as we had kids on our floor that would slam doors early morning. Sometimes we saw the staff running which felt impacted the relaxed vibe of the place but other than that nothing!

The breakfast plate would’ve been better if the garlic was stir fried with a rice. The chef just sprinkled little bit of minced garlic on top of the rice. It would’ve been an authentic Filipino Garlic Fried Rice.

Ich habe noch nie so freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal erlebt! Die Mitarbeiter haben sich sogar die Zeit genommen, mir das Rollerfahren beizubringen. Man merkt, dass hier alles perfekt läuft, da die Manager selbst präsent sind und alles im Blick behalten. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut und die gesamte Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein absolutes Highlight auf Camiguin!

The stay at Txaleta de Camiguin desde 2024 was quite nice. I can't fully understand the rave reviews. The food is good, but there are a few small things missing in the room (TV, toothbrush cup, etc.). There are few additional services like laundry or excursions. We were accommodated in a double room, which was rather small and had no balcony.

I love the location, facilities and the friendly staffs! The view from our room is so giving! ☺️

Unser Aufenthalt auf Camiguin war einfach wunderschön! Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, liebevoll gepflegt und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch das Frühstück war jeden Morgen richtig lecker und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet – ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an die Managerin Chai. Sie ist wirklich die süßeste und herzlichste Gastgeberin! Mit ihrer freundlichen Art hat sie unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns jederzeit willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Man merkt hier wirklich, dass Gastfreundschaft von Herzen kommt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We adored our stay and we have even extended our stay. Everything was perfect. From the accommodation to the food. The staff is always trying to help you in any situation. And if you just want to relax, the pool place is perfect for this

Sehr herzlich und mit Charme eingerichtet. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie empfahlen uns Orte zum Schnorcheln und halfen bei Transfers. Die Unterkunft ist super ruhig gelegen und mit dem Scooter einfach zu erreichen.

The shower doesn’t have a steady hot temperature as it only lasts 5-10 seconds every after 5 minutes

From the instant we sat fot on Camiguin, the pure welcome and hospitality from the owners (Melinda and Anton) was a genuine treat. The food was a great, and if you like, you can either sit alone or join in what I almost would call a family dinner. They are trying out new dishes, so don´t be afraid to ask for things outside the menu. The fusion ceviche was awesome! Rooms are clean and they will fix anything that you ask for, or bring you to where you want to go. Don’t be afraid to ask. The location has no beach, but they have a pool, and the morning view from the restaurant has a great ocean view. It’s about 10 mins drive outside the city center but if you are going to Camiguin, that’s not what you are after anyways. We stayed in one of the glamping domes and it had all the amenities you need. It’s fairly quiet there so we had no problems sleeping at night. With a hand on my heart, one of the best hotel stays ever.

Идея прогревать воду солнечным светом интересна, но не всегда работает как надо. Трудно отрегулировать температуру воды в кране, поэтому я бы рекомендовал все же поставить центральный бойлер. Сделайте также знак направления движения на выезде из отеля. Приехав в него вечером и выезжая первый раз утром, можно попасть на встречную полосу движения. Хозяева очень милы, но чувствуется, что они немного на нервах из за нового бизнеса. Расслабьтесь и отпустите ситуацию. Все получится

I enjoyed the glamping situation overlooking the sea. I appreciated the thoughtful details, comfort of air conditioning, and modern design inside the tent. I had my first night of great sleep because the bed and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The entire team at the resort were professional, service oriented, respectful, and friendly at the same time. I was told that a scooter was not available, but they were able to get one so I was able to visit Mantigue Island, grab some dinner, and buy some souvenirs in town. The manager was available on Whatsapp which made communication easy if I needed any assistance.

I love the complimentary filtered water (to avoid plastic use) in the tent, but wrote a note to let the team know that it was not drinkable and had a "funky" taste. I had to buy a large bottle of water in town. I didn't see instructions on how to use the safe so I brought my valuables (such as my passport) with me instead of leaving it in the tent.

We stayed 5 days in a villa on the leftmost side of the property, next to big trees and with a fantastic view of the sea. The staff are nice and always ready to help.

Non-guests of the property can dine in the area where we were. Some of them took photos while we are inside the villa. There is no fridge in the room so you have to always ask the staff if you want cold drinking water. The food is relatively expensive.

What an absolute gem of a place. Stop reading reviews and just book this place! I have to admit, I was skeptical of all the rest reviews and though, I'm sure it's great but I didn't really expect much. But everything exceeded our expectations. The staff and the owners are so friendly, amazing, helpful, responsive and a joy to be around. And let me tell you about the FOOD. WOW! We ate outside of the resort once and we fully regret that decision. The food, all made by the owners, was FANTASTIC. Even my parents, who are always skeptical about food we eat outside of what they can cook at home, were super impressed and enjoyed every meal. We even ordered food to go for our excursions through the island and the packaging was so thoughtful. Everything about this place is thoughtful. The views are also absolutely amazing. I rarely/never want to or think to repeat a booking. But I absolutely want to come back to Txaleta. I am excited for their expansion plans and hope to one day come back and enjoy all that they've built. We are very excited for them and wish them great success! Now stop reading and book this place already!

Wish we stayed longer!

Everything was exceptional! The place is organized and clean, the tent is spacious and with so many details to make you feel welcomed and taken care! The owners and all the staff are lovely, and the food was also super good. It was seriously one of the best places we stayed.

The location! Txaleta is perched up above the eastern coastline of the island. There are beautiful sea views all day, long starting with spectacular sunrises.

The location - perched atop a hill over looking the see. The view is stunning. Fresh air - Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms are spacious and clean not to mention that the property is relatively new (having just opened to the public in Oct 2024) Staff - Hospitality is top notch. Unlike big hotels where you have to talk to their staff for their attention, Txaleta de Camiguin staffs were ever present for all of our needs eg hot water, contact numbers of vehicle rentals, and beyond (bought food from Jollibee which 8-9km away).

A minor inconvenience is access to public transport. You cant just summon a grab or taxi from your location there. But easily mitigated by renting a scooter or a car. Just ask their ever helpful staff for contacts.

Tout, Melit et Antonio sont des hôtes exceptionnels, aidés de Chai, vous serez tous les jours aux petits soins. Vous vous y sentirez comme à la maison.

The resort is very beautifull with a stunning vue, the staff and service were exceptional.

I stayed in the domes with the plastic glass over the sea and in the pictures on booking.com the view seemed perfectly visible from the inside. I was quite disappointed that for the whole length of the stay the windows were blurried from the inside and we were not able to see through. The staff mentioned it was due to the AC and we had to turn it off to have a good view. Therefore we slept all night without AC in the heat just to wake up and enjoy the view, but at our surpirise in the morning the glass was still fully blurried and we could not enjoy the view. It was not at all What expected based on the pictures shown and also, when we arrived at the property it was already blurried so nothing we created ourself as guests. Quite disappointing from this aspect because the price was high compared to the other hotel, and I was ready to pay it because we wanted to enjoy the view and sunrise from the bed, something that unfortunately we were absolutely not able to do. If it would have been specified that it was not see through I would have booked a different place which would have been as charming and probably less than half the price. Sad story

What can I say? The place was more than excellent. I usually don't give reviews BUT I couldn't let this one pass me by without acknowledging all the plus factors of Txaleta! The place: Even though, the place still had some ongoing constructions these did not even caused a bit of a negativity in my mind. The place was superb, with an adorable panoramic view of vitamin sea. What else can one ask for? Peaceful and good for people who wanted serenity ( nature tripping ). Glamping is one great experience. Fantasy fulfilled :) fully airconditioned, clean, elegant, tranquil space with a private bath and restroom to go with it. The food: Delicioso... filled with a twist of tasteful culinary presentation. Simply mouth watering and gloriously gastronomic. Prices were reasonable. The ates ( esp. Chai ): We were super pampered. Everyone were so welcoming and so eager to fulfill every wants and wishes we needed. We felt like family :) Ma'am Milet and Sir Anton: No ifs, no buts... they're the best hosts one can come across with. They were a great couple who made us feel so genuinely welcomed not only as their guests but as if we are their old, close friends. Dear friends indeed. They always granted every wish we needed. Actually, we felt so spoiled. Lucky and thankful to have met new friends as they are. Let me express my gratitude and thanks to the overflowing lansones :) All in all, will I recommend Txaleta to my friends and everyone? YES, of course. More than a 100 percent!! We'll surely be back and stay here again when we come back to Camiguin. Looking forward to the up coming amenities that they are preparing for the future. Thanks Txaleta. peaceful, not touristy and with uninterrupted panoramic view of the sea at one's every waking hour. feels like communing with nature in a fashionable way hahaha because you sleep on a queen size bed in an airconditioned dome with built-in toilet and bath. food is great.

I like everything and a work in progress, hope to experience the forthcoming infinity fool and restaurant.

This was my second stay at Txaleta this month. The first time was with my wife and kids — my wife and I slept in a villa and the kids each took a dome. This time I was visiting solo so I booked a dome to see what that experience is like. Both room types are brand new, well designed, appointed, and constructed. Both have full electricity, great AC, full baths with walk-in showers and tankless water heaters. Even the domes have concrete interior walls, porcelain tile walls and floors, and privacy curtains. And both types provide access to almost endless community areas for lounging, gazing, exercising, eating, and working (free WiFi). The service is 5-star, hands down. With a worker-to-guest ratio that reflects their focus on tending to every need, I never had to track someone down — everything was anticipated. After the first night of rain, I exited the dome for breakfast and found that an umbrella had been placed on a chair outside my door. When I walked to my private dome-side breakfast table, there was a rain jacket waiting for me. And when I was dropped off at the boat ramp for a quick coastal reconnaissance mission, I was sent me off with a fresh beach towel. And “dry bag” for my valuables. “Pampered” would be an understatement. Breakfast was included, was unique each morning and a menu was always discussed the evening prior. One day, I presented them with a fresh-baked loaf of sourdough from a local bakery. The next morning, I was presented with the most delicious breakfast tartine ever (sautéed mushrooms on sourdough, scrambled eggs on one slice and poached on the other. Herbs, veggies, and a brilliant side of gourmet mustard). I won’t necessarily advise you to stay at this resort every time you visit (I suppose a little variety is an option), but I can say without question that if you stay here first, you’ll be dry happy that you did. And ya, it will be hard to settle for any other place afterwards.
