Sri White Villa Airport Boutique Hotel

Very friendly owner and staff, they received us late at night and made us dinner at 11 pm. Also made us breakfast early before our long road trip to Arugam Bay.

I stayed for one night only before an earley flight the next day. Room was ok, confortable bed, silent air conditioning. The hotel was very close to the airport and I could park my car inside de hotel.

The only employee on duty did not speak any English. He also tryed to charge me more than what I have booked. Luckly I noticed that and was able to adjust the amount before paying, but I had to talk to the owner by phone to be able to do it.

What a wonderful experience this is not just accomodation this was an opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of a wonderful family in a serene location with beautiful gardens and a calming atmosphere. Chrishantha is also a very experienced and licences tour guide I recommend you utilise his services. I am already planning a return trip and can not fault a thing.

The place was beautiful, nice garden, the room was clean and it has AC and good breakfast.

I messaged the owner a week before our arrival and specifically asked if we could check in eariler because of our flight. He said that it was no problem (no extra charge) and that we can come eariler. When we got there at the agreed upon time, he wasn't there, we called him and he said that we can't check in, that we have to wait 4 hours. He was making excuses on the phone and was rude, and only when we said that we will go someplace else, he came. And then when we wanted to leave he said we have to pay 50% more because we checked in early - but he didn't say that when i messaged him! We payed the agreed price and he said to get out. Beside the owner, everything else was okay.

Everything is good. Mr. Crish is a very nice owner as he taken care of everything and ensured all are perfect. Look forward to visit again.

Accueil très sympathique et attentionné. Alors que notre avion avait atterri avec plusieurs heures de retard, nous avons qd même pu prendre le petit déjeuner à 10h. Petit hôtel niché dans la verdure, très propre et calme malgré sa grande proximité de l'aéroport. Idéal en arrivant ou en repartant de Colombo.

Fantastic host in Cris, couldn’t do enough to help us. The hotel is immaculately clean, very peaceful and easy access to the airport. We felt as if we were invited into a home. Breakfast was served in the lovely garden.

Stopped here go my first night in Sri Lanka as it was close to the airport and I’m so glad I did. Such a lovely place that you feel at home at. The breakfast was delicious and the people working there are so kind and very helpful! Would definitely recommend

Being a Hotelier in USA I find the Owner & his family are very cooperative and helpful, when i arrived that day it was their Srilanka New Year everything was close but he pick me up from the airport also take me around the City even all outside Restaurants were closed but he Served me lunch which his wife cooked, I give 10 out of 10

Fomos bem recebidos, como chegamos próximo  da hora do almoço,  almoçamos  no alojamento. Quando foi para pagar, foi cobrado uma taxa adicional de 10%, quer para a refeição  quer para o alojamento. Quando reservamos no booking o valor do alojamento era 32,18€ +3,54€ (IVA 11%)=36€. Ou seja o alojamento  ficaria por 36€= US$40,96.  Assim o alojamento ficou por 39,60€= US$45,54  e não  por 36€. Un grand merci pour l'accueil, cette première nuit au Sri Lanka a donné tout son sens à la suite de notre voyage! Je suis arrivée avec mes enfants, pensant d'abord me débrouiller seule, pourtant notre hôte a tout organisé pour nous, il nous a servit un très bon petit déjeuner avant de nous trouver un chauffeur qui nous a finalement accompagné pendant 10 jours! Merci pour tout car vraiment ce voyage n'aurait pas pu etre plus parfait! Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un transit avec l'aéroport tout en douceur! Merci pour tout

Vila blízko letiště, s krásnou zahradou, kde jste asi za 10 minut. Pan majitel zajistí dopravu i v noci. Velmi ochotný pan majitel, možnost domluvit i večeři. Pokoje velmi hezké, pohodlné postele, klimatizace. Koupelna čistá, teplá voda kdykoliv. Wifi funkční.

Very close to the airport. We had a decent size room with a gorgeous terrace. Staff very friendly. They prepared a complimentary dinner which was freshly prepared by the chef. I would recommend Sri White as a transport hotel or for a few days stay.

Highly recommended. It was a five minute drive from the airport and a wonderful little oasis after a long flight. Its clean and modern. . I can't speak highly enough of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like old friends right from the start I'll be happy to return next trip. Thank you Crish.

Personally I like a slightly softer bed but we really have no complaints.

A perfect stay if you’re looking for somewhere convenient and close to the airport. Our flight landed at midnight and Crish had a driver to collect us. Out room was clean and comfortable and In the morning there was a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast provided. Crish then he sorted a taxi to Kandy at a reasonable rate. Great communication and service provided. Would recommend 🙏

Prijs was veel te hoog voor wat je ervoor terug kreeg. Er kwamen extreem veel kosten bij voor vervoer naar vliegveld terwijl dit helemaal niet ver was. Het eten kosten ook best veel, het was wel lekker maar ook niet speciaal. En daar bovenop nog eens 10 procent waardoor we uiteindelijk plots 50% meer moesten betalen.

Near the airport, super clean, comfortable rooms, good sri lankan breakfast, friendly staff. Supermarket nearby. The only problem is that the water pump motor is audible in the room and it can work anytime.

Wow this was the most wonderful experience! Not only was the hotel very beautiful and clean, we were served a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast as if we were family. We were hosted with such warmth and generosity. After I left the hotel I received a text saying I had left my necklaces behind and Chris kindly held on the them until I could return to pick them up 10 days later. He allowed us to stay for a couple of hours as we had time to kill before the airport and cooked us a surprise dinner and had great conversation. Epic stay with a very trustworthy family! Thank you

The owners were so extremely hospitable to us. Making us a home cooked meal, and providing tea and biscuits for a very very early flight we had to catch. I can’t recommend staying at this little boutique hotel enough. The rooms were spotless, the shower was great and you are free to relax in the lounge with your friends and family.

There is no actual difference among room categories. They are all the same. So the way it is priced and charged is very strange on the website and misleading. Beware, the hotel charges extra people - even if you made a mistake and still booked a triple room. You need to triple check that everything is right. Plus, the hotel did not mention that breakfast wouldn't be included and then served breakfast - while two people barely had breakfast (one banana), we were about to be charged a $15 hefty fee per person (more like a luxury hotel). Ultimately, the bathrooms are rudimentary/ basic. The owner is a nice person, but the whole experience can be a little invasive if you prefer privacy.

Amazing , I spent a night in Sri white villa , everything was perfect. the owner is very nice , the villa and the room are super clean and spacious, i got a room with a very nice balcony. The breakfast was delicious and typical from Sri Lanka . I highly recommend it

Had a very good stay with Crish. Booked one night, our flight was delayed into Colombo until very late at night, he stayed up and waited, organised a taxi and made us comfortable immediately. The villa itself is very nice and the Sri Lankan breakfast we had in the morning was delicious. Will definitely come back :)

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Sri White Villa verbracht – super praktisch gelegen, nur ein paar Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, aber trotzdem ruhig. Perfekt, wenn man spät ankommt oder früh abfliegt. Das Zimmer war gross, sehr sauber und viel schöner, als wir für den Preis erwartet hätten. Was aber wirklich heraussticht: Die Gastgeber. Crish und seine Frau waren unglaublich nett.

Die Unterkunft war an sich schön. Die Lage in der Nähe des Flughafens (7 Minuten mit dem Auto) war gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine Klimaanlage. Der Besitzer hat uns einen billigen Transfer zur nächsten Unterkunft besorgt.

Der Besitzer ist sehr unzuverlässig. Wir haben einen Flughafentransfer gebucht und einen Late Check-in. Leider war der Besitzer nicht am Flughafen und wir mussten uns ein sehr teures Taxi nehmen. Als wir in der Unterkunft ankamen, war leider für 2 Stunden keiner da. Es war mitten in der Nacht und niemand war erreichbar. Mit uns war ein Ehepaar mit 3 Kinder, die 2 Zimmer gebucht hatten, in der Unterkunft. Leider waren dort nicht mehr genug Zimmer trotz Buchung vorhanden. Es gab außerdem kein Warmwasser im Bad.

We arrived late and he made us so at home with tea and even offered to fix us some supper for a small fee. We had a delicious breakfast the next day and he organised us a lift to the airport. Honestly look no further … stay here !

We had an amazing stay! Super clean, great aircon, incredible hospitality by Crish and his wife, delicious breakfast, airport taxi organised for us - the list goes on! Couldn’t recommend this place more, definitely one of the better stays of our trip!!

Kris was very friendly owner/manager of the hotel. The location is great as an airport transit hotel. Its close to the airport yet in a very quiet, green and serene neighbourhood. Its also walking distance to Keells supermarket, shops and cafes etc. Very clean.room and bathroom. The staff is helpful. They gave me access to.the kitchen.to make tea.

There were mosquitoes in room despite all doors and windows being closed. Perhaps mosquito nets is a good option to include. There was a broken dresser mirror in my room. They offered to replace it. In lieu of these minor problems Kris offered to give me a free ride to.the airport which I appreciated very much.
