Gezellig landelijk hotel, niet ver van de snelweg A63. Was voor 1 overnachting, omdat we op doorreis waren. Echte aanrader. Leuk ingerichte kamer, heerlijk 2-persoonsbed. Zag er schoon en verzorgd uit.

Was lastig om te douchen in de badkuip, zonder uit te glijden. Wel een lekkere harde, warme douche.

Personnel discret, qui ne force en rien les choses pour les repas facultatifs. Les lits sont mou, nous avons apprécié, et la décoration est raffinée. Cela change des hôtels classiques.

La baignoire dans la salle de bain est un + pour les enfants, mais nous avons voyagé avec ma maman qui à des difficultés de mobilités. Cela peut-être problématique pour certaine personne.

Restaurant très bien, fin et délicat

L'accueuil, la serviabilité et le sourire naturel et permanent de l'hôte.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes altes Landhaus, das mit viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Marina ist eine exzellente und freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir sind leider zu spät angekommen und zu früh gefahren, um im Restaurant zu essen oder zu frühstücken, aber das Restaurant und die Terrasse sehen sehr gemütlich und idyllisch aus.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem süßen kleinen Ort Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Ortschaft ist wirklich klein und unglaublich süß perfekt für einen ruhigen und gemütlichen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel und auch unser Zimmer haben uns sehr gut gefallen und waren liebevoll und gemütlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin: Sie war super nett, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur auf der Durchreise und konnten deshalb nicht länger bleiben. Sehr schade, denn wir hätten gerne noch mehr von der schönen Umgebung und dem Ort gesehen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen und dann etwas mehr Zeit mitbringen.

Dit leuke hotel heeft een fantastisch leuk terras, maar ook binnen kan je heerlijk zitten. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en ook de hond mag overal mee naartoe. Het inchecken ging ontzettend makkelijk en we werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamers zijn keurig en schoon, het bed ligt lekker. En dan: het restaurant. Dit is echt waanzinnig goed. We hebben geweldig traditioneel frans gegeten en een heerlijke avond gehad op onze doorreis terug naar het Noorden. Het parkeren bij de accommodatie is gratis en is, omdat je je in een klein frans dorpje bevindt ook hartstikke veilig. Wij komen zeker terug.

De kamers zijn prima en de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is top. Als ik iets zou moeten noemen dan is het, het ontbreken van een airco in de kamer maar we zijn de nacht prima doorgekomen.

Unfortunately people leaving around 3am were incredibly loud. There is no sound proofing and so they woke everyone up.

A lovely little french village with a stunning church! Easily accessed from the main routes, quiet and peaceful. The host was welcoming very friendly and was a great translater when the need arose!

The bar across the road charged nearly 8 euros for a large beer and served up old olives. I was eaten by mosquito's. Although advising I was vegetarian as part of my booking, giving plenty of notice. I had to repeat this request on arrival and was only offered a salad which when arrived was basically some lettuce leaves, a sprinkle of sheeps cheese and a very under cooked egg (basically it was see through) so the dish had to be returned. Although tasty once returned, not filling for a main meal.

L'endroit au calme, les glycines magnifiques en terrasse , l'hôtel resté dans son histoire, les menus du terroir, l'accueil, tout était très reposant

Une fois la lumière éteinte le ventilateur s'arrête aussi un peu chaud dans la chambre et l'écoulement dans la douche se fait difficilement sinon très bien

L'accueil des propriétaires aimables. La localisation de l'hôtel dans un village paisible. La chambre rustique apaisante. La terrasse extérieure, avec sa magnifique glycine, pour un excellent petit déjeuner.

Le seul petit hic : Dans la chambre 5 celle que nous occupions,un store ou volet à la fenêtre de la salle de bain.

El hotel está en un pueblo encantador. Es una casa landesa, preciosa. Cenamos en el restaurante, en un porche maravilloso, debajo de un emparrado. Una cena deliciosa!!! La cama comodísima, silencio absoluto. Habitación y cuarto de baño muy amplios.

Optimal für einen Zwischenstopp. Kleiner Edelstein in einem authentischen kleinen Dorf mit Kirche, Marktplatz, Gasthof und Rathaus.Wie im Bilderbuch. Ruhig und komfortabel mit ausgezeichnetem Restaurant und sehr gutem Frühstück. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wie kommen gerne wieder.

Dicht bij autosnelweg en toch heel rustig

La ubicación es perfecta. La habitación es amplia, silenciosa y estaba muy limpia. La cena y el desayuno, perfectos. La terraza es perfecta para poder cenar y tomar algo. La atención de Marina ha sido fantástica. Volveremos seguro.

Immer wieder gerne, tolles kleines sehr persönliches hotel. Letztes Jahr auch mega gegessen...dieses Jahr waren wir erst um 0:30 im hotel und da sind wir trotzdem so nett begrüßt worden. Immer wieder sehr schön!

Sfeervol hotel, prima parkeerplaats. Prima restaurant, heerlijk gegeten

Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Frühstück sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich, die Betten sehr bequem und alles war äußerst sauber. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das jederzeit für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen, was für uns ein großer Pluspunkt war und den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Hotel befindet sich an einem idyllischen Ort und bietet ein wunderschönes Ambiente zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen gerne wieder!

This is not a place to stay when it is warm. The room was unbearably hot and impossible to sleep. Not having a door on the shower room or an opening window in the wc are not ideal.

Pèlerines sur le chemin de Compostelle, nous avons vraiment passé un agréable moment à l’Escalandes. Belle chambre, bonne litetie. L’accueil y est chaleureux, bienveillant et le repas excellent. Nous sommes du Pas-de-Calais et espérons avoir l’occasion d’y retourner. Un grand merci !

Convenient for the motorway yet quiet location. Room was spacious with good ensuite facilities. Beautiful views from the window. The food was delicious and the owner was charming.

L'hôtel est très chic... moi qui adore faire les brocantes, là c'était le top de tout regarder, les objets que l'hôtesse avait dénichés et mis en valeur... Petit déjeuner au top avec de bons croissants et petits pains... il ne manquait rien !! Dîner devant la cheminée au chaud... grande chambre avec salle de bain et WC indépendants, on y a bien dormi... parfait

Comfortable and warm

I didn’t expect The Ritz but it was warm and comfortable ; and extremely clean . The dining room was well laid out wiih a super open fire . The cooking was very good indeed ! My welcome was friendly and , because I was travelling onwards through Spain to Portugal , the location close to the motorways was very convenient . Would I stay there again ? Absolutely ! I was disappointed that I was unable to book a room for my return journey at the end of this month ! But hope to be able when I return to Portugal in May .

Food was excellent in restaurant. Room was big, bed comfortable.

We were not aware reception was closed between 15.00 - 18.00 each day, so on arrival I found our key left in a pigeon hole in the hallway. However everywhere else was locked so we couldn't use the lounge, get a drink or coffee. Our room only had half a roll of toilet paper, 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels only between us plus no bath plug. I messaged Marina who promptly did bring up supplies. Room not very soundproofed, we could hear people chatting in the next room. Bit disappointed, paintwork could do with a good freshen up.

Very charming hotel in a centuries old building. Easy to find in the village center, not far away from the motorway. The building, albeit very old, is well maintained, charming and cozy. The lady who served us – I assume she is the owner – was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large, very clean, well heated (we traveled in Winter) and comfortable.

Sound proofing… but I suppose it's not possible to do better in such an old building.

Alles war wie beschrieben und es war sehr ruhig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die parkgelegenheit direkt vor der Unterkunft war optimal.

Das L‘Escalades ist ein sehr einfaches Hotel, deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, mit Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor den Haus. Das Zimmer war sauber. Unser kleiner Hund willkommen und wurde mit 15€ berechnet. Das Abendessen war etwas enttäuschend, und entsprach nicht wirklich den zuvor gelesenen Bewertungen. Das Frühstück war einfach und sehr überschaubar! Aber immerhin die frischen Croissants köstlich.

Wir hatten bei dem schönen Wetter auf ein Abendessen auf der Terrasse des Hotels gehofft, welche leider gar nicht darauf eingerichtet war. Das Bett war auf der einen Seite vollkommen durchgelegen. Und der Café am Morgen aus dem Automaten auch eher schade. Beim Auschecken gab es Unstimmigkeiten mit dem von uns vorab gezahlten Zimmerpreis. Das muss definitiv nach unserer Rückreise noch geklärt werden. Vermutlich werden wir nicht wieder an diesen Ort reisen.

La chambre est sommaire, un peu en deça des standards actuels de confort, mais la literie est OK et c'est propre. Le restaurant est vraiment bon, cartes courtes, mais avec des plats locaux et de qualité.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön, es ist ein altes fast historisches Gebäude, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, Wir hatten ein wunderbares leckeres Abendessen und ein tolles Frühstück. Es gibt eine ganz tolle Terrasse. Sehr freundliche inhaber/Mitarbeiter. Es war sehr sauber, Eine himmlische Ruhe . Das hotel ist einfach und schnell von der Autobahn zu erreichen. Ein Erlebnis!! Zum wiederholen.
