O que mais gostamos foi da tranquilidade do espaço que nos permitiu desligar das rotinas. Está situado sob um céu bastante escuro, com condições ideias para a observação astronómica. A casa está totalmente equipada. Não faltou nada. E, ainda é pet friendly! O anfitrião é, igualmente, 5*****

De rust. Dit is ontspannen op topniveau. Hangmat, afkoelen in het zwembad, voor de kinderen goede wifi en een televisie met Neftlix. Pedro is een fantastische gastheer die van te voren duidelijke instructies stuurt, inclusief tips voor restaurants; bezoek ze zeker!

Voor ons niks. Ons huisje beschikte niet over een vaatwasser, dat zou iemand een probleem kunnen vinden.

A casa é super acolhedora. A harmonia entre a quinta e a casa é encantadora, ideal para relaxar. Espaço muito limpo, desde da bancada da cozinha ao forno (pormenores que muitos sitios descuidam). Na cozinha têm tudo disponível ao detalhe. Levamos 2 cadelinhas e correu tudo super bem, tinham espaço para explorar e descansar. Toda a quinta é tranquila, dá para passear, andar de bicicleta e apreciar a paisagem. É sem dúvida um lugar a voltar!

A tranquilidade do local, o espaço exterior e a piscina. A casa é muito agradável, acolhedora e proporciona ótimos momentos em família.

Estivemos 7 noites no Monte e foi fantástico. A casa é super confortável, com muita luz natural e o espaço exterior é muito bom. Fomos muito bem recebidos e para despedida foi-nos oferecido um miminho, que muito agradecemos. Não há nada que tenha corrido menos bem.

O sossego do local, o espaço exterior está muito bem arranjado, é possível andar de bicicleta pelo local e os matrecos tb ajudam a distrair. A piscina é boa, talvez falte mais um chapéu de sol para quando está mais gente. A casa onde ficámos estava bem equipada. A cama de rede foi um dos locais favoritos dos miúdos. Demos bom uso à churrasqueira. Tem hipótese de reciclar, tendo caixotes separados.

Não houve nada que não gostasse. Apenas sugestões: talvez rede mosquiteira nas janelas da casa desse jeito para as poder abrir de noite (ou apenas na wc, para quando tomamos banho sair o vapor).

Gostei da paz e da atenção dada pelo anfitrião e funcionários. Tudo limpo e funcional. Aparentemente, de acordo com outros hóspedes, há casas com áreas mais razoáveis. A piscina é relativamente pequena mas limpa e cuidada. Os “corvatenses” (habitantes da aldeia) são altamente sociáveis.

A casa onde fiquei tem quartos e WC exíguos. As malas tiveram de ficar na sala. Os lavatórios são mínimos.

la casa que alquilamos era preciosa y muy espaciosa , es una zona rural totalmete aislada pera desconectar unos dias , tiene cerca el pueblo de almodobar donde puedes realizar todo tipo de compras , en nuestro casa la casa contaba con dos baños y patio delantero y trasero con su barbacoa . Pedro deja un detalle a la llegada un vino de elaboracion propia y ecologico que esta muy bueno de echo me traje algunas botellas .

la zona con demasiadas cuestas para dejar el coche , pero lo compenso la preciosa casa .

We’re a family of four, with our baby and our small dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holiday. The farmhouse is beautifully peaceful, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a truly relaxing stay. Pedro, Mr. Manuel and Susana were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The mare and the donkey were a lovely bonus and added so much charm to our stay. As soon as we left, we were already talking about coming back next year. Thank you for making us feel so welcome – we’ll definitely be back.

This place exceeded every expectation. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and genuinely cozy — top-notch in every detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Pedro and his family gave us the warmest welcome we could have asked for, even greeting us with a bottle of wine. They personally showed us around the property, and their kindness and friendliness made the whole stay feel special from start to finish. The premises themselves are like something out of a dream. Everything is beautifully kept, with a peaceful pond, a little bridge, and even a treehouse on site. We got to pet donkey Catita and Baga the horse every day and there are also turtles in the water. The whole setting is wonderfully quiet and serene — the kind of place where you can truly switch off and breathe. We were genuinely sad to leave. This is one of those rare stays that stays with you, and we will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for nature, tranquility, and real hospitality.

O espaço era incrível. O ambiente de paz ao nosso redor, a piscina, a casa onde ficámos hospedados… Realmente não poderíamos ter pedido melhor. A quinta também nos proporcionou várias atividades como andar de bicicleta e fazer caiaque de forma completamente livre e espontânea, que melhorou bastante a nossa experiência.

Calm, clean & very friendly people

Verspreid over een groot terrein liggen een paar ruime vakantiehuizen. Ons huis was groter dan we gewend waren en was van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was er heel stil, wellicht ook omdat niet alle huisjes bezet waren. Soms lopen paard en ezel langs je raam. ’s Nachts is de sterrenhemel hier heel goed te bewonderen. We werden verwelkomd door Pedro, die heel behulpzaam was. Het huis ligt op het platteland: geen toeristische streek, maar je kunt heerlijk over de weggetjes wandelen. Hou je van rust en wandel je graag dan is dit echt een aanrader.

Alles was perfect en zeer comfortabel.

Recomendamos vivamente este espaço. Todo o espaço é muito relaxante. Para nossa sorte (azar do Pedro Carvalho :D ) estivemos sozinhos as 4 noites que lá passámos. Aproveitámos para fazer churrascos, apanhar sol e dar uns mergulhos na piscina, dar de comer à égua e à burra :) A casa está muito bem equipada e limpa. Ainda utilizamos também a salamandra numa das noites que estava mais frio. Para quem procura relaxar e estar no meio da natureza, este é o local ideal.

Ideal para descansar e passar bom tempo em família. Entretenimento para as crianças e adultos, como: Kayak, matraquilhos, bicicletas e piscina. O anfitrião Pedro foi muito prestável. A 12 minutos do monte, fica a vila de Almodôvar, onde se pode encontrar um pouco de tudo.

We had a fantastic stay at Corvatos Casas do Monte – a 10/10 for our family. We travelled from Ireland with our two boys, and it was perfect for all of us. The setting is peaceful and safe, with loads of space to explore. The farm animals were a big highlight – so calm and well looked after. We loved walking around, kayaking, and cycling, which was a great way to enjoy the surroundings. Almodôvar is just 10 minutes away and is a lovely small town with handy shops and a great local feel. Definitely try the local food while you’re there – it was excellent. A special thanks to Pedro, who was an amazing host and made our stay even better. We made brilliant family memories here and would highly recommend it, especially for families.

You do need a car to get around, but that’s no issue at all—especially when travelling as a family, it really makes everything easier.

Corvatos casas do monte has been in my list for more than a year. When finally arrived here, it still surprised everyone in the family. Pedro was super nice. He hung up the hammock for us and showed us around. We were so happy that our dog Muffin can run around. He could follow our daughters everywhere and even stayed beside the pool. Also met some other families with dogs. I bet everyone love this pet friendly place! We checked Ms.Donkey and Ms.Horse several times a day. My girls grabbed carrots and munched together with them. My younger daughter fulfilled her dream of being a shepherd with his cavalier king charles shepherd. But the sheep mistook them for a pack of wolves. This place is a gem in Alentejo. We did a bit of light hiking and cycling . Pool time and canoe were also highlights. The owner let my girls ride their horse too. Only thing you need to worry is to see if you can stay longer. Every window view is a different oil painting. The bed and everything is clean and nice. Kitchen well equipped. 10 minutes drive to super market. We definitely wanna come back to spend another amazing holiday.

Nous avons eu quelques petits soucis technique, mais le proprietaire était super réactif.

Tudo impecável, a casa é bastante moderna, tem janelas panorâmicas com uma vista espetacular para o monte! Se procuram um sítio para fugir ao caos da cidade, estar apenas conectado na natureza, este é o local ideal! Vamos querer voltar com toda a certeza! Ps: os patudos são bem vindos o que é excelente, a Nala 🐶 adorou poder correr a vontade no espaço

A localização, o silêncio, a casinha! Tudo muito agradável. A simpatia e a preocupação do proprietário em que tudo estivesse bem.

Gostei de tudo. Apenas uma nota, que em dias muito frios a temperatura pode ser um desafio e o ar condicionado não é suficiente. O proprietário providenciou de imediato um aquecimento adicional e a casa ficou confortável.

We were here for 7 days. Views through picture windows were brilliant, because we saw lots of birds - including Hoopoe. Comfortable bed and lovely linen. Great surroundings being the lake (turtles and fish), swimming pool and gardens. Had a swim in November! Great to see Mr D (donkey).

There was very little to dislike about the property, but the house was difficult to access because of the slope.

Locul este superb, ne-a placut foarte mult. Si Pedro a fost foarte dragut cu noi oferindu-ne si un upgrade. Cu siguranta o sa revenim!

The property was picturesque, private, and all around so beautiful. There were animals all around us, a play area for little kids, an area where I could run, and it was a breath of fresh air. The host was incredibly accommodating and provided us with all of the necessities to cook and relax.

I absolutely loved my stay! The comfort, the friendly welcome, and the peaceful atmosphere were wonderful. I especially appreciated the modern and well-equipped facilities, the attentive reception—really, everything was perfect.

De luxe uitstraling van het huis, de verzorgdheid van de kamers en kleine details waar Pedro (en zijn familie) aan heeft gedacht. De tuin was een oase van rust en een klein groen paradijs. Er zijn ook verschillende dieren te vinden rondom de accomodatie (paard, ezel, varkens, kippen, schappen en katten), onze zoon (1 jaar) vond die erg interessant. Hele fijne tijd gehad!

We loved our short stay! Pedro was the most amazing host - he let us arrive earlier and stay until afternoon on our last day which we appreciated immensely as there was just no rush at all. The property is beautiful, so peaceful and with a nice pool for a dip. Our highlight was feeding and petting the donkey and horse - they were super friendly! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Cooking essentials such as oil, vinegar, salt would have been a nice touch.

Ficámos encantados com este alojamento! 🌿 O silêncio e a paz da natureza tornam a estadia perfeita para descansar. A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e bem cuidada, assim como todos os espaços exteriores. Há imenso para desfrutar em família: a casinha da árvore, que a nossa filha adorou, as canoas à beira do lago, as bicicletas disponíveis para passear e até a visita aos animais da quinta. Tivemos a experiência única de recolher ovos frescos das galinhas, alimentar os porquinhos bebés e fazer festinhas à égua e à burra Catita, momentos inesquecíveis! Queremos também destacar a simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. Pedro e da sua família, que nos receberam de forma espetacular e fizeram-nos sentir verdadeiramente em casa. Um local que recomendamos sem hesitar e ao qual certamente voltaremos! 🌸

Um tesouro escondido, a localização longe de qualquer ruído, as acomodações (ficámos numa das casas revestidas a madeira), todas as comodidades e atividades que se podem fazer (canoagem num pequeno na propriedade, mergulhar na piscina, relaxar nos recantos ao espalhados pela propriedade, olhar para as estrelas à noite apenas com os sons da Natureza ou acordar com as aves). Uma experiência fora de série e a repetir!

A nossa estadia foi muito boa, num sitío tranquilo que ainda oferece passeios de bicicleta e kayak. Gostámos da estadia e agradecemos a hospitalidade com que fomos recebidos pelo Pedro.

Het is een prachtige locatie en het is een heel sfeervol huis. De kinderen konden zich heel goed vermaken met de dieren, het zwembad, de fietsen en de kano's. Hele aardige eigenaar met vriendelijke ontvangst. We hebben echt genoten van de rust, de sterrenhemel en het mooie landschap!

Er is niet heel veel te doen in de omgeving, maar dat maakte ons niet uit.

From the weighted draft-excluders, to the welcoming drinks every detail of the property was superb. The facilities are modern and functional and the decor tastefully reflects the rural location. There are plenty of fun activities too.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. There were other guests there at the same time but we felt like we were the only ones there. The owner was kind to give us some fresh eggs and checked we had everything we needed.

Beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings! Extremely clean and pretty. Perfect for a romantic stay and to have peaceful time to switch off. Pedro was on hand all the time to help us with anything. He is an excellent host who wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable! And was on hand to help whenever we needed anything.

The property was stunning both the apartment and the grounds. We were just driving home and wanted a stopover for an evening, but I would have liked to stay much longer. We had a lovely sitting room, kitchen, and balcony with a loft bedroom. The interior was creative, clean, and just very nicely done. The grounds were incredible with a shared outdoor kitchen, sauna, pool, and hottub. We went on a great hike to a local river beach. The host was incredibly kind and attentive! We will be back.

Perfect place for holiday with kids. The "monte" is larger than what l was expecting, with plenty of space for the children to go around, explore, play. Despite being large is all fenced so we felt safe in having the kids going around in their own. The house is great and Pedro (the host) has been very kind and always making sure that was all good with our stay. We appreciated as well the delivery of freshly picked eggs and tomatos

One of the highlights was the great BBQ setup, which allowed us to enjoy some delicious meals while soaking in the natural beauty around us. Speaking of nature, the surroundings were stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing and unwinding. We also loved the swimming experience; it was refreshing and just added to the overall joy of our holiday. Everything was top-notch, from the accommodations to the ambiance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and escape from the hectic routine, this is the perfect spot. I must confess that the place exceeded all our expectations. Besides being beautiful and peaceful, it's a great place for any family with children who want to be close to nature. The houses have been restored and are gorgeous! There's a tree-house that fascinates both adults and children! A huge thank you to Pedro for his friendliness and kindness towards us.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The area around the house is also beautifully landscaped and very peaceful and quiet. Pedro, the owner is delightful and always helpful.

We loved everything

Everything is very clean and well planned. The house has a really nice view with nature. The host Pedro is very polite and receptive, he prepared a surprise for my wife's birthday with exclusive wine, cheese, and a homemade cake. There is a lake to my dog swimming and the dogs are very welcome. We will be back soon, for sure.

The property is amazing. It’s beautifully set in a quiet estate in the south of Alentejo. The house is a traditional rammed earth construction renovated with great taste. It’s super comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the unique sunset and spent almost our entire week using the beautiful pool. The owner and managers were incredibly kind and generous. We can’t wait to be back again over the summer .

Was lovely inside & out , very classy. Had everything you would want. All done to a high standard. The pictures don’t do it justice, pool are was so nice, taking a dip with great scenery. Sitting by the lake with lovely view . Internet very good also a good size TV. Must add very secure and plenty of parking, entrance via an electric gate.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

We loved absolutely everything! The house is in a quiet place facing a lake and in pure nature. The gardens and space surrounding the house are very well looked after and have been well thought for a wonderful stay, as well as all equipments to make your stay memorable (garden furmiture and outside table for outside dining, barbecue, wood pool chairs to lay in the sun or below an olive tree). We loved the swing chairs and wood cut table facing the lake, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine in your hand. This was a truly Alentejo experience. We met our host and had the opportunity to exchange with him (thank you Pedro!, great people do make places great too!). We are already making plans to come back.

Everything was perfect. Nothing negative to point out.

The house was so confortable, the divisions were big with a lot of space. The decorarion was simple but with a very good sense of decoration.

The pool could be bigger.
