Mount Bolton Loft House

We liked the house and the out side space. The sauna was a great addition. Also, the the chilren had a chance to play on a play ground, play with dogs and puppies and feed the horses 🙂‍↕️

Le logement était très propre, bien décoré et confortable. Les équipements extérieurs et les animaux ont été très appréciés des enfants en particulier.

Nous n’avons malheureusement pas rencontré nos hôtes. Mais les échanges étaient rapides et sympathiques par messages.

Das Bett war auf einer Galerie im Obergeschoß wo es, da wir gerade zur Zeit einer Hitzewelle in Irland waren sehr heiß wurde, es ist da oben auch kein Fenster eingebaut, sodass man lüften hätte können. Die Probelmatik ist den Besizern auch bewusst, diese Hitzewellen in Irland sind erst seit letztem Jahr soh extrem. Ansonsten alles top!

Accommodation was very clean and of a high standard and could not be faulted apart from the patchy wifi. The kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas were all of a high standard with good quality linen & towels.

The accommodation had no views outside. One side window faced a wall and another faced a small yard which contained 6-8 large gas tanks and a shipping container which seem to operate as a laundry. Both of these side windows had blinds to screen these views but once you opened the blinds the views were not great. The glass in the front door was frosted so there was no external views within the property at all. Once outside the only door you were faced with 3 shipping containers. The owner or site on staff did not communicate or acknowledge us at all apart from giving us the key even though they were constantly passing us by going to the adjacent laundry or the stables next door. There were about 6 very friendly dogs on site who appeared at your door as soon as you opened it which was a bit frustrating when we wanted to sit down outside to eat & chat as they were literally on your knee looking for food and one of them was a very large dog whose head was table high so we retreated inside to eat rather than shoo the dogs away constantly. There was also a log of dog poos all around the place so definitely recommend gates to the accommodation area to enable guests to better manage the 6 dogs. The place is a good place to sleep/ eat if you need a bed locally but in our opinion not much else and we did not feel relaxed or welcome by anyone at any stage who we meet on site apart from the dogs!

Absolutely lovely place, highly recommend to everyone. My kids was playing with Inga (owner)kids , outside on the playground. Well organised for kids area to play. They have so many dogs around and horses. Me and my husband enjoyed sauna session. House was lovely , everything in it what you need. I wish to spend more time there. But came only for one night

Really comfy property. Just the right size. Great kitchen facilities for cooking in the vending and having a cosy night in. We went as a group of 4 of us, and our two friends said the sofa bed was extremely comfy. So many lovely dogs and horses living on the grounds!!

Een mooi en goed uitgerust appartement . Vanwege de warmte, ongewoon voor Ierland, kregen we nog een ventilator die ervoor zorgde dat het niet te warm was toen we gingen slapen.

De locatie op een paardenhouderij is mooi, maar het uitzicht vanuit het appartement was wat beperkt.

Loft à la campagne, qui comprend tout ce qu'il faut pour dormir. Le lit et le canapé sont confortables, la cuisine permet de préparer les déjeuner et/ou repas au besoin.

The privacy was reassuring and the enviroment was serene for a quiet holliday outing

Could not watch Tv because of poor wifi internet and the remote control keys for the gate didnt work, making us always call the host everytime we wanted to pass through the gate.

It's a lovely little space. Nicely decorated. The host Inga was very nice.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on -I would say it's more suitable for 2 people max to stay as there is double bed as well. Wifi was not working,but it was an awful weather-maybe it has an effect on it. Radiator in the shower was not heating.

I like the easy going to check-in and check-out.

Liked everything.. Hade everything i needed, and the owner was so friendly.. Hade perfect two nights, just for my self.. Only problem was , couldn't stay longer 😁,work was calling back 🫣 Definitely going back there again..

A nice, comfortable house with modern renovations and a beautiful design. There is a second floor with a bed. The house has internet, a large TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a refrigerator. There are friendly animals, dogs, and horses on the territory. The house is conveniently located for quick car travel to Waterford and other attractions.

We stayed for three nights and wanted somewhere to put our bags, but there are no shelves or hangers in the house. We would also like a few extra hangers in the bathroom to hang things while you're in the shower.

Schön und praktisch eingerichtet (alles was man braucht) und viele Tiere auf dem Grundstück.

Kommunikation mit Gastgeber teilweise schwierig (lange Antwortzeiten), Babybett zugesagt aber keins in der Wohnung gewesen, Wassertemperatur in der Dusche sehr wechselhaft

Shower would go ice cold during and took 5 mins to return to normal. WiFi issues relating to tv they meant only Netflix would work as it kept dropping out. WiFi wouldn’t really work on smart phone.

Value and style of the place, good sleep and quiet environment with good space as well. Will come again next time I visit the area.

The shower should be improved it's the only thing preventing me to put a 10. Location is a bit far from Waterford but it also quieter and more affordable

Inga was very welcoming. The location was lovely with green rolling fields all around. Inga has riding stables so there are horses to be patted (and ridden, if booked I guess). The unit is well appointed and had everything we needed.

As someone who is afraid of heights the spiral staircase in the centre of the room was a bit daunting! But I coped 😳.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely bright, modern and clean tiny house. Very calm and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a little escape. We'll equipped kitchen as well.

Found here to stop over the night before on a planned day trip to Cobh in Cork. This is a fab one room loft house located on a lovely little equestrian farm. Very modern and clean. The family’s dogs roamed freely and were just amazing so friendly and obviously very used to people. Inga, the host was super easy to deal with over calls and texts. Popped into Carrig-on-Suir for a lovely meal in the Carraig Hotel and only 10 mins drive away. Would highly recommend this spot.
