Lovely, quiet and well appointed accommodation . I could not fault it. Great little kitchen, comfy bed, hot shower and close to town. Mayra the hostess is lovely. 10/10.

Muy lindo, preciosas vistas, muy amable el personal y súper preocupados de que necesitas, todo muy limpio y ordenado.

The location was good, and the people were very nice.

Payment was not possible in US dollars as advertised! I ended up having to pay an additional $8 by card. To make matters worse, at the end I was asked to pay again! Luckily, I still had the receipt with me and was able to prove that I had already paid. I don’t know whether this was simply a mistake or if charging customers twice is part of their practice, but make sure you get and keep your receipt! Definitely double-check your bill before paying again.

Localização muito boa, silêncio, água quente. Cozinha bem equipada, quarto com ótimo tamanho. Mayra e Verônica foram excelentes anfitriãs, muito atentas, simpáticas e carinhosas. Certamente voltaria a me hospedar na Casa Los Duendes.

Não houve nada que não tenha gostado. Até o fato de ter que esperar pelas vans para os passeios na rua principal (um minuto de caminhada, se tanto) não foi nenhum problema ou desconforto.

Everything was Perfect. The place is very quiet and at 10’ from main street. The rooms (we tried two) was Perfect. The kitchen very helpful and well equiped. The owners are kind,and accomodatîng. After 20 days in chile its our best place to be!

La atención y recomendaciones de Mayra, la persona encargada. Tambien esta muy cerca a la calle principal, pero con la distancia suficiente para ser un lugar muy tranquilo para relajarse.

Las antenas que interfieren con la vista al volcán licancabur... pero eso no es culpa del hostal. Igual tiene una gran vista!

Puedes disfrutar la vista del volcán Licancabur desde tu propia habitación.

El pasaje para llegar es oscuro. Pero nada que no se arregle con la linterna del celular.

Super Hostel und sauber, eigene Küche die ich mir mit einem anderen Zimmer geteilt habe, Terrasse zum Draußensitzen. Ein bisschen weiter außerhalb, aber dadurch war es sehr ruhig nachts. Bin als Alleinreisende ein bisschen sparsamer unterwegs, aber hier hätte ich auch mit meiner Familie definitiv ein Zimmer gebucht. Kann das Hostel absolut empfehlen! :)

El sitio era muy tranquilo y con unas vistas muy bonitas. Está a unos minutos a pie del centro, lo que lo preserva del bullicio y los ruidos. Hay un ambiente campestre. Me gusta que tenga cocina, te da mucha independencia. Lo mejor de todo, la encargada, Mayra, una chica encantadora siempre disponible y eficiente.

It felt very homely, a lovely view of the mountains, clean, quiet, somewhere you could chill after the trips. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Unterkunft in einer kleinen Seitengasse etwas „außerhalb“ vom Zentrum, was wir sehr gut fanden, denn es war ruhig mit tollem Blick auf den „Haus“vulkan Licancabur und guten & sicheren Parkmöglichkeiten. Man war dennoch sehr schnell in der zentralen Straße Caracoles. Die Ausstattung ist natürlich spartanisch, aber wenn man nach San Pedro fährt, dann plant man m.E. keinen 5SterneSpa-Urlaub. Die Vermieterin war sehr herzlich.

Superou minhas expectativas! A cama era super confortável, a funcionária Mayra era muito agradável e solícita. São poucos quartos então o local é extremamente silencioso. Existe uma copa bastante funcional, com chaleira, microondas, geladeira com divisórias por quarto, café solúvel e chá disponíveis, assim como talheres, pratos, xícaras, etc. Com certeza ficaria novamente e recomendo a todos.

Não sei se é algo generalizado por estarmos em um deserto, mas a pressão da água do chuveiro era bem baixa. Considerando que à noite faz muito frio, tornou a experiência do banho um pouco desagradável pela pouca quantidade de água. O hostal fica em uma rua de terra estreia e sem iluminação, então à noite você precisa ligar a lanterna do celular para enxergar onde pisa. Por ser uma rua estreia, a van dos passeios não consegue entrar e nos pedem para esperar na esquina. Na maioria dos casos não é um grande problema, mas o transfer do aeroporto, por exemplo, não envia a localização em tempo real do motorista e nos pediu para ficar na esquina das 04h30 às 05h15 aguardando a van. Tivemos que enviar um texto à empresa pedindo que nos avisassem por whatsapp quando o motorista estivesse chegando. São apenas alguns detalhes que poderiam melhorar a experiência, mas os pontos positivos foram muito maiores.

J'y ai séjourné 4 nuits et particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité du lieu et sa situation géographique. Cet Hostal est parfaitement tenue par Veronica et Mayra, l'accueil est agréable, le logement est sain et d’une très grande propreté. Merci à toutes deux d’avoir contribué à la réussite de mon voyage.

Que la cocina está completamente equipada, incluso con café, té, azúcar si uno desea prepararse durante el día.

飯店外的路完全沒修理，光推行李進飯店就是一大挑戰 若有習慣自己騎自己衣服的人，千萬不要去住 因為他們規定不可以洗衣服

A lovely place to stay, the family are very welcoming (they don’t speak much English and we don’t Spanish but we got by). The room was comfortable, liked having a table & chairs outside to enjoy the sun, WiFi is good even in the room! Nice hot water too. They offer laundry too which was great for us, the kitchen is very well equipped, we made a few meals there.

The only complaint is that the bed was old & squeaked at even the smallest movement. The curtains let a lot of light in too.

Maya was really friendly and helpful accommodating my late last minute booking. The room was spotless.

I arrived exhausted after 24 hrs of flights. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist who checked me in immediately around 10 am. The room was comfortable, bright, and had a nice view of the mountains. Being in the dessert, you can appreciate the greenery around the bnb. Hot water, extra blankets, fluffy towels, etc, added to a comfortable stay. The fully equipped shared kitchen was a bonus. You could prepare your meals, coffee etc and mingle with other guests. The location is about 10min walk to the main center but carry face masks for the dust. Payment is accepted in USD or card, but there's a card fee. The reception was friendly and responsive and went above and beyond to make my a stay a pleasant one despite the language barrier. Airport transfers and tours meet you or near the gate. Overall, it was a great stay.

The road to the bnb is off the main road, down an alley road. This was sometimes a challenge for tours. There is also no lighting on this road and very dark at night. They should allow some DIY laundary as the laundary cost is quite high.

Me encantó la atención del personal, la vista que tenía y la limpieza de la habitación. También había una cocina común donde teníamos de todo. Las facilidades que daban para check in y check out y además habían mesitas afuera de cada habitación. Verónica y Mayra son un amor y siempre atentas a cualquier necesidad. Me encantó!!! Queda a 12 min aprox caminando de calle Caracoles.

Hosts are really nice and let me check in as early as they can. Room is spacious and clean with a big window toward yard where you can enjoy sunshine，beds are very comfy. There is also a very organized kitchen. The location is great for me, quite, not far away from the main street. Since it is a little inside of Village, with less light at night, the big surprise is that you can see the milky way just in the yard at night, it's all clear and stunning. Saving you 27 bucks to sign up for the stargazing tour with more private and quite time to enjoy the universe.

Ich bin begeistert und finde es schade, dass ich nur eine Nacht bleiben konnte. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Internet schnell. Das Beste war aber das Personal, für deren Hilfsbereitschaft ich mich nicht genug bedanken kann. Sei es ein kurzer Anruf beim Taxi, um verlorene Gegenstände wiederzubeschaffen, Gepäckaufbewahrung für mehrere Tage oder die Möglichkeit kurz zu duschen nach einer Uyuni-Tour haben den Aufenthalt ganz besonders gemacht.

Wenn man früh morgens los muss, sollte vorher kurz geklärt werden, ob warmes Wasser zur Verfügung steht.

Podczas drugiego pobytu mieliśmy ogromny, bardzo dobrze wyposażony apartament z trzema sypialniami, z salonem i kuchnią, dający calkowitą niezależność. Pokoje są skromnie urządzone, ale jest w nich wszystko co potrzebne, gorąca woda dostępna jest całą dobę, jest bardzo czysto, gospodyni oferuje zmianę ręczników czy też posprzątanie pokoju na życzenie, można oddać rzeczy do prania za bardzo korzystną cenę. .Wifi dobrze działa w całym obiekcie, a wspólna kuchnia jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona, w lodówce półki są podpisane numerami pokojów co pomaga zachować porządek. Die Lage war super, um nach einem anstrengenden Tag etwas rubterzukommen jnd insbesondere die Aussicht auf den Vulkan war jedes Mal aufs neue einfach magisch. Die Vermieterin ist der netteste Mensch, den wir auf unserer Reise haben kennenlernen dürfen und hat wirklich alles getan um unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit, die wirklich top war. Wemn es uns mal wieder in die Atacama Wüste verschlägt, kommen wir definitiv zurück.

從馬路到住處要走2分鐘暗巷，交通車或接泊車都不開進去，路面不平，拉行李很費力，若是預約local tour, 需提早在大馬路邊等。毛毯太厚重且太硬，晚上很冷，不易入眠。入住後才告知房間不能洗衣服，對旅人來說，很不方便

This was a lovely and peaceful place. Veronica was very kind and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was an extra blanket. I did not use the shower but it looked clean. It was nice to share the kitchen with just one other room. It's about a 10 minute walk to the center. I highly recommend and would have stayed longer if there had been availability.

Relaxed place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the town with a fab view. Lovely welcoming staff. Shared kitchen was great as had all facilities needed to cook too. Lovely HOT shower too!!

Verónica súper atenta. Cualquier cosa que necesitamos nos la facilitó sin problema ( toallas, información …) Las vistas desde la habitación eran bonitas y genial la posibilidad de usar una hamaca. Había un trayecto de 7 minutos caminando a la calle principal.

Quarto espaçoso e bem iluminado. cozinha compartilhada boa. tinha 2 no local. mesa de ping pong, churrasqueira. uma rede.

Por vezes o chuveiro esfriava, segundo o pessoal era perda de pressão na cidade. Na cozinha anexa nao tinha microondas. o barulho do portão or vezes incomoda, pois as pessoas entrem e saem com regularidade de carro em horários muito cedo. o pátio parecia desorganizado, feio. havia plantação de milho e um trator estava a trabalhar. embora não seja muito longe do centro, o percurso a pé é bem movimentado e empoeirado. fica num beco que quase nenhuma wan de passeio quer entrar.

Boa localização, cerca de 10min de caminhada até a rua principal. Fomos muito bem atendidos pela Maira, que foi muito gentil conosco. Também adoramos suas recomendações de lugares para comer. Ótimo custo benefício com quartos confortáveis e cobertores quentinhos.

The hotel staff is very kind, quiet and chilled place

I stayed at Casa los Duentes for 8 nights and rate it as an excellent place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama. It is a 10-minute stroll from the town centre, which is nice as it feels like a haven. The room was very spacious and kept incredibly clean by Mayra. She was very attentive and offered to clean the room every second day, doing an excellent job. The view of the mountains from the room (room 6) was incredible to wake up to every morning! I was even pleasantly surprised to have a gorgeous flock of chickens congregating outside my room one afternoon. My showers were hot every day, with excellent water pressure. The shared kitchen is also very spacious and well-equipped, and I found this very useful during my stay as I preferred to cook more than eat out. Tea and coffee and some other food staples are also provided in the kitchen. Mayra provided a laundry service which was very efficient (same day pickup and drop off to room) and excellent value (3000CLP p/kg). Mayra was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay, allowing me to store my luggage after check-out, and also letting me wait in the kitchen until my bus to the airport arrived. Overall I highly recommend Casa los Duentes: it is a beautiful humble property and excellent value, and I would like to say a huge thanks to Mayra for making my stay so pleasant.

Magical oasis! I stayed here for 6 nights and was so sad to leave. The owners are so lovely. Perfect location, spotlessly clean large rooms with well equipped shared kitchen. Full size refrigerator and stove and even an electric kettle :). It is just around the corner from Caracoles but feels miles away when you sit on your patio and look at the Volcano over the garden. There is also another beautiful dining area in the garden that looks like a pretty greenhouse with a solid roof if you want to eat inside with a view. I found myself preferring to eat at my patio table/or “greenhouse” and just enjoy the serenity, even with all the great restaurants in town. And the Stars! Amazing :). Highly, highly recommend. I had a car and parking inside the property gate is very secure and convenient.
