Habitación y baño pequeños y mal climatizados. Hacía bastante frío y nos prestaron un calefactor. El edificio y las instalaciones precisan de renovación.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Le stanze sono piccolissime, il letto non è molto comodo e il bagno è minuscolo, ma in questo hotel si ha la rara opportunità di essere letteralmente circondati dai colibrì. Ce ne sono di almeno 25 specie diverse e grazie a dei bottoni con dentro del succo, ti si posano sulle mani. Un'esperienza meravigliosa! Di notte fa freddo, ma ci sono dei caloriferi portatali che tengono abbastanza calda la stanza. Le terme sono motlo scenografiche ma avrebbero bisogno di una maggiore manutenzione. Nel complesso però, grazie anche all'ottimo ristorante, è un hotel che consiglio sopratutto per coloro che intendono visitare il parco del Nevado del Ruiz.
La strada sterrata di 7 km è un po' pericolosa per chi non ha un 4x4, andrebbe specificato meglio in fase id prenotazione.

El colchón de la cama ya está deformado por el uso; el piso del corredor de arriba ya está deteriorado. Una noche tuvimos a unos vecinos de cuarto hablando duro hasta altas horas de la noche y el aislamiento de sonido entre los cuartos no es el mejor.

The rooms are a bit smallish. No space for your luggage and or place your items.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Es un lugar hermoso y tranquilo. La interacción con los colibrís es única, los senderos te llevan a cascadas y miradores espectaculares. La habitación es cómoda y las agua termales para los huéspedes son suficientes para asegurar privacidad y disfrute. En el menú del restaurante descargable la carne stroganof y el club sandwich
Algunos platos de la carta. Particularmente algunas salsas que creo podrían ser mejores la del pollo con champiñones o la de panela del cerdo. Escuché a varios huéspedes tener problemas con la pasta.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026We had a wonderful stay! What we loved most was the location. The hotel is beautifully set in the mountains, surrounded by stunning scenery, making it an incredibly peaceful and relaxing place. The facilities are amazing, everything is well maintained, and the atmosphere is simply incredible. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was beautiful. Having our own private jacuzzi was a fantastic experience, and the suite itself was spacious and comfortable. We’d also like to give special kudos to the staff, especially Mauricio and Daniela. They went above and beyond to help us when our kids became sick due to the altitude, and we truly appreciated the hotel’s flexibility and support during that situation. Their kindness and care made a difficult moment much easier for our family.
The only downside was that the Presidential Suite has just one bathroom. We were two adults and four kids, so it wasn’t the most practical setup for our family. That’s more of a planning issue on our part than a fault of the hotel. Next time, we’ll probably book several standard rooms instead—they’ll likely be more practical for our family and probably more affordable too.

La ubicacion, NO QUEDA CERCA DE MURILLO, esta a UNA HORA Y MEDIA DEL PUEBLO, la carretera es espantosa, destapada, y muy oscura. El hotel no tiene VIGILANCIA en la noche si algo pasa no hay como recibir alguna atencion.

Vi lugares un poco abandonados que por el precio del alojamiento merecen más atención. En el segundo piso en el pasillo hay una pared muy fea, en la habitación 211 que fue donde me hospedé también la pared de del baño hacia el TV tiene una parte determinada, y la cabina del baño tiene mucho hongo tiene muchas.partes negras.

No hay prioridad para el huésped en los recorridos. Fuimos en pareja y no logramos obtener un bebedero para tener la experiencia de tener contacto con el colibrí. Sin embargo, fuimos a recepción a solicitar uno y nos lo facilitaron. Pero si deberían cambiar este aspecto porque es difícil tener la experiencia completa sin las herramientas necesarias. También podrían ampliar un poco el tamaño de las habitaciones.

Llegar hasta allá hay que hacerlo por una carretera destapada. Son aprox 4 km de destapada, obviamente no es culpa del hotel, pero ojalá arreglaran la vía para mejorar el acceso. En especial para carros bajos.

You can relax by the pool and enjoy a drink while taking in the spectacular views. The gardens and pool areas are filled with beautiful birds and butterflies, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere. Best of all, the pools are never crowded. Whether you're traveling alone or with your partner, you can enjoy a quiet and intimate experience in these small private pools. Our room was quite small, but that wasn't an issue at all since we spent most of our time enjoying the pools and the restaurant and garden. The room was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a good night's rest.
Since we don't speak Spanish, communication at the reception was a little challenging. We weren't able to get information about how long we would need to wait, which caused some uncertainty during our arrival.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The location is close to Nevado del Ruiz park. The mushroom sauce is pretty good. One waiter tried to give us options that fit our diets. Another added wood to the fire since we were cold. Accommodated us to have a first floor room. Thermal pools were available most of the time. Coffee was available in the morning.
Disappointed! We've been to Termales del Ruiz a number of times since 2016 and happy with our stay until this year. There was no welcome coffee. We were not provided with hummingbird hand feeders. The bird guides only conducted tours for people who are not birders and had limited knowledge. On the "tour" the guide had only 4 hand hummingbird feeders for 11 people. We were told to share... There were so many people few hummers came to hand feeders. Our room was cramped and had only 5 inches of space between the left side of the bed and the wall making it difficult to get in bed. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. The window in the bathroom doesn't close well/seal and lets cold air in. This was the same as last year and has yet to be fixed. The shower didn't shut off completely. Pools need to be cleaned and resealed since there are chunks of finish missing all over them. The food was very salty. It's better to let guests salt their own food to taste. Coffee is no longer available most of the day. We were given a 1/4 roll of toilet paper for 3 days. We had to find someone to open the gate each time we wanted to drive out. We are birders and have repeatedly gone to Temales del Ruiz for the uniqueness of service, expert guides and the hand held hummingbird feeders. We can go elsewhere for thermal baths and bird watching...

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026We stayed in the cabaña for three days for our honeymoon and had such an amazing time. The private hot spring with a view of the valley and Manizales was incredible. Food was great, and staff were professional. It's hard to believe this place exists! You get to just walk around in the beautiful cloud forest and be surrounded by hummingbirds. The cabaña was a huge splurge for us, but it was so romantic! Take the opportunity to hike down to the waterfall!

El transporte es complejo, toca pagar bastante para que te lleven si no cuentas con algo propio. En mi caso alquilé una moto tipo scooter y nos fue mal porque la mitad de la carretera para llegar al hotel está destapada y en bajada. No sabíamos que de 7 km la mitad estaría así. Entonces tuvimos muchos problemas para llegar porque nos deslizábamos y de regreso tocó contratar una grúa para poder sacarla.

Estebábamos en una mini suite en el primer piso y el ruido del segundo piso era insoportable y algunas de las paredes exteriores presentan grietas de manera considerable que en algún momento podrían poner en riesgo la integridad de los huéspedes.
