Zimmer sehr einfach, etwas alt. Strasse gut hörbar. Beim geschlossenen Fenster ok. Frühstück etwas dürftig, nur Toastbroat und kein frisches Brot, wenig Tee-Auswahl.

Thor was an amazing host, and we were genuinely impressed by how beautifully he has maintained the place. He was always happy to help and offer recommendations whenever we needed them. His breakfast is definitely something to look forward to — such a lovely way to start the day! Thor is also a man with plenty of experiences and stories to share, which made our stay even more memorable. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely return to stay at Jølster again!

Très bon accueil, cuisine pour préparer son repas ou petit déjeuner, café et thé dans la chambre et surtout un petit-déjeuner très copieux et de bonne qualité. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Parking à disposition.

Camera molto grande e confortevole con letto credo king size, abbiamo dormito nel mezzo con un bimbo di 9 mesi. Colazione ottima e ben assortita. Una piacevole scoperta per una struttura che doveva essere solo un tappa intermedia del nostro viaggio. Consigliatissima

Les instal·lacions un poc antigues, els llits no eren molt còmodes. Hi ha habitacions que tenen el bany separat d l'habitació. En el nostre cas, el bany era dins però molt petit.

Rispetto ad altre strutture che ho incontrato in Norvegia, per questo prezzo direi che è una buona scelta. Avevamo una camera matrimoniale con bagno privato esterno, entrambi puliti e ordinati. La cucina condivisa era pulita e aveva una bella finestra con vista sul lago.
In generale, tutta la struttura, comprese le camere, potrebbe essere ammodernata e riarredata con maggiore cura.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Struttura molto accogliente e carina. Dentro si presenta curata e molto pulita. È possibile mangiare in sala da pranzo con vista lago, molto bello e suggestivo. Le camere sono piccole, carine ed accoglienti. Sicuramente il bagno è piccolo, non sempre comodo per chi magari ha un'altezza importante, ma la vista dal mio punto di vista ripaga (così tutte le altre cose positive). Pulito, letto comodo; abbiamo dormito bene e ci siamo riposati. Prima di arrivare abbiamo ricevuto un messaggio con tutte le informazioni necessarie, chiare e semplici. La cucina è condivisa quindi ognuno deve lavare ed asciugare ciò che usa, come è giusto che sia. Questo denota per me una grande cura e rispetto verso la propria casa/struttura. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Tutto perfetto per noi, grazie ❤️

Obiekt jest trochę jak internat w dawnych czasach. Jest bardzo skromnie. Łazienki są na korytarzu (ale to łazienka przypisana do pokoju). Jest dosyć głośno w nocy, bo budynek stoi przy ulicy.

The biggest minus was the nasty surprise about the bathroom. We booked a room with a private bathroom. We got a private bathroom which was located out of the room. We needed an access code for the bathroom... The doors were squeaking loudly and if you had to use the bathroom at night you would wake everyone up... The whole place is really a hostel grade accommodation; given the price this is ok. But it is rather misleading to call this a private bathroom.

140€ für ein sogenanntes Superior finde ich auch für Skandinavien viel zu hoch. Das Haus selbst ist ein altes und müßte dringend renoviert werden. Das Haus liegt an der E39 oder E11 die gut befahren ist und hat kein sogenannten Flüsterasphalt was auch im Haus deutlich zu hören ist wenn Autos vorbei fahren.

Situé juste à côté d'une route nationale, on entend beaucoup les voitures qui passent. De plus la chambre est un peu petite, et la salle d'eau est minuscule : il est compliqué de s'asseoir sur les toilettes quand on a fermé la porte coulissante !

Douche, wc en kamer veel te klein. Zeker voor die prijs. Ook onduidelijk dat je het ontbijt extra moet betalen. Staat dat bij alle opties ontbijt inbegrepen is.

The beds were tiny. We had a twin room, and both beds were really small. I felt like I was going to fall out every time I turned. The mattress was way too soft. It’s close to the road, and there was a lot of noise from cars.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Das Frühstück ist okay gewesen. Die Lage an einer Durchgangsstraße mit Blick auf den See. Die beiden Betreiber dieser Unterkunft sind sehr freundlich gewesen, wohl wissend, was sie den Touris anbieten.
Modergeruch im Zimmer; sehr kleines Bad und ein zerbrochener Beistelltisch im Zimmer. Bei diesem Haus handelt es sich um ein altes Gebäude, das offenbar zu diesem Zweck umgestaltet worden ist. Es wird überwiegend von Rucksacktouristen und Bikern aufgesucht. Allerdings verirren sich auch andere Touris in dieses Haus, weil die Beschreibung im Internet irreführend ist. Unser Zimmer hat sehr stark vermodert gerochen; das Bad ist winzig klein gewesen. Da der Zimmerpreis vor Anreise bezahlt werden musste, ist eine Weiterfahrt ausgeschlossen gewesen.

Minuscolo lavandino accanto al letto con sopra una rastrelliera con qualche stampella, ma o si appendevano i vestiti o ci si lavava Ma soprattutto bagno indicibile, praticamente un armadio trasformato con doccia e water davanti alla porta che non si poteva chiudere perché sbattevano le ginocchia. Das Frühstück ist für eine einfache Unterkunft außergewöhnlich, der Frühstücksraum wunderbar und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zugänglich, die Gespräche mit ihm waren Höhepunkte unseres Aufenthaltes.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Ci aspettavamo un codice per entrare, ma siamo stati accolti dal padrone di casa, che ci attendeva nel bel giardino ricco di sedute di questa bella casa rossa. Gentilissimo, ci ha illustrato le due entrate dall'esterno e ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili per il soggiorno. La nostra stanza era ampia, pulitissima e con uno splendido affaccio sul lago. Zona tranquillissima, nonostante la strada di fronte, con una bella ciclabile per una passeggiata, un giro in bici od un po' di jogging. I servizi sono a 5' d'auto, compresa la stazione di ricarica elettrica. Ottima colazione il mattino seguente nella sala dedicata. Parcheggio davanti all'abitazione (molto piccolo, ma siamo riusciti a trovare posto). Se cercate una zona tranquilla in mezzo al verde fronte lago, così come ci si dovrebbe godere la Norvegia, siete nel posto giusto

Por decir algo no había secador de pelo, pero tampoco lo hemos pedido.

Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft verschweigt, dass das "eigene Badezimmer" ein kleiner Raum gegenüber dem Zimmer über den Hotelflur ist, der nur mit einem Zahlencode zu öffnen ist. Zurück zum eigentlichen Zimmer ist wieder für den Zugang ein Zahlencode erforderlich. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist in die Jahre gekommen, so funktionierte der Geschirrspüler nicht. Das Frühstückszimmer konnten wir nicht in Augenschein nehmen, der Gastgeber hat bei der Begrüßung gesagt, das wäre jetzt abgeschlossen und somit nicht zugänglich! Nach der Besichtigung, die mit etlichen Erläuterungen der Hausregeln begleitet war, haben wir auf einen Aufenthalt verzichtet. Hinzu kommt, dass die Hotelzimmer von dem Durchgangsverkehr "beschallt" werden.
