Opik Homestay Tete Batu

La chambre et le lit sont grands et confortables, il y a un espace pour poser et suspendre ses affaires. Le personnel est disponible et très agréable. Il y a de l’eau chaude! Le lieu est reposant. J’ai pu manger dans ma chambre et la nourriture était bonne. Malheureusement j’ai eu mauvais temps donc je n’ai pas pu explorer les alentours.

Avec le mauvais temps, la chambre était extrêmement humide les affaires ne séchaient pas et le sèche cheveux n’était pas assez puissant. Il n’y avait pas de savon/shampooing dans la salle de bain et pas d’étagère pour les poser. Et en effet il y a plusieurs mosquées autour, penser bien à prendre des boules quies (avec j’ai très bien dormi)

If you’re are looking for the most beautiful local experiance, then this is a must do on your trip to Tetebatu! Price/quality 10 out of 10! The area 15 out of 10! The people 20 out of 10! They will make you feel at home from the first moment and they will give you an experiance you’ve never had before! From music, to campfires with fresh chicken, playing pool together, see the ricefields etc. and lots more! So don’t look at the review from the German guy. He probably doesn’t enjoy life!

Alle vom Team waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und unterstützend. Das hat den Aufenthalt sehr aufgewertet.

Hele lieve familie en mooie kamer

Hote super accueillant et au petit soin. La chambre est très bien, spacieuse avec une salle de bain extérieure. Nous voulions un logement perdu au milieu des rizières et de la forêt et c'est ce que nous avons eu. Il cuisine super bien le sate pusuk etait le meilleur de notre voyage.

Un bungalow que pour toi, à côté de la maison de Opik et de son restaurant avec une fabuleuse terrasse, vue sur les champs L accueil est extraordinaire. Une famille trés attachante et respectueuse. La chambre est très agréable et calme. Avec des détails de décoration sympa. Propreté impeccable. La salle d’eau est parfaite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Le petit déjeuner est inclus et délicieux 😋 Bien que la maison soit isolée du village quelques boutiques sont accessibles à pied. Une cascade peu fréquentée se trouve à moins de 20mn. Et tout le tour «  terrasses de riz, cascades et forêt des singes »se fait à pied depuis le logement. On a été très bien reçu. Ardy s’est proposé pour être notre guide et quel guide interessant. On a eu la possibilité de louer un scooter 🛵. Vraiment je recommande ce logement et son environnement.

Lage in den Reisfeldern ist top 👍 Ruhige Lage wie auf Lombok eben ruhig ist 😅 also man hört den Dschungel, die Moscheen und die Tiere halt aber keinen Straßenlärm oder so. Opik ist sehr nett und sehr hilfreich für alle Belange.

L’emplacement en pleine nature, avec les rizières face à la chambre , l’accueil de Opik qui a pris le temps de venir discuter un peu avec nous , tout cela nous a permis de passer deux jours agréables à jeruk malis.

Lombok est majoritèrement de religion musulmane et les muezzins nombreux dans la région ont agrémenté notre séjour de leurs prières ...rendant les réveils un peu trop matinaux.

Toujours le personnel au petit soin. Mention spécial pour Ardy qui nous à servie de guide. Souriant, amoureux de son village, curieux et son plaisir de partager fait vraiment du bien.

Opik

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Opik. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Villagetour mit Ardy, der nicht nur ein super Tourguide war, sondern auch lecker kochen kann. Die Bungalows sind zwischen Reisfeldern, was wir als besonders schön empfanden.

Le logement est spacieux, bien décoré au calme au milieu des Rizières Nourriture délicieuse. Excursion super à la journee ricefields cascades top avec Ardy. Opik et sa famille sont géniaux. Nous avons passé un super sejour. Je recommande!

Rien tout etait parfait !

Einfache aber saubere Unterkunft. Sehr nette Familie! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und wurde frisch für uns zubereitet. Die Lage ist etwas vom Dorf entfernt was wir sehr genossen haben. Ideal um dann auch in die Reisfelder zu gehen. Ein super Ort! Wir hatten Ardi als Reiseführer dabei.

A basic but very large room overlooking the rice fields, which were visited by the locale monkeys! Nice quiet area and a basic breakfast was served in a beautiful garden overlooking mount Ranjani.

Unfassbar freundliche Besitzer! Das Frühstück und auch das Mittag- oder Abendessen waren köstlich. Die Unterkunft und die komplette Anlage wird mit Herz gepflegt, wir haben uns jederzeit super wohl gefühlt. Ohne aufdringlich zu sein, hat uns Opik über umliegende Aktivitäten aufgeklärt und informiert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Fussläufig ist die ein oder andere Sehenswürdigkeit doch etwas weiter entfernt, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat.

Very nice quiet homestay! The owner is very friendly and will assist as good as he can. Very delicious food as well. Can only recommend staying here.

Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch zwischen Reisfeldern und Bananenbäumen perfekt, um dem Trubel zu entfliehen und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Tetebatu ist generell ein wunderschöner Ort zum Abschalten. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und auch das Abendessen vor Ort war sehr lecker. Optik ist unglaublich herzlich und jederzeit da, wenn man Fragen hat, wodurch wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Und Dobby, der Hund, ist einfach Zucker! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Notre séjour à Tetebatu était vraiment fabuleux, en grande partie grace à Opik ! Il était adorable, aux petits soins et nous a fait découvrir sa belle région. Les chambres et salles de bains sont propres et confortables, au milieu des rizières. Le restaurant est excellent et les prix bas ! Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés !

L’eau etait plutôt froide même une fois le gaz racheté 🙃 Les équipements sont très minimalistes …un lit et un semblant de table 😉 Opik n’était pas du tout disponible nous l avons à peine vu nous étions fort déçus car vu les commentaires nous étions venus pour la rencontre avec lui Nous avons alors compris …il se mariait 2 jours plus tard et était très occupé Il s’en est excusé et a délégué auprès de ses amis qui se sont rendus disponibles pour nous faire découvrir les alentours et la culture locale

Sûrement la meilleure adresse de Lombok. D'une part parce que l'endroit est sublime, la région comme le logement, qui est très confortable, spacieux et propre. Mais surtout parce qu'Opik est une personne incroyable. Il est très serviable, doué de ses mains et c'est un bonheur de discuter avec lui. D'autant plus qu'il s'entoure de personnes absolument géniales, entre Hardy qui a été un guide merveilleux et qui cuisine comme un dieu, Ilham qui est très serviable et sa mère qui est un véritable amour ! Seul regret : ne pas être restée plus longtemps. On s'y sent comme chez soi !

Clean rooms, extremely friendly family and Opik has a friend for all occasions! We were very well looked after and did some great excursions. Everything we needed and wanted was taken care of.

We were very happy here. Only thing I might suggest is some easily moveable chairs! (We were a party of 4 but the rooms are set out more for couples so outdoor seating for 2 only)

Opik and his family were super friendly! It was up in the hills with its own rice terraces which was very relaxing. We asked if we could help with the cooking for one of the meals and basically got a little cooking class. Such a cute experience! Whenever we needed something or had questions about the area, we could just message Opik and he would respond very fast. We were going to Bangsal Harbor after and Opik put us in touch with a friend of his who was already driving there and we got an insanely good price! (Less than half of what chatGPT said was fair) Loved it, would highly recommend this place :)

Hot water wasn’t working sometimes, but Opik fixed it quickly!

Opik er en frisk vært og også en god guide. Han taler godt engelsk. Opiks familie er venlige og maden er noget af det bedste vi har fået efter 1 måned rundt i Indonesien. Sengene i begge huse er også gode! Vi håber, Opil får sine drømme opfyldt om at bygge sit Home Stay større så længe oplevelsen er lige så fantastisk 😀 Vi anbefaler turen med Opik til rismarkerne og to vandfald. Husk gode vandresko og klipklappere til vandfald/vandvandring 👌

Opik is a great guy who put a lot of love into this special place. Had a great time there with his friends around. Great meals, monkey visits in the morning and so much serenity. If you want to have an authentic experience, definitely go there!

A beautiful Homestay in all senses of the word; in stunning landscape, it’s a true immersion in rural living. Facilities are simple and clean and enough for anyone who wants to escape the tourist towns and resorts on much of the island. Mt Rinjani looms just to the north, making it a great base camp to start your trek to summit; and you will be in easy walking distance of a number of beautiful waterfalls which we enjoyed swimming in. Opik is the best host - full of energy and keenness to ensure a perfect stay. Having been born and grown up in the village he has huge knowledge of the area and his community. Walking with him through the rice fields is an incredible education which I’ll never forget back in London when I devour my tikka masala ignoring the work that went into my rice. Food is great and simple - the fresh eggs and fruit complimenting fresh vegetables and more. A perfect place to nourish the body mind and soul. Thankyou Opik and family.

Beautiful location and lovely room. Opik and his family were all so kind and cooked delicious food. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. Opik took us out for the day and showed us the local market, businesses and waterfalls. It was amazing. We honestly can’t wait to come back!

Opik and his family were so so nice, we had food poisoning (not from Opik, we had it for a week already) and they were so helpful in finding a doctor. Many tours available and we were sad we could not do them.

Not always comfortable places to chill and hang outside of the room. We would have liked a lampshade.

We stayed with Opik and his family for 1 night and had the best time! He and his family are so kind. We had all of our meals there and you could taste the love. Opik had some recommendations for things to do and arranged a walking tour through the ricefields and waterfalls for us with his friend, had a lot of fun. Would definitely come back!!

We recommend staying at Opik's 100% We where welcomed like we were part of the family and shown true Sasak hospitality. Ina cooked some delicious local dishes that we hadn't tried elsewhere. The air up in the mountains is much cooler than on the coast which we greatly appreciated. The room is brand new, spacious, has a comfortable bed and the coolest shower/bathroom I have seen in Indonesia. Close to multiple waterfalls, and a good place to start a trek up the mountain. Opik is a great guy, plays guitar,speaks great english and has lots to tell about life around tete batu. Really impressed with what he has started to build up there. We had an amazing time at Opik! Thumbs up for the fresh coconut and Opik’s mama’s incredible cooking skills. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and fresh air.

Very comfortable bed, spacious room, friendly host, small breakfast included, it's possible to rent a bicycle and scooter, quiet enough considering all the mosques around, serene in nature, no mosquitoes

Overall a lack of comfort. There is no proper table to sit at and use a laptop or eat at the room. The bathroom and balcony have raw stones with dirt (!) instead of a proper floor. Also when it rained you got completely wet going to the room (through the grass/mud). When I was there, the whole area was a big construction site, so the public space couldn't be used. Also the builders made noise, of course. Bare light bulbs everywhere, no decoration whatsoever. WiFi didn't work a few times, 3 times the water was off because someone disconnected the water pump. The outside of the toilet wasn't cleaned although I asked for it. Also the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, neither was the sink. The place is a bit far away from everything if you have no bike/bicycle. Also be aware there might be no Grab available! Price: 270k a night (February price) is too high considering the lack of comfort and things that didn't work. No drinking water provided. Bring earplugs and use them before falling asleep, annoying mosques around. Opik was understanding of the things that didn't work and gave me a small reimbursement, thanks for that. I'm sure most guests who left a 10 rating where given an incentive to do so. This may be the first authentic review

We had the most amazing time at Opik Homestay! We were welcomed like we were family by Opik and his mother. Upon arriving we didn’t know what we were going to do. Opik arranged two beautiful days for us (guided walking tour through the surrounding villages with rice fields, monkey forest, spices and waterfalls and also a great hike with Opik). And then the food… 😍🤤 we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with Opik and it was the best Indonesian food we had in Indonesia. We could taste the love and warmth. By the way, the room was big, clean and had a very nice view. Don’t think twice, just book a night (but we recommend two or more).

Opik is an amazing and young dynamic and open-minded person, it was great to meet him and discover his beautiful village. I hope to be back soon

I loved staying at this place! 😊 The room is very pretty and clean and the bed is super comfortable. When you get up in the morning you are in the middle of green and you hear the relaxing sounds of nature. The food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) is incredibly delicious and one of the best meals I have ever tried in Indonesia and also very affordable. But the best was the owner Opik: an incredible kind and funny person who could tell me so much about Indonesian culture, religion and food. I felt welcomed from the minute I arrived at this place. I also took two trips with him, both of which were very beautiful and very affordable. His family and friends are also incredibly friendly and he has two puppies that are super cute. I would recommend staying at this place to everyone!

All meals were freshly made every day either by a friend of Opik or his mother. It was a homestay so we chatted to the family about their lives and ours. Opik is a guide and while he look us on some trips he was also booked by others. When he wasn't available he left us with his friends whose English was great. We expect people to get on with their lives at a homestay. Its work in progress and was good to see. Its within walking distance of the national park, which is great value.O Opik arranged a driver for us which was very helpful. His local knowledge was great

I recommend 100% Opik Homestay! The room was big, clean, with a beautiful bathroom and new bedding. Opik is very kindful, helpful and eager to share his experience and best recommendations to visit Tetebatu. The food is also very good, for breakfast or lunch/diner. The area is beautiful and perfect for people looking for nature and local culture. I am sure this place will become the place to be in Tetebatu, as Opik is a talented and determined entrepreneur. I wish him all the best and I know he will succeed in this project to make his homestay a great place for tourists!

Nothing wrong to share

Staying with Opik was wonderful. He took his time explaining us the process of rice and showing us the land. He and also his friend were really kind. The room was clean and really comfortable. It was a place I could relax in and discover the culture.

**Review: A Stay at Opik Homestay** Staying at Opik Homestay is an absolute must for anyone, regardless of age. Opik is not only an exceptional host but also the best guide you could ask for. He introduces you to the sides of Indonesia that you wouldn't typically see as a tourist. One of the highlights was learning about traditional sarong making. We even had the chance to try them on, which was fantastic. Our adventures didn't stop there. We went mountain climbing, visited the monkey forest, and saw how locals weave baskets and bags. I even got to try my hand at weaving, which was an incredible experience. This stay was undeniably the highlight of our entire vacation in Bali and Lombok. The food at Opik Homestay is delicious, and the accommodation is both clean and beautiful. We will definitely return, but next time for a longer stay. Beyond the wonderful experiences, we have also gained a friend. Thank you, Opik, for everything!

My stay should have been longer.

Fantastic local experience. Newly opened so needs a few finishing touches. The bungalow was large, clean and very calming. Had a great sleep, comfortable bed and cool temperature. The best part was the staff. Opik, did a tour of the area with us at a great price 200k per person. Then he took us to the local markets and fish farm to buy our dinner and cooked over coals that night. Even got some vegetables from his garden ! Oh and shouldn’t forget the price. Bargain!!

Not a lot, some art or something in the bungalow would finish it off, but early days and I’m sure he will finish it off nicely.
