One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. Stay away. We booked this apartment for several nights but left after the very first night because staying there was simply impossible. The listing creates the impression of a clean, comfortable and private apartment. The reality was completely different. The main bedroom was located in a damp basement with a strong smell of mold and humidity. The air was heavy, the room smelled musty, and even the bedding felt damp. Sleeping there was extremely uncomfortable. The entire property had an unpleasant smell, including the bathrooms. The apartment also did not feel private. We discovered another man staying in the same building, something that was never made clear before booking. As travelers, this made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The kitchen and freezer contained the host’s personal food and belongings. The entrance was cluttered with bicycles and other items, several doors did not close properly, and overall the property felt neglected rather than professionally prepared for guests. The neighborhood also made us feel uncomfortable, especially late in the evening and at night. We personally did not feel safe walking around the area, so if you are traveling with family or valuables, I would recommend researching the location carefully before booking. After only one night we left and had to find another accommodation at our own expense. We lost valuable vacation time and a significant amount of money. We contacted Booking.com many times and even proposed a fair compromise. We agreed to pay for the first night we had already stayed and simply asked for a refund for the remaining unused nights. The host refused every compromise. Instead of acknowledging the problems or trying to resolve the situation, the host repeatedly denied everything, blamed us for leaving, and relied only on the non-refundable cancellation policy while ignoring the actual condition of the accommodation.

Tout était parfait, les hôtes sont extrêmement disponibles, gentils, aux petits soins. Le nombre de WC et de salles de bains est plus qu'appreciable et les nombreux équipements sont géniaux.

Nothing is correct in this ad; - just 2 bedrooms not 3 - cats just walking through the place - not on 1 floor, but basement and ground floor - door cannot be properly locked

La propreté et la la disponibilité de tous les ustensiles et même les épices. Le prix nous a laissé même du thé du café en abondance.

Les deux chambres n’étaient pas réellement des chambres, il y avait une chambre dans la cave et l’autre c’était un semblant de Cuisine réaménagé en chambre. C’est vrai qu’il y avait beaucoup d’espace mais pas l’espace de chambre.

De très nombreux équipements mis à disposition, voir même plus qu'on ne l'imagine. L'accueil est franchement au top ! Très serviable !

On entend les locataires du dessus marcher et parfois discuter, mais le propriétaire a rapidement fait le nécessaire pour améliorer la situation.

Logement vraiment exceptionnel pour la qualité des équipements et la grande taille, décoré avec soin. Tout est prévu, y compris une multitude de casseroles et de couverts. Joli jardin tout en longueur avec coin repos aménagé, grande chambre avec lits confortables au rdc. Deux petites chambres au sous-sol. Parking privé à côté de la maison.

Dommage, les chambres au sous-sol n'ont pas de fenêtres.

Very Nice and comfortable facilities, has washer and dryer, very responsive owner, beautiful garden and patio, fully equipped kitchen.

The bedrooms are in the basement and there is no way to lock the door going to the basement only each room’s door. The parking on the street is very limited and if you happen to find a spot its only for four hours so you can’t go downtown and leave the car in the street. We ended up paying 6 euro a day for public parking.

Very large one bedroom apartment. Nice kitchen with parking for one car.

Only one real bed, the rest is hard couches or air mattress. Posting says electric car charger, but in reality you have to go to a pay charger a couple of blocks away.

Quite close to the city center of Vilvoorde

The bedrooms in the basement were not so nice and only accessible from the central corridor.

It’s really big apartment with fully equipped kitchen. We stayed just for two nights and we didn’t use the basement floor, terrace and garden. The owner was always in contact with us, helpful and friendly. We didn’t know how to regulate the heating and first night was little bit cold. But then this problem was solved. Highly recommend.

There was some noise from upper floor at night, like someone always running, which bothered and interfered with sleep.
