住在頂樓要爬好多階的樓梯，洗澡的冷熱水比較不好調。

Great hostel, nice staff and owner! Beautiful clean rooms and I would definitely recommend taking the surf lessons as well.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The surf lessons were amazing and made the stay even better.

The staff who work for Afei are so kind and helpful. I met loads of nice people at the hostel which was also great, and l had a really great weekend there because of these things.

Although the surf lesson with Afei was good, in general I found his demeanour towards guests quite uncomfortable. There were issues with the hostel/hotel not recording correctly when people had paid money, and then Afei could publicly accuse people of not paying (when they had) in front of other guests. He also made comments about some of the young women there being 'beautiful' amongst other suggestive comments that were uncomfortable and not what you would want when you stay at a hotel.

Interesting decor and design of the room. The location was great, close to the beach. Friendly staff.

In the 2 bedroom house with private garden, we wish there was an indoor lounge room for us to be gather together. The bathroom floor was always wet, poor ventilation.

The rooms were very clean, beds were extremely comfortable, friendly staff, great amenities available, AC worked well and the overall aesthetic was very cool with great location and a back door entrance close to parking.

We picked the property for its outdoor shared space, unfortunately there was an overwhelming rotting smell, there was one sofa that was extremely moldy which caused sinus reactions within minutes of sitting on it and there was no hammock, other cushions or chairs to sit on.

Everything was about as perfect as can be for a hostel. Even the bed was tall enough for a dutch guy like me 1.94m

Afei is an amazing host and our family really enjoyed the experience staying there. We felt very welcome and will definitely come back!

There isn’t anything we did not like about our stay

The breakfast was very good, but not included in the price and the food at the restaurant for dinner was tasty. The room was quirky and full of character but the shower was a little hard to adjust to the right temperature and hot water took a long time. Close to the beach and a short distance from a 7-11.

The road noise when we were on the balcony was quite loud (but inside the room it was OK) and the 'hot tub' on the balcony wasn't really a hot tub at all because it had no hot water availability.

An incredible hostel with amazing staff! The owner, Afei, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The first floor is a restaurant/bar/social area, and they offer surf lessons with great instructors

A very relaxed and lazy hostel in a perfectly location which is easy to get to from Kaohsiung! Lot’s of facilities snd services to fit your needs and a uniquely chilled yet vibrant atmosphere.

Good location next to nanwan beach, surf rentals, fun staff (if you speak chinese), front area becomes quite a social bar in the evening. Nice indonesian style private room facing beach.

Bar area can be quite loud, and it's next to main road. Bathroom was a wet room and had drainage issues so was often flooded. Not too cheap but I think decent for Kenting. Surf in nanwan wasn't great when I visited, better to go to jialeshui probably. Heard the dorms are quite small.
