Villa Hiisi Lapland Aurora Riverside

Die Lage war perfekt, der Fluss direkt vor dem Haus. Das Haus war gemütlich und heimelig. Es ist sehr still. Man konnte direkt vor Ort fischen, Anglerbedarf ist vorhanden. Das WLan auch wenn man das nicht unbedingt braucht ist sehr gut. Der Vermieter hat immer nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und auch Tipps für Aktivitäten gegeben. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, man fühlt sich hier wie zu Hause. Die Natur, der Fluss perfekt zum Abschalten.

Es war alles perfekt

Sijainti hyvä. Mökki oli siisti, varustelu hyvä. Hyvät löylyt saunassa. Teinit nautti olostaan todella paljon. Rauhallinen sijainti.

Tie oli monttuinen, yhden kattilan voisi uusia. Hidas netti yhteys.

Todella viihtyisä ja hyvin varusteltu sekä siisti majoitus. Ympäristö oli todella ensiluokkaisella paikalla joen läheisyydessä sekä kalapaikoille ei ollut matkaa. Myös Simojoen muille kalapaikoille matka hyvin kohtuullinen majoitukselta. Majoitus oli myös hyvin siisti, siisteimpiä näkemiäni ja majoittajat hyvin ystävällinen ja vieraanvarainen.

Super tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung, sehr sehr freundlicher, schneller und engagierter Gastgeber! Das Haus sieht so märchenhaft aus, wie man es sich bei Schnee und Eis vorstellt. :)

Very nice house situated in very quite place near river. The owner recomend adventure possibilities in near town Ranua,which absolutelly helped.

Tucked away in the heart of snow-covered wilderness, this wooden cottage felt like stepping into a winter fairytale. Surrounded by nothing but a pristine white meadow, forests, a frozen lake and endless sky, the sense of peace and seclusion was absolute. If you’re looking to truly disconnect and breathe, this is the place. The cottage itself was exceptional — beautifully built from warm, solid wood that glowed against the icy landscape outside. Every detail felt thoughtful and authentic, combining rustic charm with complete comfort. The fireplace was the soul of the cabin and we enjoyed sitting around the crackling fire. The villa also boasts a beautiful wooden sauna. Juho is a great and accommodating host. And immediately made us feel welcome. The location is wonderfully remote and secluded, offering total privacy without sacrificing comfort, but still in close reach to Ranua. At Ranua zoo we saw many animals. For me personally the polar bears, wolves and the snow owls were the highlight. This cottage wasn’t just accommodation; it was an experience. Absolutely perfect in every way and made for a memorable stay.

Cozy cottage.

Lapin Villa is the most cozy place we have ever been, it looks like the gingerbread’s house 🥰. Inside they have everything you need and it’s very comfortable, especially for kids. The shower is outside, inside the sauna. Something very new to us, but is worth the experience! Right next to the lake, with an amazing view, we even got the chance to see the Auroras.

Everything was perfect!

Séjour absolument parfait. Le chalet était parfaitement adapté à nos besoins : très bien équipé, confortable et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le propriétaire était aux petits soins, discret mais toujours disponible et à l’écoute. Tout était réuni pour profiter pleinement du calme et de la nature finlandaise. Gros coup de cœur pour l’accès à la rivière, le feu extérieur et le sauna. De nombreux petits équipements qui font toute la différence et donnent envie de revenir.

We stayed at this traditional mökki in Ranua and absolutely loved it. The cottage was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. The view over the Simojoki was simply amazing, the kind of peaceful scenery you can enjoy for hours. Our group of friends had a wonderful time here. The self check-in process was smooth and easy, and the location was straightforward to find. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went perfectly during our stay.

The only downside was that the hot-water tank wasn’t always sufficient, a few of us ended up with cold showers when the hot water ran out mid-shower. Also, there was no dishwasher, so we washed dishes by hand. Since we wanted to save the remaining hot water for showers, we often had to clean dishes with cold water, which wasn’t very convenient as we stayed there in winter.

Villa Hiisi on aivan huippumukava mökki. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyy, lämmitys, vesi, puhtaat liinavaatteet, paikat siistissä kunnossa. Kiva on kun on shampoota, kahvia valmiina, jos ei omat muistu mukaan. Mökki sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla ja rannassa pääsee perhokalastamaan. Asioista sopiminen aina sujunut mutkattomasti. Lasten ja koirien kanssa matkatessa oivallinen paikka, mutta kyllä täällä kahdenkin viihtyisi.

Einfach alles war super. Geniale Lage direkt am Fluss, super toll eingerichtet sodass man sich sofort wohl gefühlt hat. Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend sowie auch sehr hilfsbereit. Wir waren 7 Nächte dort und waren sehr traurig als wir wieder nach Hause gehen mussten.

Mökki hienolla paikalla joen rannalla ja mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä!

Perfect place at the nature to retrit. I spend just 1 night, but I recommend to spent here 3–4 nights to relax. Great contact with the owner, you got all the house for you or your family. Finish sauna was great and included in price. Just come here and enjoy your experience in truly Finland. Highly recommend.

This lovely property looks like a gingerbread house and was warm and comfortable. We loved the log fire in the spacious living room and the sauna. It was a very nice touch to receive a message telling us there was Aurora to see. Thank you!

Super steep staircase would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but this added to the charm for us.

Absolutely everything. We loved the location, we loved the cabin, we loved the way of life!

We enjoyed our short stay with all the tranquility and breathtaking nature (and Northern Lighths at night). Communication was clear and easy with the host. Enough space and beds in this lovely accommodation.

Shower was besides the Sauna, outside the house, but we didn't mind it for 1 night.

It was the perfect family stay in Lapland! The cottage is located beside a lake, surrounded by trees, and in absolute tranquility - exactly what we've been looking for! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable (a lot of extra beds!), clean, and the vibe is very cozy. The host, Juho, is very accommodating and easy to reach. He provided us with clear instructions on checking in/out, how to use the sauna, and even alerted us when there's an Aurora Borealis! We simply had to go outside and the Aurora Borealis is right above the frozen lake, in our backyard! It was truly a magical moment for us! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

The house is lovely. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our holiday there very much!

The property was spectacular, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was very quickly to reply if we had any questions, plus gave us a heads up when the northern lights were out. Can’t want to stay here again

Nothing could have made it better

Our stay was exceptional. With my friends we had a wonderful time. We were able to see the Northern Lights, enjoy the sauna, lake and barbecue and try our hand at fishing. I really recommend this friendly, quiet and well located place.

The only surprising thing is that the door locks when you close it. However, this wasn't a great inconvenience as the host found a solution very quickly.
