Reviewed May 17, 2026This rental is just perfect, the owner knows what she’s doing. Details matter, the highlight being loads of ice cubes ready at check in, water dispenser, everything needed for the walkable beach, beautiful layout in the home, immaculately clean and having a cook available was a delightful addition. Will def be back.
That I had to leave and couldn’t rebook because they were already booked out after our stay.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2024Great location being right on the beach. The are lots of extra touches that have been thought of that make it feel even more accommodating such as beach towels. Having the water fountain was great too.
The living area was extremely hot with no air con but there were plenty of fans.

If I knew how amazing this place was, I would have booked all days in here. There is NOTHING negative about this place.

The lower chamber of the refrigerator was not cooling contents sufficiently .

Reviewed Jan 18, 2024This is a lovely villa a stone's throw away from a stunning and uncrowded beach (I actually had it to myself several times). There is a small public fishing beach around the corner with a couple of lively bar and eating options. Given how resort-centered so much of Jamaican tourism can be, it was nice to be able to support small businesses owned by locals. We also really appreciated having Althea's services: she's a great cook and we got to try home-cooked Jamaican dishes!
There aren't any grocery or convenience store options within walking distance, and the ones in the nearest town (Duncan) are closed Sunday, so definitely make sure to stock up. I also recommend a car so you can drive to Falmouth for shopping, the Martha Brae river for rafting, and the bioluminescent bay, all within around 20 minutes of the place.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2023Althea was amazing! She was very attentive to my family and I. She prepared delicious breakfast and traditional Jamaican dinner. Another plus is that the villa was very clean and smelled fresh when we checked-in. The villa is beautiful and in a great location just a few steps from the beach.
My only complaint was that the sofa in the living room was uncomfortable because the cushions were hard; however, you'd likely spend more time outside on the beach than inside.
