Reviewed Sep 8, 2026A beautiful and lovingly restored old house, that feels like stepping back in time while bringing along every modern convenience, including a washing machine. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Near, clean, and serene - truly, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Wirklich ein besonderer Ort, die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hier ist Schweden so, wie man es sich vorstellt. Direkt vom Hof weg führt ein Wanderweg zu einem Felsplateau mit Aussicht über die Wälder. Es ist ein charmantes, älteres kleines Häuschen umgeben von Natur und den Alpakas der Besitzer. Das Haus ist süß eingerichtet. Vimmerby ist nur 15 min mit den Auto entfernt.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The house, the surroundings, it was all great. We took a wonderful walk to see the outlook post and pick rasberries and blueberries. It is close to Vimmerby allowing for an authentic stay outside the normal tourist areas

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025The spotless clean, very nicely decorated, well maintained and well equipped cabin reminded us of the time when Astrid Lindgren’s heroes had lived. Close to Katthult and Bullerbyn or other Astrid Lindgren sites for a visit. Very nice family and friendly alpacas we got to feed. A unique experience, do highly recommend! We’ll be back when in the area.
