Laxmi Happy Home in Querim Goa

You get exactly what you see in the pictures here. Perfect for people who love the peaceful side of Goa. A homely stay, very cozy. Querim beach is at a walkable distance. The rest of the village is also very pretty. I would highly recommend it to people who like simple things in life.

Bathrooms need better ventilation

We really enjoyed our stay at Laxmi Happy Home. The accommodation is simple but comfortable and located about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and imbue the place with a wonderful sense of calm.

Stayed at Happy Laxmi Homes and had a really comfortable experience. The place is clean, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The host is friendly and helpful, making everything smooth and hassle-free. Great value for money, would definitely recommend for a cozy getaway.

Easy location to beach and quiet neighborhood.

Our stay at Laxmi Happy Home was one we will never forget! Manuel went above and beyond to make our trip easy and fun. He took me personally to nearby town Arambol when I needed to pick up things there and was constantly informing us of exciting events and activities we could do. The homestay itself is beautiful, our room was spacious, clean and we were surrounded by stunning greenery. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were great and hot water worked perfectly, we had unlimited access to clean water and cooking equipment such as a hob and fridge! Location wise you’re a 5-10 minute walk from Querim beach which is the perfect getaway as it’s not as crowded as nearby beaches but still has plenty of restaurants and beach shacks. There are also small shops and restaurants around the homestay area so everything you need is very accessible. Manuel dined with us, offered to do yoga with us in the mornings, gave us dance lessons and we even went out to see an amazing concert with him which we wouldn’t have found without his help! His attention to detail and level of engagement made us feel like part of the family rather than just guests! Bonus points for the absolutely adorable kittens!!

Although there are shops and restaurants around, we had a moped and so accessing them was very easy however, if you are just walking than they aren’t as quick to get to and transport is difficult to access in that area so getting to nearby town Arambol is quite tricky. If you do get into Arambol I’d recommend getting the number of an auto or taxi driver!

We really enjoyed our stay and extended it twice. A quiet, beautiful paradise close to the beach, with everything you need nearby. The hosts are very friendly, approachable and helpful with organizing many things. Highly recommended staying there

Really nice place. Lovely room, so fresh and clean and lovingly decorated. Lettie did an amazing job renovating this place and she is also a very good yoga teacher. Lovely relaxing garden full of shade as well.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

The owner was very open and welcoming. The space is filled with love and attention to detail. Morning yoga sessions are offered. A sweet cat will sleep with you. A truly authentic place.

I loved my stay here, the view of greenery and nature sounds outside the window are really calming, the hallway and the rooms are aesthetically decorated and maintained. Had a great yoga class with Lettie.

Everything about this stay is special. Everything thing here in the accommodation is so carefully and lovingly managed. The whole vibe is so peaceful and the location of the accommodation is best in whole goa. I really felt at home. Didn't wanna leave that place at all. Also the owner of the place is so helpful and sweet. She is doing a spectacular job. We stayed in many accommodation but this one touched our heart. I would highly recommend to specially the ones in yoga or spiritual path. There is nice space to do your practices and also the owner is a yoga teacher herself. Everything is there at one place. Its perfect. ♥

Beautiful, cosy and peaceful place, with a wonderful garden and jungle around. Lettie took care of us and was very helpful. We had great and relaxing time at Adi Shakti Guesthouse. Hghly recommended.

We loved everything about this guesthouse. Letti has a beautiful kindness and she only wants the best for your trip and stay at her guesthouse. She is happy to supply you with any information she has. The bedroom was very clean, the sheets smelt beautiful, there was lots of light and you could open the big windows. Lots of space and hanger to put some clothes, table and a little balcony where you can hang your clothes. The bathroom had great hot water, we used the Indian bucket to wash as the shower head didn't work amazingly. (We stayed in the room with private bathroom). The communal areas were really nice, basically always a shady spot. It is surrounded by the jungle so not much noise - definitely peaceful. You can walk to Querim beach which has sunbeds and there are good activities to walk along the cliffs to Arambol and you can get the ferry across the river to see some forts. Letti does breakfast, we had dragon bowls (delicious) and scrambled eggs. Admittedly, it was nice to not have Indian for breakfast for a change.

Watching the monkeys, many beautiful birds, including peacocks, and seeing a mongoose from the windows. Letticia (Lettie) is a super host who couldn't do enough for us. The property is in an excellent position, quiet and peaceful and a short walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The rooftop is great for a morning or evening yoga practice. Highly recommended.

Excellent place! Super quiet, super comfortable bed, in the middle of nature, excellent food and amaaazing host! Spotlessly clean bathroom. Having a kitchen with a fridge and water/tea available is a big plus for me. It has a very comfortable lounge and dining area. I took yoga classes on the terrace and it was amazing. I spent a few days here and I'll be back soon 👌

My stay in Lettie's beautiful house was fantastic. The sea is within walking distance and the room was so beautiful that I wanted to spend the whole day just watching the nature outside the window from my bed. I would definitely come back! Thank you so much and I hope to see you soon, Lettie :)

Great place to spend some days. Beautifully renovated and elegant standalone house, really quiet, with no neighbors around. You can see all the trees and birds right from your bed :) Walking distance to the beach and main shops. Super host :)

Rooms are rather small, but cozy.

We had a quiet and relaxing stay at Adi Shakti. The room was nice, with trees directly outside the window. We had great breakfast and the spacious terrace on the roof is good for a chillout. With the owners you can have little chats, very nice and caring people. The cat which they have is just lovely ;)

Adi Shakti is a lovely peaceful place to stay in Querim. The location is beautiful, near the beach and estuary. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. Most of all the hosts are welcoming and friendly, I highly recommend staying here!

I loved the aesthetics and the greenery surrounding the property. The effort that went into making this place feel beautiful is evident in the small but important details. The owners are absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough to make my stay as easy as possible. The bed was comfortable (important in India!) and as far as I’ve seen this place is the absolute best place you could find to stay in Querim. Hot water is instant and the breakfasts were lovely, particularly the coffee - coffee lovers take note! I felt like I’d landed amongst friends.

The mozzies were an issue for me (obviously not the fault of the place), but I was provided with some spray which worked. Perhaps in time screens may be added to the windows, however it could detract from beauty of being close to nature which feels important here. I would have loved some a/c too - I’m a little soft when it comes to the heat these days as I grow older!
