I've just spent an incredible few days at this hostel, and I can't recommend it enough! Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable, offering great suggestions on local attractions, hidden gems, and the best places to eat. The temperature here is a little cold, but it is still an unforgettable trip.

Good atmosphere. This hostel is popular among young Chinese travellers and many are in a mood to socialise. I was there during a holiday and met people from all parts of China. However, for some games as they are often played in the evening, there could be a language barrier.

Good location within the ancient town of Shuhe. The hostel is massive, very modern, with cool ammenities like cinema screening, cafe, rooftop and etc. Also it organises activities like movie screenings and concerts inside the hostel so you can really have some fun time there (if you speak Chinese).

Not the best place for foreigners. The staff speaks very little English so the help they can provide is minimal. This hostel is not popular with foreigners - I was the odd one out and so it made it quite lonely as I wasn't able to socialise and take part in activities. The toilets were quite bad! They were clean but the smell of it.... Would make me nauseous every time I had to use it. Very very bad smell. The room didn't have an AC! With 6 people sleeping in the room it felt like a sauna in there and I would stuggle to sleep at night with how hot it was.

I really recommend this amazing hostel, situated in the beautiful ancient town of Shuhe. It's clean, spatious and there are a lot of very nice facilities (two bars, option to have breakfast and diner, fitness and a lot of places to relax). The staff is very friendly too!

One of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed! It is very big and with several places, has a beautiful terrace with views for mountains. And stay at the Old Town of Shuhe. I particularly liked the Old Town of Shuhe than Lijiang. A very good place to meet people and make friends. The people who work there were very helpful.

When I got in the dorm, the floor was a little dirty, with a lot of dust and hair on the floor. I also bothered with some guests that made Checkin too late and entered at the dorm at 1 am, lighting the light and making a lot of noise, not respecting the rules of those who sleep in a hostel.

The atmosphere at the hostel is really nice. The staff had a hard time helping us with questions about a hike through the Tiger Leaping Gorge, but then we ran into a volunteer who spoke fluent English and was able to help us with everything!

best hotel i have ever stayed, in the edge of Suhe ancient town, very easy to find, staff in here is very friendly and helpful, they always ready to help you with any need, here also have a lot of activities, you can listen the singer sing the beautiful songs in the night, you can play the table games with other guess, all young people in here, very relaxing and happy, if i come back Lijiang next time, I definitely will choose this hostel;
