Townhouse mitt i centrala Malmö

The house has a very convenient location in the old town, not far from Malmö train station. Despite its modest exterior, the house is very spacious inside, as it has two storeys, an attic and a basement. It can easily accommodate a large group. The neighbourhood is very quiet, apart from the fact that the neighbours were a bit noisy at the weekend. The house has a small courtyard. The hosts provided the furniture, kitchen equipment and most other essentials. We were particularly pleased with the price.

We have no major complaints, except that we felt perhaps a little more attention to detail was lacking: although the place has a dishwasher, we couldn’t find any dishwasher tablets or gel anywhere. When six people are staying for three nights, that's not very well thought out. There are two toilets in the house, but only one of them has a hairdryer. The women had to run back and forth between the attic and the ground floor to use it. There were six of us staying in the house and we all tried to connect to the Wi-Fi following the instructions provided in the house. None of us managed it, as the network specified by the hosts simply didn’t exist in the house (none of our phones showed it). When we wrote to the host about the problem with the non-functioning router, we received the incredibly helpful advice to use a router :)

Läget, trevlig liten bak-trädgård, ljust och fint inne

Större kylskåp för 11 pers, eftersom inga gardiner fanns för fönstren i sovrummen, för mycket insyn, blev för ljust och för varmt, svårt att sova.

Huset ligger meget centralt og der er meget plads

Der var piv koldt og varmen kom slet ikke selvom vi tændte for alle radiatorer. Det gør oplevelsen dårlig når man fryser hele tiden. Man bør oplyse, at man IKKE kan parkerer ved huset og at man skal betale for parkering i hele byen. Jeg fik opfattelsen at, at man godt kunne parkerer 1 enkelt bil ved huset. Samtidigt kan man oplyse, at det ikke er dyrt at parkerer tæt på huset samt. Knivene var dårlige - ingen brødkniv, The skeerne var micro små. Opvaskermaskinen manglede salt og afspænding

Läget var fantastiskt, mitt i stan på en lugn och mysig gata. Det var enkelt att komma in med kod som alla boende hade tillgång till. Rent och städat och sköna sängar. Kontakten med uthyraren funkade klockrent. Snabba och informativa svar. Köket var tillräckligt utrustat och alla glas/tallrikar/köksredskap var fräscha och rena. Plus för det!

Direkt när man öppnar dörren slår en unken lukt emot en och den är stark i hela huset men främst i våtutrymmena och källaren och satt kvar i kläderna när man kom hem. Inredningen är väldigt spartansk. Allt finns i köksutrustning men möblerna är enkla (ex. uppfällbart utebord med stolar som matplats och inte så mysigt att hänga i).

The house is in a great central location, close to the train station. It is in a beautiful part of town, close to the park and the main squares in the city. The beach is about 2km away but easily walkable. The house is spacious and worked well for our family of five. The kitchen was well stocked (including consumables like washing up liquid and clingfilm) and we could easily self-cater.

Saknade tv, osthyvel och äggkoppar

The location was absolutely perfect. We were visiting a football match Malmö FF - FC Twente and did everything by foot. It really is in the center of the city with a lot of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you need to cook a diner or breakfast. There even was a sharp knife.

There are no electronics in the house, so if you want to watch some tv or movie in the evening, you should bring your laptop.
