Garden Hotel Rennes Centre Gare

Location couldn't have been better for me. It was very close to the historic city, train station, stop for the airport bus and Musée des Beaux Arts.

Emplacement

Nothing

Good location

Small room which was very hot and very low beams. Supposed to be a double bed but was two singles pushed together. Single body wash/hair wash. Lots of signs up to be eco friendly and reduce water use which felt pressurising. Room was overlooked if the window was open.

Chambre propre et confortable. Accueil chaleureux.

Rien

Friendly staff very keen to help. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location for visiting sites of the city. Excellent car park facility in such a busy city.

Our booking indicated a room with patio. Sadly, we were on the first floor, with no outside space at all. The "balcony" is simply an outdoor corridor used by all rooms on that level

Clean room, friendly staff, abundant breakfast, organic products

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin

Ottima colazione con prodotti bio e ben selezionati

L’emplacement

staff was absolutely excelent. Location is great

Location and friendly, accommodating staff

Tutto! Consigliatissimo!

Nulla da segnalare.

Staff and location. Very friendly and welcoming. Outdoor space was nice for breakfast.

Le buffet petit déjeuner était excellent. Démarche écologique interressante et ludique

Ras

Schnukeliges kleines Hotel in guter Lage. Abgeschlossener Parkplatz in der Nähe

Im EG relativ helle Zimmer

Lovely old building, cute details. Everything clean and well equipped. Nice breakfast, parking very closeby and safe. Friendly and helpful staff.

Everything a bit narrow, it’s still an old building.

Le petit-déjeuner était excellent !

Zentrale Lage, sehr schöne, liebevolle Einrichtung, Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter

Kleine Zimmer, für kurze Aufenthalte aber egal

Centro città e punti di interesse vicini raggiungibili a piedi. Posteggio privato disponibile.

Das Frühstück im Innenhof

Sehr zentrumsnah, cosy.

The breakfast was good and the staff were happy to store a special milk in their refrigerator. Nice outdoor area.

Room was very small, we had to put a chair outside on the balcony to make room for our suitcases. Very little storage space for clothes, no air-conditioning, no refrigerator.

Rien ! :)

Le crêpes all’arrivo molto apprezzate.

Posizione, camera spaziosa e abbastanza pulita

Jolie

Camera accogliente e pulita, staff gentile.

Merci !

Nichts

Cozy hotel just outside the touristic area of the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly

Breakfast at patio was just perfect. the room did not have air condiitonion, but the staff provided us with a fan. The room was cleaned and helpfull staff.

The breakfasts were excellent. A wide variety of choices of fruit juices, cereals, breads, croissants, cakes, etc. The convenient location for the historic city centre and nearby restaurants. 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. Bus stops nearby. A nice courtyard with plenty of tables and seating. Very helpful receptionists.

The view from our room was of the back of the shops and flats on the main street, so not the most picturesque. We conclude it's luck of the draw. The lack of air-con during what was very hot weather. It's a gamble we took when booking. We think this would not be so crucial in less extreme circumstances.

Good location, clean, friendly staff

Nothing

The location

Before getting the keys for the room,we were asked to decide on a breakfast choice from three menu tarrifs. We chose the middle price and were disappointed ,we should have eaten outside the property..It seemed more important to the receptionist we pay for a breakfast than giving us the key to the room. The building was old and dated. The garden was a rather unattractive courtyard. Lift was tiny.
