HACIENDA SANTO DOMINGO DE YUNKU

Un super séjour à l'Hacienda. Nous avons profité de la piscine et du cenote privé. Une excellente expérience. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le restaurant pour le dîner était très bien. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et les lits très confortables. Son emplacement permet de visiter le site de Uxmal. Dans notre road trip de 15 jours c'était une belle parenthèse loin des sites touristiques.

Everything was perfect. This hacienda is very beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We loved the swimming pools and the private cenote even more! We appreciated the restaurant which serves delicious home-made Yucatecan regional food. All staff were extremely friendly and our son loved the kittens too. We got great recommendations for day trips from here: the village of Oxkutzcab and the Oxkintok Mayan ruins and caves. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back. Thank you for all.

Unique opportunity to stay at a hacienda with; lots of history (machinery still remains from the sisal production), it’s very own cenote and in comfortable rooms with plenty of character. Carlos and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Carlos told us loads about the history of the site as well as helpful local recommendations including a great restaurant for lunch. Carlos also arranged for us to have chicken with mole sauce which we were keen to try. The food was home cooked and excellent. We really enjoyed our stay thank you. Highly recommend for a unique and restful experience.

Das Personal spricht großteils kein Englisch, weiß sich aber mit dem Handy zu helfen.

Everything perfect!

This is an exceptional place. I walked around it open-mouthed at the beauty. The gigantic trees, the ancient farm machinery, the sense of history - we felt very very lucky to stay here. A bonus is that the staff are amazing, we were looked after by the sweetest women who were gentle and kind to us and our kids, including when our youngest ran headfirst into a table within minutes of arriving. And to top it all off, the cenote onsite was a wonderful surprise and we had it all to ourselves - so memorable.

El servicio muy atento, todos bien amables. Me gusto el espacio de las hamacas afuera y seguro que la alberca es muy bien utilisado en dias de calor pero desafortunadamente nos toco mucho frio y se corto la electricidad un tiempito. Muy lindo para caminar alrededor.

La hacienda es muy linda y se nota que la estan arreglando pero si falta bastante - no esta tan lista y linda como muestran las fotos. El precio me parece demasiado elevado! Fuimos viajando por Yucatan y se nos hizo uno de los hoteles mas caros y con las facilidades mas basicas de todas. Los asientos en la sala de comer son bien incomodos y no te invita a pasar tiempo alli, la comida esta bien pero considerando que los huespedes no tienen otra opcion de comida pensaria que podrian mejorar la calidad. Y por el precio tan elevado te dan un desayuno continental - pan, cafe y fruta, si quieres huevos o algo mas hay que pagar. No habia nada mal pero por ese precio uno espera muuuucho mas entonces nos fuimos un poco frustrados. Bajen sus precios por $1mil la noche y alli si podria estar mejor.

La hacienda esta muy bonita, hay poca gente y eso hace que disfrutes de la tranquilidad. Además el cenote esta muy bonito y la gente del servicio muy amable. Igual la habitación limpia y muy bonita.

Architecture, vegetation, indoor and outdoor spaces. Completely charming and authentic with remnants of the production of sisal around the grounds.

This was a delightful stay, we should have stayed longer than one night. It's only a 5 - 10 minute drive from Mucuyche Hacienda and Cenote. It felt like an authentic hacienda, comfortable (very large) room. Great dinner and breakfast, fabulous, very large pool and they even have a cenote. Interesting host who told us a lot about the local history. If we are in the area again we would definitely return.

When you turn onto the road to Yunko (the village where the hacienda is located) there is a sign letting you know that you're in the right place but in addition they really need to put a small sign at the entrance gate of the hacienda because it's not clear that the stone road to the hacienda is really the entrance.

Abbiamo prenotato aspettandoci una struttura immersa nel verde, tranquilla e con servizi adeguati se non a un 4 (come riportato) almeno a un 3 stelle. Purtroppo la realtà è stata completamente diversa: La struttura si presenta in condizioni di evidente degrado e non rispecchia in alcun modo le immagini o la descrizione online; si trova in una zona isolata, lungo una strada pericolosa e dissestata, con traffico di animali al pascolo. Raggiungerla è stato complicato e poco sicuro. Inoltre, nella zona (in tutto il tratto per arrivare e per tornare) non c’è praticamente segnale telefonico né connessione internet, il che rende difficile qualsiasi comunicazione. Non ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio né sicuri e abbiamo deciso di andare via immediatamente. Trovo difficile comprendere come una descrizione così distante dalla realtà possa essere pubblicata su Booking senza verifiche più accurate; la discrepanza tra quanto indicato online e le condizioni effettive della struttura è significativa e può creare seri disagi a chi prenota facendo affidamento sulle informazioni presenti sulla piattaforma.

Die Hazienda liegt in mitten von nirgendwo . Man spürt noch die alte Zeit, ist aber mit schönen Zimmern- wir hatten eine der beiden Hütten- bestens untergebracht

Hier ist noch Luft nach oben. Toole Zimmer mit eigener Terrasse abe keine Sitzmöbel bzw. nur ein alter Stuhl und kleiner Tisch . Die liege am Pool sind ungepflegt und lieblos hinterlassen. Sehr schade. Auch die Poolpflege hat noch Bedarf. Ebenso das Restaurant. Huhn mit Reis kalt bzw. in Zimmertemperatur zu servieren ist nicht sehr schön. Das alles im Hinblick darauf dass auf der Hazienda Zimmerpreise aufgerufen werden die deutlich mehr Erwartung mit sich bringen. Und last but not least für ein Spiegelei zum Frühstück extra Geld zu verlangen ist schon ziemlich frech. Das haben wir in 3 Wochen Rundreise noch nicht erlebt

V ceně byla zahrnuta snídaně, která byla opravdu skromná. Za více jídla se muselo připlácet.

Heerlijke plek, met grote tuin, zwembad en privé cenote. De accomodatie is gelegen in een klein dorpje, maar je kan ter plaatse lekker eten. Als je het vraagt maken ze zelfs iets vegetarisch klaar. De kamers zijn zeer ruim. We kregen ook tips voor onze uitstapjes.

Hacienda un peu perdue au milieu de nul part et pourtant ça vaut le détour. Nous y avons passé 5 nuits, entre balades et farniente. La piscine et le cenote (accessible à toute heure) sont juste géniaux. Il y a un menu et un petit bar qui permettent d’avoir cocktails et repas à des prix corrects. Les petits dej sont sympas. La chambre était très jolie. Un hôte qui nous a donné des conseils pour nos visites. Vraiment un très bon séjour.

Die Hacienda ( Pool, Cenote) kann bis 17h00 von anderen Gästen genutzt werden, welche nicht in der Hacienda übernachten. Sonst ist man dort alleine.

Se trata de una hacienda colonial. El entorno es maravilloso, con árboles enormes, piscina, animales y un cenote! La habitación era amplia y sencilla, las camas comodísimas. Todo el personal fue muy muy amable.

Está un poco aislado de todo, pero supongo que es parte de su encanto.

Principalmente el cuidado y que tienen por el cento para que pueda estar limpio y además de alguna manera bastante privado sin tanta gente, casi como sentir que es tuyo el lugar.

- Lieux très isolé

Le site avec ses traces du passé (exposition de restes de machine dans le jardin), la piscine très belle où l'on peut nager car elle est configurée en longueur, le cenote privé. Restaurant sur place sur le patio du bâtiment principal à des prix très corrects. L'ensemble est très charmant.

L'aménagement des abords de la propriété est un peu négligé au niveau de l'entretien des espaces verts. Bâtiment de services vétustes trop visibles ( poulailler, atelier, ...). Les bâtiments sont un peu dans leus " jus", mais c'est ce qui fait aussi le charme du lieu!

Le calme et la beauté de la propriété. La magnifique piscine et le cenote privé.

Les prix un peu élevés de la nourriture au restaurant surtout pour les petits extras comme un café à 3 euros alors que le plat local est servi pour 9 euros.

El servicio fue muy agradable y cordial. Las habitaciones muy limpias y amplias. El confort del lugar fue ideal para descansar, las instalaciones están muy completas: estancia, comida, cenotes, alberca.

Wir haben die erste Nacht auf unserer Yucatanreise hier verbracht. Die Hacienda lädt definitiv zum Verweilen ein, authentisches stimmiges Flair, sauber und gepflegt, freundlich zurückhaltendes und gleichzeitig sehr aufmerksames Personal. Abendessen und Frühstück mit guter Auswahl und sehr lecker. Wir hatten das Glück, als Familie die einzigen Gäste zu sein, sodass wir auch den tollen Cenote, der sich auf der Hacienda befindet und den Pool für uns allein hatten. Zudem fühlen sich sowohl Leguane als auch verschiedene Vogelarten hier wohl. Wir wären gern länger geblieben.

Gently restored hacienda on a jungly property. We thoroughly enjoyed the several pools and the amazing cenote. We appreciated that lifejackets were provided for added safety. Family-friendly, expect countryside charm not manicured luxury. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were accommodating with dietary preferences. This was a special stay.

Gelegen in een klein plaatsje in het binnenland van Yucatan. Heel authentiek, schitterende omgeving met oude bomen, heerlijk groot zwembad en er is een cenote aanwezig. Wij waren onder de indruk! Nous recherchions un lieu authentique en dehors des sentiers battus et nous avons ete servi. on a adore l'endroit rempli d'histoire, de calme et de comfort.

Certains endroits du domaine sont un peu 'laissés à l'abandon' et pourraient etre nettoyes. Mais ce n'est pas vraiment derangeant, juste dommage.

Woooww, me encantó lo natural del hotel, privacidad, amabilidad, capacidad de atender los detalles que son realmente los que hacen la diferencia y que te confirman que tomaste la mejor decisión al hospedarte en ese preciso lugar. Todas las recomendaciones de lugares que visitar, donde comer, cenotes, sitios turísticos excelentes!!! El Sr. Luis es un extraordinario anfitrión y el detalle de la mermelada...ufff!! Prueben la mermelada de Jamaica exquisita!!! Volveremos!!!!

Unser Zimmer im Haupthaus war einfach, aber sehr groß und mit Ventilator und Air Condition ausgestattet. Das Besondere an dieser Unterkunft ist das Gesamtpaket. Es gibt einen sehr großen wunderbaren Pool, einen kleineren Pool mit integrierten Liege- und Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie einen Kinderpool - alles in einem von großen schattigen Bäumen gesäumten Ambiente. Der Clou ist die zur Hacienda gehörende unterirdische Cenote. Absolut phantastisch. Nicht zu vergessen, das sehr leckere und preiswerte Essen in kolonialem Ambiente. Diese Unterkunft gehörte während unserer vierwöchigen Reise durch Yucatán und Chiapas zu den beeindruckendsten Orten mit einer einmaligen Atmosphäre.

We stayed here as a family of four. Everything was wonderful. The service was exceptional and Carlos the manager was very attentive and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, the room was large and perfectly laid out for us and our two children and it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The pools are kept very clean and the cenote is stunning. The location is near Uxmal and Mucuyche so it’s perfect for tourists. The whole experience was exceptional and we will definitely return.

Lovely little gem an hour south of Merida. Rustic but with solid amenities and its own beautiful cenote which we had to ourselves for the most part. Peaceful and quiet, no loud pop music blaring poolside or in the restaurant so you could hear the birds! Perfect to unplug and relax, great value for the money and food was yummy and reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet endroit idyllique ! L’hacienda possède sa propre cenote ,elle est époustouflante , on se sent privilégiés , on était tous seuls dedans ! Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis , le dîner et petit déjeuner était excellent ! Nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés !!

Tout est parfait, le lieu est magique, le personnel, aux petits soins, très efficace et agréable, et le cenote est une pure merveille

Très belle Hacienda avec de beaux espaces extérieurs, un bar sympa. Grande chambre propre et belle déco. Les piscines sont très bien. En pleine campagne, paisible, cela fait du bien après l'agitation de Mérida. Très bon restaurant à un prix raisonnable. Accueil adorable de Carlos qui nous a fait visiter la propriété. Cerise sur le gâteau, le cenote privé, nous y étions seuls, incroyable !

Il manque quelques éléments de confort : des coussins sur les chaises longues, une petite terrasse privée devant la chambre. Et le petit déjeuner est vraiment trop basique. Le jardin de derrière pourrait être mieux entretenu.

Het was een prachtige locatie waar ook mensen dagtripjes doen. De andere reviews waren helemaal terecht qua buitenruimtes. Magisch en leuk.

Het avondeten was wat smakeloos. Het ontbijt was dan weer wel lekker, maar veel belangrijker: We kregen eerst een kamer die totaal niet leek op de foto’s. Toen we het aanspraken, zeiden ze dat het algemene foto’s waren, maar deze kamer was donker, niet mooi afgewerkt, muf. Ze hebben ons uiteindelijk wel de juiste kamer gegeven (hoewel ze eerst probeerden een meerprijs te vragen) en die was super. Ook de volgende dag vroegen we of we na checkout nog mochten blijven op het domein ls we wel al uit de kamer gingen. Ze zeiden ja en daar kwamen ze later op terug door te zeggen dat we een dagpas moesten kopen dan of in een half uur vertrekken. Dat was zeer schappelijk want we waren al 2u blijven hangen. De communicatie mag gewoon proactief duidelijker. Jammer van de strubbelingen. Anders was het een 10.

This place is gorgeous! A restored Hacienda with all the history and beauty of the building retained. Amazing family style service, home cooked food in lovely surroundings, a magnificant swimming pool.....and wait for it.....its own magical cenote for swimming. What a find!

What a pleasant surprise! Friendly team, lovely setting, beautiful pool and a large cenote with refreshing water. There are about nine rooms and occasional visitors for the day. We enjoyed the meals. It took us about 50 minutes to get to Uxmal and Merida is a similar distance. The wifi was good and the beds were great. There are some family rooms, with a very comfortable double bed and two singles.

Nothing disappointed us, but it's noticeable that they are gradually upgrading the place. It has a huge potential.

The breakfast included with the room was a bit light, so we ended up having to order more from the restaurant menu

It was a very nice and positive surprise staying at Hacienda Yunku. It is a smaller hacienda, but it gives you everything: great room, excellent and very friendly service, lots of cultural information from the manager, great food and beautiful views around the very well maintained hacienda. Hacienda Yunku even offers a "personal" cenote!

The hacienda feels very private, very different to one of the ‘higher end’ haciendas which will typically be full of tourists. The cenote was very atmospheric and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves which was a very special experience. The staff were also very friendly.

There could maybe be a few more options on the breakfast menu but what we had was good.

The manager, Carlos, was extremely helpful. This hotel is off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Clean, comfortable rooms. Amazing pool and cenote underneath the pool was fabulous! A lovely and peaceful place to stay.

Incroyable environnement, le cenote est surprenant. Nous étions seuls dans l'hôtel, cadre merveilleux avec les 2 piscines. Le chant des oiseaux nous a bercé toute la nuit. L'accueil et la nourriture étaient exceptionnels. Les enfants semblent être les bienvenus avec piscine pour eux, trampoline et des jeux à côté de l'hôtel dans le petit village de Yunku.

Nous n'avons pas trouvé l'entrée de suite mais ce n'est qu'un détail.
