Gorgeous, outstanding views from windows. Complete isolation from civilization - just in 25 minutes from the town. Quiet and beautiful nature. Auroras were observed just from the window, above the lake surface - magical!

Hot water supply a bit limited. Not an issue for a couple, though. Could be for a larger family.

Исключительная чистота, прекрасные кровати, постельное белье, отличная баня, гриль, устройство от комаров во дворе рядом с большим столом, за которым можно собраться большой компанией. А какой вид из окна! В доме есть все необходимое, даже игры для детей. Владелец очень деликатно , с помощью небольших записок, напоминает о правилах и порядке расположения вещей. Все просто прекрасно!

Единственное, что хотелось бы дополнить, это возможность постирать и высушить вещи. В ванной комнате есть небольшая сушилка, но за ночь вещьи остались мокрыми. Нам немного не повезло, на грунтовке у дома велись строительные работы и были трудности при въезде и выезде.

Mycket bra för egen hushållning och naturutflykter i området. Läget vid sjön utmärkt. Fantastisk utsikt över midnattssolen.

La posizione con vista sul lago ghiacciato, con la possibilità di vedere dalle grandi finestre l'aurora boreale. La casa é dotata di ogni confort e c'è la possibilita di cucinare. Ci sono molte attività da poter fare. In particolare consigliamo il giro in slitta coi cani di bohemien Lucky bastard per la sua etica e la cura che ha per i cani che considera il centro della sua famiglia. Abbiamo fatto anche il giro in motoslitta in mezzo ai boschi con Stephan super divertente.

Cette cabine au bord d'un lac gelé est un magnifique havre de paix, la vue est imprenable, tout était parfait et les hôtes sont exceptionnels. Merci pour ce beau séjour.

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We especially loved the large glass windows surrounding the house. The frozen lake right in front of our window created a breathtaking view during winter. The only disappointment was that we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights during our stay, but the location would offer a perfect, unobstructed view if it appeared. Aside from the remote location, everything was excellent. The team was friendly, very helpful, and easy to communicate with. Special thanks to Zsolt, who was always ready to assist us—even up to the very last minute when seeing us off. Would definitely come back if we have the chance in the future and would highly recommend Camp Caroli to our friends.

Emplacement incroyable en pleine nature

The location was amazing, nestled right on the edge of the frozen lake. We just had to step outside the cabin to see the most spectacular 360 degree views of the skies. Perfect for Northern Lights viewing, and daytime fun the next day with the family onm the frozen snowy lake! The cabin was warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Family House, it was just perfect. The views amazing from the cabin, and the hosts friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Stefan even came to the cabin to collect payment for the next days dogsledding saving us from having to do it. Thank you!

Les activités sont très chères, plus qu ailleurs. La sortie wilderness se fait uniquement en van, on ne voit pas grand chose, nous avons été un peu déçus de cette sortie

Die Lage mit dem einmaligen Blick auf den zugefrorenen See war spitze. Die Kommunikation schon im Vorfeld und auch vor Ort war gut. Sie waren immer sehr pünktlich.

Das wäre meckern auf hohem Niveau; aber ein Topf mehr wäre super gewesen.

I saw Nothern light at the first night, and the bed room and living room are very clean other than charged towel and linen.

Beautiful House by the lake! The living room is amazing, such a pleasure to wake up there, look at the big windows and enjoy the sunrise on the lake! Very quiet place. We were there mi-october and were welcomed by Northern lights the first night 😍 We had the pleasure to meet the owner of the House, really nice.

On the first day, we ran out of hot water for the second shower, so we had shorter showers on the second day 😅

The location of the cabin is stunning. It feels like your own private lake! A beautiful sunset and morning, and in between it's a perfect spot for the Northern Lights. The last photo below was taken just on a phone inside through a window! You can either set up outside or sit inside with the warmth and watch the show through the window.

Heerlijk huisje aan het meer. Rustig en afgelegen. In de ochtend genoten van de vogels en de rust. Voor noorderlicht ook perfect! Wij hebben dit zelf ervaren. De gastheer Stefan is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en neemt de tijd, bedankt!

Emplacement calme et sublime avec de magnifiques paysages. Le sauna est juste à côté de la maison. Personnel très agréable et disponible pour ses hôtes. Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature qui ont plus envie de regarder dehors que de regarder la télévision. Emplacement parfait pour voir les aurores boréales.

Een prachtig huis op een fantastische plek. De stilte, de natuur.... hier kom je echt tot rust. Elke middag zagen wij op het meer een grote groep grote zaagbekken (een eendensoort) zo leuk! En het is hier écht donker. Geen lichtvervuiling, geen vervelende buitenverlichting die het fotograferen van het noorderlicht lastig maakt. Drie van de vier avonden mochten wij hier het noorderlicht zien. Je krijgt een berichtje als er wat te zien is, maar het is goed om zelf wat kennis (en apps) te hebben van het noorderlicht, want elke keer dat wij het bericht kregen stonden wij allang buiten 😃

Stort, rent og stille. Passet en familie på 5 perfekt. Stort kombiskap med ganske stor fryser, perfekt om man planlegger å være her en stund (et stykke unna alt av butikker). Hytta er utstyrt med alt du kan tenke deg av kjøkkenutstyr (muligens ikke vannkoker, den fant jeg ikke), og til og med AC. Det er også både blåbær og multer i skogen rundt, og fin utsikt over innsjøen. Vi kommer tilbake dersom hytta er ledig neste ferie! 😄

Nice and well equipped cabin

To świetnie miejsce na wypoczynek. Dom, nad samym jeziorem, w pełni wyposażony z widokiem niemal z każdego okna na wodę. Wszelkie udogodnienia w zasięgu ręki. Kontakt z właścicielem bardzo dobry. Dom, jego wnętrze i okolica są o wiele ładniejsze niż na zdjęciach w ofercie. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni!

Its a nice cosy place with the most beautiful view. We enjoyed the midnight sun :)

The family room was around 5-7 kms from the camp location and there is no grocery store nearby so come prepared. It is still worth it, as long as you plan ahead.

The charge for the linen, bed linen, and towel package came as a bit of a surprise — probably overlooked by me in the very short-notice booking we made.

As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

everything was perfect. The house is perfecty located just in front of a big lake (frozen during winter time). The view from the house is wonderful. The house is warm and well equiped. if you are lucky, you can observe northern lights from the house and just in front of it from the lake. Stefan welcomed us warmly. We also enjoyed a lot the activities booked at Camp Caroli (dogsleeding and safari excursion).

Everything. I can only recommend staying there. The family house is the actual family house of the team behind camp Caroli and it feels right at home. It’s a dreamy cabin at the end of the road with a view directly on the frozen lake. You can’t beat this location. And don’t get me started on the northern lights. It’s the best place to see any. And we saw many! And on New Year’s Eve! Honestly we couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to start 2025. Go at Camp Caroli! The team is super nice, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they make you feel part of the family as well. All the activities are wonderful and well organized. Just pure polar bliss. The house is warm and comfortable. Even by minus 25 which is the temp we got when we were there. The kitchen is big and nice to cook in. And the bathroom has all you need. Just a perfect place really.

The property was cozy and provided a wonderful connection to nature and above our expectations. The view of the Northern Lights from the house was breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal getaway and a perfect Christmas.

There was nothing to dislike—it was a truly enjoyable stay.

Location. The cabin was overlooking the frozen lake. We were lucky we had two nights of the northern lights for our 2-night stay and considering it was a weekend. From 8 PM to 5:30 AM! Stefan was accommodating. I have already recommended this place to friends and colleagues. We would not mind going back.

Stefan met us at the property and was very welcoming. The property is very cosy with an amazing view of the lake.. beautiful to wake up to. We stayed two nights, seeing the aurora borealis for one of them.

The location is perfect, it's very secluded within nature and by the lake, inside the house you can see the lake from every angle. The house is extremely clean and it feels like a home. We are already planning to come back here again. The host is very kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here. This place deserves 10 stars 🤩

An excellent and cozy house with a wonderful view from the windows on the shore of a beautiful lake. Clean, beautiful interior with fireplace. The owner Stefan was very welcoming and friendly.

Cabin was tidy and recently renovated. Aircondition was nice in the summer. My husband enjoyed fishing (got few perches and pikes but we Released those back) and we liked the view a lot.

Beds were a bit hard for adult sleepers, Kids said that for them those were ok.

We stayed at the family house for 2 nights…should have stayed longer ! What a beautiful spot, right by the lake, with wonderful views and walks at your doorstep. And Stefan was truly helpful and kind. Can only recommend !!!

My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! Thank you for an amazing adventure!!

We loved everything!!

Amanda and Estefan are very approachable and friendly. You will feel at home! The cabin are so comfortable to chill and you can cook as well.

The location of the accommodation is right next to the lake and has a very nice view. The host was very supportive, he guided us to view the Northern Lights and also helped us to get the stuck car out of the snow. The snowmobile ride was very enjoyable...

Well designed and perfectly equipped recent cabin . Magnificent views from all sides on a large and beautiful lake. Stefan is a very attentive and friendly host.

Noting, just that we had to live

Outside fire pit was a nice suprised and firewood included. View and location was amazing.

Bed linen wasn’t included in the price, luckily we had some of our own and only paid for 2 sets. We also had to make the beds ourselves. Location wasn’t according to the map, but the host met us by the other camp Caroli and led us further away. Calling the host about arriving was a bit extra comparing other cabins.

We was surprised from the special toilet. The location was amazing, we are liking evening in the forest.

The toilet system was great. But it couldn’t flush more than 4 times an hour. Which was a huge issue with kids.

Amazing location, in the forest by the frozen lake. If you're lucky you can see the lights right there! The house is very nice, simple, warm and comfortable. Perfect if you want to experience the Swedish Lapland at its best. Stefan is a very nice host, he will tell you everything he knows!

It was a lovely location. The hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended to switch off and relax.

The fact that you need to pay extra for the towels and the linen.

The cottage is situated at a lake with a great view. Perfect location both for a summer and winter holidays. We had a great view of the aurora right from the cottage. During the winter season the hosts have a nice offering of activities, such as snow scooter driving, dog sledding, a safari tour and more.

Could be better with basic supplies, such as coffee filters and toilet paper, which we needed to refill ourselves.

Amazing location next to the lake, reindeer were passing the house, which connected us with nature. There was also an option for sauna. Definitely recommend this place.

For six people the bedroom is a bit tight.

An incredibly beautiful place that you can't forget and don't want to leave. Fantastic view, sometimes reindeer pass by. Great way to see the Northern Lights on the frozen lake. You are in the middle of nature for yourself, but you are very well looked after from the main camp. Very nice hosts, through whom you can also book tours. We will definitely come back.

It is perfect place to see the aurora, which is one of the most important interests for us to stay here. We can even see the aurora (the beautiful northern lighting) from the inside of the house. We have the feeling of staying at home, especially several friends coming together, sounds like taking party every day. It is best nature environment, silent and good view of forest, ice and snow, and close to the river or lake, you can see beautiful sun-rising and sun-down. We can take free choice to go to the restaurant or cook a bit by ourselves, and then drink a bit in the evening with much relaxing. There are good enough cooking facilities. Especially, there is the fireplace, which make us very much cozy when we come back from the cold winter outside. It is a typical Swedish stuga, but very good location. We love it so much. The house holder is very much warm and considerate, and can help us to take some exciting activities like snowmobile, dogsledding, ice-fishing, hunting the northern lighting etc., which are typical and unique in this region. We are very much impressive and enjoyable to stay in this property, where is close to the famous ice hotel, Sami-village and museum, and not so far from Kiruna city, railway station and airport. It is the perfect place for a family or some good friends to stay here and enjoy the cozy life.

Not really, only not big enough to hold many people, maximum 8 persons But, in the summer time, I guess it could be better to take camping here.
