Darna Surf House Morocco

Traveling Morocco for 3 months and also working remotely was hard so before we stay in a hostel we message asking for a good light in the room and maybe a table if possible coz most hostels and rooms we stayed offer red and orange lights, it was hard to pack and do regular chores. As usual we message this property and they seem pissed accusing us that we are demanding and even ask that we cancel our reservation because apparently the booking price was cheaper for us than usual. We felt so down coz it’s so last minute and for sure hard to find a place again so we tried to be patient and just go. The room turned out nice and beautiful with balcony but sheets are undoubted if really clean or changed. there’s breakfast was really amazing. The owner was there also and it was just all weird atmosphere. Different people different experience. The stay here was one of the bad Morocco encounters so far - owner asking us to cancel our booking and find something else because he doesn’t wanna change his light when he asked from the beginning if we have special request in their intro message.

No check-in, no check-out… nobody replied to our questions before, bell doesn’t work, nice place but no reception or someone to ask questions when we stayed there

Spacious facility , calm street.

It was such an amazing stay. We only booked two nights but ended up staying longer! Everybody was so nice and we had a lot of fun. Very chilled place and feels like a home. The food was delicious. Would definitely come back again

I had a wonderful experience there, went for 3 days and end up staying a full week! If you’re traveling alone I highly recommend it, they really make you feel like home since the first moment. I would definitely come back again, thank you so much for everything!!

Everything was perfect!!!

We had a such a great week at darna surf, the place is clean, cosy and feels like a second home. Every day we had fun activities planned with abdelilah, cooking classes, surfing lessons and excursions in the area. Will come back for sure 👌

The owner really helped us a lot during our stay. We felt at home, the bedroom was cozy and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and everything simply perfect. Thank you again :)

We had a very nice stay. Lovely and well kept rooms with access to everything you'd need. Abdellah was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend the place.

Loved everything about the property! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Clean facilities and convenient location - close to the beach and had lots of mini market nearby! Rooftop had nice views too :) the breakfast in the morning was also great! Would love to come back and stay here again in the future.

Veru clean and quiet. Staff were very warm and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Abdulilah and Fatima were born to host people. I highly recommend this place!

Location was amazing, close to the beach. Very nicely decorated roof and communal space. Very welcoming and chilled vibe. Yaqub was amazing and allowed us to do laundry. Place was clean and beautiful, and we were also able to check out late with no problem. Service was amazing, everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was easy to meet new people and make friends

What a wonderful place… I don’t even know where to start!! The staff here are very welcoming and helpful. Yacoub the owner is very involved in the hostel and is very accommodating. It’s always slightly scary coming into a new place as a solo female traveller but the guys here are so genuine and the place feels very very safe in general !! The location is perfect. There’s a few shops and market right at the door and the beach is only a 5 minute walk. Was honestly shocked considering how cheap it is to stay here lol The hostel itself exceeded my expectations by far.. so huge with lots of space to chill. Loved the downstairs sitting room area with the bean bags and tv. Great for remote work. 2 huge rooftop terraces with darts and board games. Really well lit with nice lighting at night. (Random but I loved this lol) 2 kitchens with lots of equipment, plenty of bathrooms. Very clean and the complementary breakfast is delicious. Msemen is life 😍 Comfy beds. Beautiful decor. Amazing atmosphere. I only wish I could have stayed here longer :( The guys offer excursions and surf lessons which I didn’t get a chance to try since my stay was short but I heard from other guests they’re great so I’ll have to try next time !!! I LOVED everything !!! Only 2 points I’ll make - it’s definitely NOT a party hostel so dont expect that. Very chill and respectful vibes which is what I like - they have 2 very cute cats which are the best but you should take note if you have allergy !! Again, THANK YOU ❤️❤️😍
