Thank you, Joel, for the warm welcoming :))
Everything was really perfect 😊
Wonderful evening spent at Colmacnoise B&B. Joe is a warm and welcoming host. Beautiful drive, beautiful surroundings contributed to a beautiful time. Breakfast was delicious.
Should have checked in before making a round trip to Athlone.
Joe and Jackie were exceptionally warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, and it was great to have access to tea making facilities when we came back late each evening. The delicious breakfasts that Joe prepared were first class and kept us sustained well into each afternoon. We also had some lovely conversations with our hosts, and we cannot recommend this superb B&B highly enough.
There was nothing that we didn't like about our stay at this superb B&B.
Hote amical, superbe maison, petit déjeuner traditionnel exceptionnel.
Rien
B&B in Bestform. Herzlicher Empfang, gemütliche Zimmer, reichhaltiges (Irish) Breakfast.
Super pratique !
Very comfortable. Joe was very friendly
Excellent communication. Friendliness of host. Large, comfortable room. Very close to Clonmacnoise Monastery.
Nothing!!
Wir wurden super aufgenommen und der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend
Joe and Jackie were very welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable, and Joe’s scrambled eggs were delicious!
Excellent cooked Irish full breakfast. A very friendly and hospitable couple keen to share their home and neighbourhood.
Could have been useful to have a square pin/2 point round pin adapter for shavers, toothbrushes etc.
The location, a few minutes from the monastic site. Joe the host is a character and wants you to feel comfortable. The breakfast.
Wifi was erratic.
Joe was like our long lost friend in Ireland. He had thought of every little amenity one might need to be at home. He made breakfast a lovely experience. Unlike our hotels, our stay was very personal since Joe was so personable!!!!
Not a thing.
Fantastic couple warm friendly and helpful. Lovely facilities and a lovely breakfast
Very clean and well kept. Quiet peaceful location very close to the old monastery
All good
Real traditional Irish B&B. Not fancy to look at sure but such hospitality! Nothing too much trouble for the hosts who's love of hosting is infectious. Big Irish breaky of course. Warm cosy rooms. Minutes from clonmacnoise monastery, 20 min into shannonbridge for dinner and music and a pint.
Comfortable, warm accommodation with a wonderful, professionally prepared breakfast
When we arrived in complete darkness, the house was also dark and seemed uninhabited.
Quiet place, delicious full Irish breakfast, and Jo a very kind person.
To stay just only one night
Beautiful. Recommendable.
10km from nearest pub.
A quirky, friendly place in a delightful setting. It has the feeling of a hostel, but without the dingy furniture and obnoxious roommates.
Comfortable
Coffee! Not good at all
Finest hospitality, warm welcome, very kind couple, absolutely great breakfast, you immediately feel the warmth of being cared for, wonderfully calm surroundings, perfect for visiting the monastery, Thanks so much to our hosts! We felt deeply well in this lovely, so very Irish location near Shannon River.
Everthing was fine.
Joe was so welcoming we felt like we were home
Quiet countryside and lovely bedroom
Real B&B, confy rooms close to the Heritage site
Wonderful, homemade Irish breakfast. Joe was an incredible host and wonderful cook! We would go back and not think twice about it. He was GREAT! Sooooo quiet and very close to town.
Just a lovely host we felt like a part of the family Nothing was to much trouble for Joe Lovely Irish breakfast along with other options
Absolutely nothing
The comfortable beds, full Irish breakfast and the hospitality!
Nothing-perfect!
The hosts are very friendly, helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were very clean and had individual bathrooms. There was plenty of space, also for parking. The breakfast was complete and delicious. A very good location to explore the area. We also drove to the west coast around Galway and Connemara. Thank you for the nice stay!
We loved the privacy and spaciousness of our room, the friendliness of our host, and the simply huge incredible full Irish breakfast.
Jackie and Joe are so lovely hosts, if everyone was as nice as you two, the world would be a better place... we had a great time in your cosy B&B 🥰
Joe was SO Accommodating to us. He had somewhere to store our wet kit, he had cover for the bikes overnight, he worked around our schedule. The breakfasts were unbelievable, with every detail made to our liking. The rooms were very clean with fresh towels and toiletries. We could not have asked for more, but if we did I’m sure Joe would’ve done whatever he could have.
Nothing.
The hosts Joe and Jackie were exceptional, the friendliest people you will ever meet, the breakfast was fabulous 👌 would highly recommend Clonmacnoise B & B
Absolutely nothing, everything was top class.
Joe and Jackie were amazing hosts! They let us borrow two umbrellas and gave us a charger we were missing for my daughter’s headphones. They also helped make dinner reservations at Fallons Bar in nearby Shannonbridge and then confirmed a band playing in the Killen’s Pub next door to that so we got an authentic Irish experience! We stayed here because it’s halfway between the Cliffs of Moher and Dublin. We did Dublin one day and the Cliffs another. Worked perfect for us. And we even visited Clonmacnoise that is right next door which was great. Also, the breakfast was great and they were VERY flexible on what time to have breakfast ready for us which was perfect. Highly recommended!
Very comfortable room and really good breakfast. Great host. Excellent location for access to monastery.
Nothing was wrong with this property.
Extremely nice B&B owners - so friendly and lovely. You feel like being part of their family And they do gluten free also!
We really enjoyed our stay at Clonmacnouse B&B. Jackie and Joe were the best hosts and made us feel so welcome. Just like meeting old friends. Room was spacious and warm. The full Irish breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Definitely recommend and we'd love to return.
Joe is the quintessential Irish host who loves people and company. We loved staying with him.
The location is perfect for visiting Clonmacnoise and food in Shannon Bridge. The breakfast was delicious and Joe is a great host.
Beautiful, serene countryside setting. Nice room, comfy beds, large ensuite. Great television. The best Irish breakfast! Joe and Jackie wonderful. Shannonbridge a wee drive but good restaurant and very pretty
Would have come more prepared with some snacks, drinks etc if we knew how far to services.
A very warm welcome from our host with plenty of information about the local area and activities. Room large with equally roomy ensuite shower room and all facilities as described. The breakfast is excellent with full Irish or hot options freshly cooked by our host who was attentive but discrete throughout. Being in a rural area a car is essential for ease of getting about. The accommodation is very close to the Clonmacnoise monastic site which is very much worth visiting, as is the little town of Shannonbridge. There is seating on the rear patio which is a nice spot to chill out with a drink or to plan the next excursion.
The rural road adjoining the property has no pavements, so although walkable to the monastic site, it is not recommended, as daytime traffic transporting site visitors could be problematic. However, road is very quiet after site visiting hours. The monastic site has ample parking.
Lovely quiet location. Absolutely spotless. Kind and welcoming host. Very comfortable bed and the BEST home cooked breakfast.
Everything was amazing! NOTHING we didn't like.
Perfect for our needs
No negatives at all
Just what we wanted
Nothing
Breakfast was lovely.
Great host, nothing was too much! We booked one room, the other wasnt booked so we got that one too for free. Great hostmanship. Great breakfast!
Jackie was very nice! We enjoyed our stay. She gave us some nice recommendations of places to eat dinner in town. Lots of places to visit very close by.
Everything was nice.
Joe was very nice, helpful. Everything was perfect. thank you
Great full Irish Breakfast! Could use terrasse as well. Large bedroom and bath. Very quiet. Joe und Jackie are brilliant and friendly hosts.
Absolutely nothing to complain!
nice accommodation, 24-hour availability (we arrived around 11:30 p.m.), parking at the guesthouse, rich Irish breakfast
Beautiful location, absolutely lovely home.
Joe and Jackie are the kindest, most welcoming people. Their hospitality is amazing, with personal treatment and best service. The rooms are pretty and very clean, with the equipment needed for staying.
Joe was exceptionally welcoming and accommodated our need for an early breakfast, which was delicious and ample. It was a terrific stay that made me wish we had more time there!
Nothing!
The host couldn't have been more helpful. Beautiful house set amongst lovely countryside. Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast. Room and ensuite were immaculate.
Couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend this B&B
The hosts very kind and welcoming
Nothing
welcoming, spacious, clean
Everything had lovely relaxing stay. Breakfast was lovely am celiac joe had gluten free cornflakes and sausages .
We stayed at the Clonmacnoise B&B for 5 nights. Joe and Jackie are exceedingly gracious hosts who folded us into their family. Breakfast was unbelievable! "A full Irish breakfast" is a meal fit for a King! We had to leave at 4am to get to the Dublin Airport. Joe insisted on getting up to make us coffee and to cook breakfast so that we wouldn't have to stop along the way- so, so kind. Our stay was a delight from start to finish!
No negatives. I missed my own bed, but who doesn't?
Joe did a great job with breakfast and making us feel welcome. Rooms are spacious and well kept.
Can’t think of a thing!
The best night we had during our trip in Ireland ! The owners were so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. The place was really quiet, the room very big as well as the bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, we loved everything about that place !
