Peut-être quelques ajouts de confort fonctionnels mais rien d'indispensable comme une prise électrique dans la sdb, un miroir dans la chambre, des portes manteau x ou de quoi ranger quelques affaires, des lampes supplémentaires pour l'ambiance déjà très cosy 🙂

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Die Unterkunft ist schon sehr besonders. Eine Felsvertiefung mit hölzernen Vorbau wird als Schlafzimmer deklariert. Sehr spährisch. Nur die Nähe zur Hauptstrasse und das späte Kirchengeläute könnten stören. Den Besitzer haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt. Insgesammt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt !!!
Die Nähe zur Hauptstrasse, evtl. die Toilette etwas geräuschloser / intimer.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Da es eine sehr spezielle Unterkunft ist, treffen die Fragen nicht exakt zu. Diese Grotte ist sehr ideenreich angelegt. Aber deshalb auch nur spärlich ausgestattet. Es ist alles da was man benötigt, keine Frage. Aber es ist halt schon ein "Event". Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, alles Online und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück haben wir uns an dem ersten Morgen kommen lassen. Für das was es bot, war es hochpreisig.
Man könnte noch einen Tisch und einen Schirm vor der Unterkunft aufstellen.

La réservation et la procédure pour accéder à l'hébergement sont très claires. La chambre était très confortable, de même que le lit. La salle de bain dans la roche, c'est génial ! Le petit déjeuner doit être commandé et est livré à la porte.
Peut-être une prise de courant dans la salle de bain ?

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Die Übernachtung in der Grotte ist definitiv sehr einzigartig und auch romantisch. Für ein bis zwei Nächte ist es sehr besonders und zu Fuß erreicht man die Innenstadt in weniger als 15 Minuten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Grotte liegt oberhalb einer anderen Ferienwohnung und ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Da das Gebüsch daneben ziemlich verwachsen ist, ist es etwas schwierig die Treppe hinauf zu stiegen, wenn man Gepäck trägt. Außerdem muss man damit klar kommen, dass sich die ein oder anderen Insekten in den Felsspalten verstecken. Wir fanden den Preis etwas zu hoch.

Zdjęcia nie oddają w pełni tego, jak wyjątkowe miejsce czeka na gości na miejscu – rzeczywistość zdecydowanie przewyższyła nasze oczekiwania. Wszystko było perfekcyjnie czyste i starannie przygotowane na nasz przyjazd. Kontakt z właścicielem również zasługuje na najwyższą ocenę – był bardzo pomocny i uprzejmy. Dodatkowym atutem była możliwość zameldowania się aż 2 godziny wcześniej, co bardzo doceniliśmy.
Jedynym niewielkim minusem był wyczuwalny zapach wilgoci, jednak jest to całkowicie zrozumiałe, biorąc pod uwagę wyjątkowy charakter obiektu mieszczącego się w jaskini. Przydałaby się również nieco większa umywalka, która ułatwiłaby umycie naczyń po śniadaniu. Dodatkowo brakowało kilku półek lub niewielkiej szafki na ubrania i osobiste rzeczy, co pozwoliłoby wygodniej rozpakować bagaż podczas pobytu. Są to jednak drobne szczegóły, które nie wpłynęły na nasz bardzo pozytywny odbiór tego miejsca.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Wir haben eine Nacht in der Grotte verbracht und es war wirklich ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. So detailreich, ein wirklich gut durchdachtes Konzept. Vor allem die Dusch ist genial. Es gibt auch einen Wasserkocher und eine Kaffeemaschine. Also uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und würden es jedem weiterempfehlen, der mal in der Gegend ein Zimmer sucht.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Amazing and quirky accommodation with the cave forming the rear wall. The room was warm, dry and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The front catches the evening sun over the river and is great for a sundowner. Overall a romantic spot for me and my neanderthal wife.
It is a 1000m walk into Dinant along the river, but that was lovely for us.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Een fantastisch mooie en unieke kamer, vlakbij de stad van Dinant. De details in de kamer maakte de sfeer. Weinig mensen kunnen zeggen dat ze in een grot hebben mogen slapen. Ook het uitzicht op de rivier was mooi.
De wcbril zat een beetje los, maar is waarschijnlijk zo te fixen.

On a pas eu la chance de voir qui que ce soit ...je trouve que rapport qualité prix pour moi est un peu cher ( pas de livres, magazines, jeux,...) pas évident de remplir les machines a café vu le petit évier et juste 2 petites bouteilles d eau...a voir pour la magie mais je n y reviendrai pas

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025De accommodatie ziet er prachtig uit, er is goed nagedacht over de inrichting. Het bed ligt goed en het is fijn dat er een koelkastje, thee-koffie en wat bestek beschikbaar is. Ook was het goed te verwarmen!
Praktisch gezien is er nog veel aan de accomodatie niet goed. Er is bijvoorbeeld geen manier van ventileren, de ventilatoren in de badkamer zuigen niet goed aan en er is inmiddels zowel schimmel door de gehele badkamer als in de slaapruimte. ‘S nachts zetten wij het raam open voor wat frisse lucht. Helaas moest deze gauw weer dicht doordat de schoorsteenpijp van de onderburen pal voor het raam stond: de kamer vol rook. Daarnaast was er onwijs veel lawaai van zowel de weg als de goederentreinen die regelmatig langsreden. Het vervelendste vonden wij nog de lage deurpost naar de badkamer. Deze is maar 175cm hoog, waardoor mijn partner hier meermaals hard tegenaan is gelopen: onwijs gevaarlijk. Verder zijn er onbedekte elektriciteitskabels, een losse wc-bril, een ongediertestekker die de hele nacht flitst, … Wij balen van ons verblijf hier.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Adorei tudo na estadia. Era um quanto diferente, mas muito bem pensado. Adorei o duche também. E tivemos a possibilidade de reservar o pequeno almoço na gruta, ficou ainda melhor. O fato de ser tão perto do centro, foi ótimo para caminhar à beira rio. Aconselho vivamente.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Quirky accommodation with exposed rock in the main room and bathroom. Fridge was very useful. It was away from the bustle of central Dinant and the noise from the road outside wasn't much of an issue either. Bed comfortable. We brought our own breakfast. Nice big shower space.
The bathroom sink is about as small as it can be and with a shelf above it makes it very difficult to wash your face. The main room could do with a rail and clothes hangers.

The location couldn’t be better, right next to the river, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was excellent – very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We really appreciated the effort the host put into making the accommodation so atmospheric and special. Highly recommended for a unique stay in Dinant!
