Très bel appartement avec une vue incroyable ! Bien aménagé. Place dans le garage. Proche de Vevey, Montreux, Lavaux et la maison de Chaplin. Des hôtes accessibles et prévenants.

Mooie ligging met prachtig uitzicht, exact zoals op de foto. Volledig ingericht, met zeer complete keuken. Mooie ruime slaapkamer met comfortabel bed. Twee supermarkten op 2 minuten lopen. Ook vlak bij het treinstation naar Vevey, van daaruit alle mogelijkheden. Wij hebben genoten!

Wij verbleven met 4 volwassenen, dus 2 personen sliepen op de bedbank. Dit was wat minder comfortabel, de bedbank kraakte bij elke beweging.

A beautiful and welcoming apartment, very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. The view is wonderful and the apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. We had a very pleasant stay and especially appreciated the comfort and lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Die Aussicht war noch schön, die Matratzen waren solide und der Parkplatz in der Garage war praktisch.

Die 2-Zimmer-Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die Vermieter wohnen im Stockwerk darüber. Die Luft in der Wohnung empfanden wir als eher feucht. Direkt neben der Wohnung befindet sich der Waschraum. Am meisten störte uns der deutlich muffige Geruch in der Wohnung. Besonders nachts empfanden wir den Geruch als sehr unangenehm, wodurch unser Schlaf beeinträchtigt wurde. In der Wohnung befand sich zudem ein Duftdiffusor. Im Badezimmer waren an mehreren Stellen dunkle Flecken beziehungsweise Verfärbungen sichtbar. Zusammen mit dem Raumklima und dem Geruch empfanden wir dies als unangenehm. An den Fenstern waren keine Moskitonetze vorhanden. Wegen der Insekten konnten wir die Fenster nachts nicht so offen lassen, wie wir es aufgrund des Raumklimas gerne getan hätten. Die Wohnung war insgesamt sehr einfach eingerichtet. Kaffee war vorhanden, Zucker, Öl oder Servietten jedoch nicht. Diese Dinge waren im Angebot zwar nicht als Ausstattung aufgeführt, bei einem Preis von fast CHF 300 für eine Nacht wäre eine etwas grosszügigere Grundausstattung dennoch schön gewesen. Insgesamt hätten wir in diesem Preissegment mehr Komfort erwartet. Auch der Check-out um 10.00 Uhr war für uns eher früh. Insgesamt entsprach das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht unseren Erwartungen.

The host couple are very friendly. They handed over the keys in person and also gave a room tour, explaining the facilities and equipment in detail. Additionally, they gave me a box of chocolates as a welcome treat. Also, as a self-driving guest, they were very considerate and offered me a parking space in the garage. When I checked in, Switzerland was very hot, and they thoughtfully prepared a Dyson cooling fan in the room, which kept me very comfortable. In addition, they also offer a paid laundry service, which is great for long‑term travelers who need to do laundry. The accommodation is very spacious, with a standard layout of a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The host couple are really nice; I arrived earlier than the check‑in time, and they were willing to provide free luggage storage service.

There is nothing to be dissatisfied with—it's very good. If I have to mention one thing, though, it's that the accommodation can be a bit difficult to find the first time you arrive, because it's located on a hillside and it's easy to take a wrong turn or get lost. It would be better if more detailed directions or a map on how to get there could be provided. All in all, it's a very good place to stay.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, phantastischer Blick von der Terrasse und aus dem Fenstern. Ruhig gelegen, trotzdem nah an öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Man findet selten eine Ferienwohnung, die so geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, mit denen ich mich öfter sehr angenehm unterhalten habe. Dadurch konnte ich ein wenig französisch üben, es wird aber auch Deutsch gesprochen. Prima Ausflugstipps und Hinweise zur Nutzung des im Preis enthaltenen Tickets für den Nahverkehr gab es zusätzlich. La Chiesaz bietet praktisch vor der Haustür schöne Wanderwege (die Almwiesen mit den Narzissen sind zauberhaft). Das nahegelegene Vevey bietet Museen und Kultur, ein schönes Hallenbad und Freibad. Lausanne, Montreux, Thonon les Bains oder Schloss Gruyère waren für Ausflüge gut zu erreichen. Ein Tag der Dampfeisenbahn im Nachbarort hat mir große Freude bereitet.

Die Waschmaschine bzw. der Trockner befinden sich leider nicht in der Wohnung. Aber auf Nachfrage erhielt ich den in der Beschreibung erwähnten Wäscheständer. So konnte ich ein paar Sachen einfach mit der Hand auswaschen. Während der ersten Tage (Mitte Mai) war das Wetter recht kalt, doch leider darf man den Kamin, der auf den Fotos abgebildet und in der Inventarliste aufgeführt war, nicht benutzen. Das fand ich ein bisschen schade. Das Appartement war allerdings jederzeit gut geheizt. Vielleicht komme ich im Herbst einmal wieder, dann frage ich vorher, ob ein Abend mit Kaminfeuer möglich wäre. Ich erwähne diese Punkte nur der Vollständigkeit halber. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung gut gelegen, hervorragend ausgestattet und sauber, somit sehr empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehme und wirklich besonders nette Leute.

Die ruhige Lage und der wunderschöne Blick auf den See. Die gute verkehrstechnische Anbindung. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist prima; es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Der freundliche und sehr zugewandte, unkomplizierte Kontakt zu dem Vermieter. Er hat es uns ermöglicht, dass wir unmittelbar nach Ankunft eine gute Orientierung hatten und die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden konnten. Wir werden sehr gern wiederkommen. Danke für die gute Zeit.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter les environs, sans avoir besoin de sa voiture ce qui est très confortable. L'appartement est lumineux, tout le nécessaire y est pour pouvoir cuisiner. Magnifique terrasse. Accueil chaleureux, merci beaucoup.

Malgré l'effort de nos hôtes qui habitent au-dessus, on entend tout de même leurs pas. La location reste tout de même un excellent choix.

Wir waren mit 2 kleinen Kindern unterwegs und die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, auch mit einigen Spielzeugen und es war sogar weihnachtlich geschmückt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein Kinder Spielplatz sind in laufnähe

The owner was very kind, polite and helpful. The room was very clean and nice. The view from the room was amazing. It was also conveniently located near the train station and supermarkets.Our family had a wonderful time. We are very grateful.

It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and explained us everything we needed to know. Near us there were some restaurants and supermarkets and the train station is also just a 3 minute walk from the house. You also get an amazing view with beautiful sunsets!

Everything is great

Very clean, nicely decorated, friendly owners who were also very helpful regarding the surrounding area. Very close to the train, just a 2 min walk. Also very close to a new Coop which is a very nice place to shop for food. Apartment in a nice quiet area, also the apartment had a great view of lake Geneva.

Nothing apart from it was a little difficult to find initially.

Super luxury apartment. Brand new. You have the feeling it's decorated not for renting but for your own home. Spaceous, cozy, and extremely clean. Settled amongst green trees and flowers, far away from the ciry noise and hectic atmosphere. Magnificent view to the Geneva Lake. 2 groceries 2-5 min away. Very friendly housekeepers.

This was a last minute booking for us and it went so well. They had space inside the garage to park our car. The owners live above the apartment and they were so kind and accommodating. We met in person for the keys and a tour of the apartment. They also showed my husband where he could cut though the upper garden to reach two grocery stores which had everything we needed for ourselves and two small children. These store were maybe a 3 and 4 minute walk respectively. You could also reach a train stop in maybe a 3 minute walk, and a playground that is even closer. Transportation tickets were provided so we were able to travel within the region for free. this could get you to Montreux downtown and christmas market area, and we also used it to get to Chillon Castle for free. The apartment itself is lovely. there's a mudroom space to remove shoes, a well stocked kitchen. They provided a high chair, and mentioned they had a travel crib being delivered soon. The tub was great for our kids. the bed was comfortable and the space was very cozy. The city turns off the heat between 10PM and 6AM, but the apartment retained heat and it wasn't an issue for us.

This is a beautiful, clean, and well situated property. We rented a car but did not need one. The free public travel pass was amazing and allowed quick, easy, and stress free travel. This apartment is perfect if you are visiting a student at Chateau d’Hauteville (less than 5 minute drive and probably a 2 minute train ride to the front gate of the school). The apartment has everything you need to cook and wash clothing. It is also within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. The hosts are friendly and helpful - we will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay there. The hosts were really careful and helpful. They adapted themselves to our needs and schedules, were available all the time, attended immediately to our questions and requests, and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The house is very cozy and quiet, there is a supermarket very close where we shopped and we cook in the apartment. Everything was very clean and equipped. The location is perfect, close to all the tourist places of interest and there is a train stop just a few meters away. Our kids felt as at home. We will definitely come back in the future, because we loved the experience. 100% recommended

The hosts were incredibly hospitable and dealt with all issues as quickly as possible. The hosts gave us a great opportunity to travel free of charge on public transportation throughout the riviera with the Montreux Riviera Card. This card includes a lot of discounts on museums, ships, etc.... The train stop is a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Absolute cleanliness, perfectly equipped with everything you need, breathtaking view of Lake Geneva.

The weather was cold on the days we were in the apartment and there were a couple nights it was a little chilly in the apartment.
