Die Unterkunft war ein Traum 🤩, den oberen Stock nur für uns, sprich zwei Personen. Der Wintergarten und die Terrasse waren echt komfortabel. Das Frühstück war ein Gedicht. Eine echte Empfehlung im privaten Bereich.

first of all, friendly, kind and warm hosts. the entire second floor with a large terrace belongs only to us. on the terrace there are sun loungers, chairs for a cozy rest. the room has a newly built shower and toilet. the hosts are very helpful in all matters, there is an opportunity to wash clothes. there is a beautiful viewpoint nearby. delicious homemade breakfast prepared by the hosts. Nice Calheta sandy beach its just 10min driving. everything is just great.

It's not a big deal, especially for us, but keep in mind that the entrance to the second floor is through the owner's living room. After entering through the front door, there is a straight staircase to the guest room.

Am besten fanden wir die interessanten Gespräche mit den Vermietern. Mit vielen guten Tipps konnten wir täglich gut gewappnet tolle Restaurants entdecken und Levadas etc. erkunden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, der Empfang war sehr herzlich, die Ausstattung perfekt, sehr sauber und die Aussicht genial. Das Frühstück wurde immer sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Wir werden bestimmt mal wieder vorbei kommen.

A casa excedeu as expetativas, bem localizada junto á via rápida, confortável, inclui zona de lazer e terraço. Pequeno-almoço de muita boa qualidade, de acordo com as preferências pessoais. Sara e John são muito simpáticos e prestáveis, sempre dispostos a ajudar. Relação qualidade-preço muito favorável. Amplamente recomendado.

Sara and John (along with their absolutely lovely dog, Ziva) are perfect, warm-hearted hosts who go out of their way to cater to your every need. You immediately feel genuinely welcome here and completely at home. The location, with its stunning views, huge private terrace and large windows in the guest living area, is incredibly beautiful. Sara is also a gifted cook who conjures up true culinary masterpieces using her own herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit from her garden... we therefore very much appreciated that she cooked for us in the evening on request. This was by far the best accommodation we’ve ever had in Madeira or anywhere else and we really travel a lot.... we would have loved to stay for another 8 days and can highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything, dear Sara and John – if we come to Madeira again, it’ll only be to stay with you for sure!!! Best wishes from Silke and Martin

Wir haben die Herzlichkeit von John und Sara gemocht und Siwa der Boxerhündin. Das Bett war super bequem und der schöne Wintergarten war nur für uns mit einer Flasche Wein und kleinem Kühlschrank. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, und haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Das gesamte Obergeschoss steht den Gästen zur Verfügung - auch ein Wintergarten und eine rundum Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Hier bist du nicht nur Gast, sondern Teil der Familie. Ein individuell gestaltetes Frühstück jeden Morgen, und viele nützliche Tipps haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht

Le logement est super avec une terrasse et une véranda rien que pour nous, avec une large vue dégagée. Sara et John sont des hôtes très sympathiques et attentionnés, ils vous donneront tous les conseils que vous souhaitez. Le petit-déjeuner (personnalisé) est exceptionnel. L'accès à la maison se fait par une petite rue avec une petite manœuvre à faire pour se garer. Et l'accès au logement partage la même entrée que la maison des hôtes

Najlepsze miejsce do zatrzymania się na Maderze! Jak wracać to tylko tutaj. Sara i John przyjęli nas bardzo ciepło, są to bardzo życzliwi i pomocni ludzie. Chętnie dzielili się z nami swoim doświadczeniem i opowiadali o wyspie. Miejsca, które polecili nam zobaczyć, były piękne i wyjątkowe. Mieszkanie bardzo ładne, dużo miejsca. Sara i John zapewnili nam maksimum prywatności. Bardzo dobrze wyposażone, lepiej niż pokoje hotelowe. Z tarasu był widok na ocean. Śniadania smaczne, świeże owoce i regionalne smaki. Lokalizacja dobra, w okolicy sklepy, dobre restauracje, ciche i spokojne sąsiedztwo.

Nie było takiej rzeczy.

John en Sara zijn prachtige mensen met een verhaal , we hebben goede gesprekken gehad. Het ontbijt was helemaal af, top. De kamer was zeer ruim en de aparte zithoek was ideaal. Het restaurant Chico was op wandelafstand en biedt locale, lekkere gerechten aan. Alles was hier top!

Man wohnt privat bei den Wirtsleuten. Diese sind die liebsten Gastgeber, die man sich nur vorstellen kann! Der Balkon mit Meerblick ist als Wintergarten gebaut - super, wenn das Wetter mal nicht perfekt ist.

Sara und John haben uns ein individuelles Frühstück mit frischen Zutaten zusammengestellt (Brot, frisches Obst). Besonders lecker waren die Buchweizen-Pfannkuchen.

Heerlijk ontbijt met voldoende keuze en persoonlijke aandacht. De locatie was gunstig gelegen voor de wandelingen in die regio. Veel goede tips voor wandelingen en restaurants in de omgeving.

Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte, da es leider nicht länger zu buchen war. Wir müssen leider nur 10 Punkte vergeben, das es mehr nicht gibt. Wir reisen viel, aber das was uns hier an Gastfreundschaft erwartet hat, haben wir noch nie erlebt. Mega leckeres Frühstück, es wird auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Es gibt Tipps für die ganze Insel. Ist sogar mit dem eigenen Auto vor gefahren, das wir es auch nicht verfehlen. Tolle Restaurant Tipps inkl. Reservierung und beim verabschieden wurden wir noch für 2 Tage später zum Abendessen eingeladen, weil die Frau so super kocht. Wo gibt es denn sowas? Wir kommen wieder und dann für 7 Tage. Da buche ich sogar den Flug nach Zimmerverfügbarkeit wenn es sein muss.

Staying with Sara and Jon was great. They were very welcoming and friendly. They offered to show us around if we wanted, but they were also happy to stay aside and let us explore everything by ourselves, depending on what we preferred. They engaged in interesting talks, but didn't pushed us into talking. The breakfast was great, prepared with much details (some beautiful flowers) and tailored to our wishes. We had the whole upper level for our self, including the balcony and a relaxing second room. Everything was extremely clean, we had much space and Sara and Jon thought of everything. All in all, we can highly recommend staying here.

Sarah und John sind zwei wirklich herzliche Gastgeber, welche sich rührend um uns kümmerten. Es entstand in der kurzen Zeit unseres Aufenthalts (1 Woche) ein vertrautes Verhältnis. Interessant und unterhaltsam waren die Gespräche sowohl beim Frühstück als auch nach Ende unserer Tagesausflüge. Das Frühstück war immer große Klasse und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Die Lage fanden wir ideal, um einerseits den schönen Westen der Insel mit kurzen Fahrtzeiten zu erkunden, und um andererseits relativ schnell auch in Funchal zu sein. Schön die Terrasse und die verglaste Sitzecke mit Blick auf den Ozean.

Dazu fällt uns nichts ein. :-)

Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag frisch und individuell zubereitet. Man konnte einen Zettel ausfüllen, wo man die verschiedene Bestandteile des Frühstücks zusammenstellen konnte. Auf sämtliche Bedürfnisse und Fragen wurde eingegangen. Die Lage ist sehr angenehm: höher gelegen, nicht touristisch, Meerblick.

John et Sarah sont de super hôtes, au petit soin, toujours là pour nous venir en aide, nous conseiller. C’est ce que nous recherchons dans une chambre d’hôtes, le partage. Ils sont adorables et leur chienne aussi !! Très bon petit déjeuner. Merci beaucoup à eux.

RAS. Si il y avait qu’une seule chose à dire, la salle de bain est spartiate mais tout à fait correcte.

We found very good accommodation with Sara and John. The room was large and everything was very clean. We had our own bathroom with shampoo and hand soap and fresh towels. 
For breakfast we could choose the time and from eggs, omelettes, fresh fruit, meat, cheese and much more. We had great conversations with the two of them and they gave us lots of tips for walks and restaurants in the surrounding area. As we were on Madeira for a week of hiking we chose to spend two nights on the west of the Island . Prazeres is ideally situated for this as it is a short ride to the 25 Fontes, Levada Nova and Moinho hikes as well as to the Fanal Forest. Also to Port Moniz and the fantastic look out at the Ponta da Pargo lighthouse. The room is spacious and has an accompanying sun room facing west for great sunset views. Even has a telescope for star gazing. On arrival there was a bottle of wine cheese and crackers awaiting. Also on arrival we did a wash and dry of our clothes on site- no charge. As others have mentioned Sarah and John are amazing hosts- no request too big. Their recommendations for local restaurants were spot on for us- within 15 minutes - great food and eating with mainly locals. At breakfast we so enjoyed our chats about Madeira and other matters and were sorry we had to leave to get on the hiking trails early. Breakfast made on the spot and we were allowed to take what was left to take on our hikes for lunch. After a two day stay we left feeling like friends for life

To idealne miejsce na kameralny pobyt na wyspie. Sypialnia była przestronna, starannie przygotowana, dodatkowo pokój dzienny do wyłącznej dyspozycji z oszałamiającym widokiem na ocean. Właściciele to cudowni, bardzo życzliwi ludzie. Dbają o najmniejsze detale podczas pobytu. Zawsze chętnie doradzą, gdzie zaparkować, co zobaczyć, jak dojechać i oczywiście, gdzie dobrze zjeść i wypić. W ich domu można się poczuć jak u rodziny, bo tak traktują swoich gości. Śniadania bardzo smaczne, dostosowane w 100 % do wymagań gości - polecamy omlety Pana Domu. Polecamy to miejsce!

Total liebe Gastgeber*innen mit tollen Tipps. Man hat einfach ein gutes Gefühl dort zu sein. Auch der Hund ist total süß und lieb. Das Frühstück ist Klasse (hier wird auch auf besondere wünsche eingegangen).

Chambre chez l’habitant, John et Sara sont très accueillant, la chambre est spacieuse, véranda et terrasse réservées à votre usage, petites attentions d’accueil, petit déjeuner copieux et personnalisé, produits frais, de nombreux restaurants dans prazeres. Très bien placé pour l’Ouest de l’île.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei John und Sara! Die beiden sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir haben viele super Tipps für unseren Urlaub bekommen und das Frühstück war tatsächlich grandios! Das Zimmer mit eigener Sonnenterasse und kleinem Wohnzimmer ist sehr komfortabel und alles ist sehr sauber. John und Sara haben uns sogar Regenjacken geliehen als es regnete und wir nicht ausreichend ausgestattet waren - very Sweet!

Also, after hiking in the morning, it was great to be able to relax on the terasse with a great view of the ocean and the mountains! Definitely, I recommend staying with them! Accueil très chaleureux de Sara et John. L'hébergement est à l'intérieur de leur domicile, mais isolé de leur partie privative car il est à l'étage. C'est même une suite, car, outre la chambre et la salle de bains, on dispose d'un petit salon télé qui domine la baie (belle vue sur l'océan). John nous a aidé à résoudre notre problème de location de voiture très gentiment.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Sara und John. Die beiden sind super herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber. Wir bekamen jeden Morgen ein sehr leckeres, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück serviert (man kann am Tag vorher vorbestellen, was man gerne haben möchte). Die beiden haben uns super Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Von der Dachterrasse hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Eine Unterkunft mit Herz. John, der Besitzer der Unterkunft ist so ein herzlicher Mensch, der uns sofort willkommen geheißen hat. Seine Frau war leider verreist. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ausgezeichnet ausgestattet. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet um den östlichen Teil der Insel zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war phenomenal! Man konnte sich aussuchen was man gerne essen möchte! Wir bekamen jeden Morgen frische exotische Früchte! Wir waren mehr als begeistert und würden jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen!

Goed uitgangspunt voor tochten over het eiland. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. Naast de kamer ook een serre én terras om heerlijk te zitten en te genieten van de zee/bergen. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig, behulpzaam en gastvrij.

Sara et John (et leur 2 adorables chiens) sont vraiment des hôtes incroyables, nous avons été reçu parfaitement, avec des petits déjeuners frais et incroyables et de belles petites Attentions à l'arrivée. La maison est dans un lieu paisible, vous avez votre propre espace à l'étage avec un petit frigo et bouilloire. La vue est superbe, l'extérieur agréable et une belle loggia même sous la pluie ! On se sent comme chez soit, avec en prime de supers conseils pour manger et se balader sur cette belle île !
