No dish washing liquid or sponges to wash dishes. Terrible pillows. SO MUCH MOULD ON WINDOWS. DISGUSTING. No communication about needing your host to be present in order to go to the lagoon. No clear instructions about how the facilities work.

The staff that was attending me lied to me. So he sent me a message with instructions on what is expected and part of that was a R1000 of deposit just in case there’s damage being broken stuff or noise which is refundable upon check out. He didn’t send it back even after constantly texting him and reminding him. he goes by the name Basi Lebusho unit 1507 block 151. Beware of his scam.

I expected to stay the whole day on Saturday in lagoon however I learned that the rules have changed, the check out time is the check out time for the lagoon as well. I believe this needs to be added on advert.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025My family and I enjoyed the lagoon, the restaurant and the games room. It looked exactly like the pictures and didn't disappoint.
The curtains were torn and dirty in the main bedroom and lounge. The toilet seat cover in the main bathroom is broken and the toilet seat cover in the guest bathroom was completely off and put away in the bedroom closet. The dishcloths in the kitchen were filthy and so were the mugs. We most certainly did not get value for our money. Also we had to constantly ask our host to provide a code to leave the premises, I should not have to ask for permission or explain myself to someone when I am on holiday, as to why I want to go out. We even cancelled our site seeing plans on Sunday because it was to much of a hassel trying to get the code, and at one point we could not reach our host at all, thus making my husband late for work because the security guards refused to let him leave the premises. This was the worst holiday booked through booking.com. Please do better, we work hard for our money and to spend it on sub- par accommodation is unacceptable.

It was hard to get hold of our host, getting information or feedback from him took forever. The water on the basin in the toilet was not coming out we always had to use the shower water. There was no cleaning detergents available. We had to use powder soap to wash dishes.

Security was very rude from arrival until we left only went out twice but the struggle of going in and departure had to carry our heavy bags out. I went for the biometrics registration only to find out later that day I was not registered the guy mislead me to thinking I'm registered. I would never go back because of the security.

They are quick to take your money, but since Friday, no one gave me assistance! I needed to see people from Cape Town in Pretoria and had to cancel because I didn't have money to make another booking!!!

The restaurant was short staffed, so we waited long for our order. The guy at the gate office is a horrible person with a bad attitude, he is bad for this business. At the boats, there was only one life guard who did everything in his power to service all of us alone. He worked tirelessly and diligently on making sure everyone was satisfied, It really was a lot for him, it was sad to witness that, him collecting tickets, boarding people into boats, getting others out, choosing suitable life jackets for people and watching over everyone that’s already in the water.

Unfortunately the apartment was dirty all of it. The kitchen, the windows, curtains, the bed and especially because it’s white,the towels, and things were broken. Unfortunately there was no tea and coffee station, there was no dustbin plastics, the apartment was dusty, so we had to clean ourselves,there was no house keeping, meaning one towel the whole weekend. The tv isn’t a smart tv, you can’t watch Netflix, Showmax ect. The host was available on call when we needed codes.
