Reviewed Jul 20, 202610/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a really great stay at Yee Hotel Permas Jaya! The room was clean, cozy, and came with an air purifier, which was a really nice touch. The aircond was super cold, making the room extra comfortable after a long day. For just RM100+ per night, I honestly didn’t expect this level of quality and service. The hotel also provides free parking and has a lift, which made carrying luggage up to the room so much easier. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially the receptionist and the housekeeping team. The receptionist explained everything clearly from A to Z during check-in, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. Housekeeping was also polite, approachable, and always greeted us with a smile. Overall, this hotel offers amazing value for money. It definitely felt like staying in a hotel that costs much more. Comfortable room, excellent service, and a great experience from start to finish. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

A Hitachi EP-A3000 air purifier is provided in the room, along with an additional basket of charcoal placed on top of the wardrobe, which helps reduce cigarette odour effectively. As someone highly sensitive to cigarette smoke, I truly appreciate that the air purifier worked very well, making the 2-night stay manageable. Do keep up the good maintenance of this unit. The bed firmness suits my personal preference, allowing us to sleep reasonably well. Staying over the New Year period, we were able to catch brief glimpses of fireworks from the 2nd floor, as many displays were happening across the road behind the building. The location is convenient, with plenty of food and massage options just across the road—easily accessible via the overhead bridge near AEON Mall or a short drive away. Overall, while the hotel provides a clean room and an effective air purification system, guests who are sensitive to cigarette smoke, noise, or who value daily housekeeping and visible fire safety information may wish to take these factors into consideration before booking.
We were not aware beforehand that this hotel is very smoking-friendly. Upon entering the lift and walking along the corridor, the cigarette smell was strong and quite suffocating. The presence of an ashtray on the table further suggests that smoking is actively encouraged within the hotel. The room window faces the main road, resulting in noticeable traffic noise, especially at night. Due to New Year celebrations, fireworks noise lasted from around 10pm until close to 1am, which may be disruptive for light sleepers. From a fire safety perspective, there is no escape route or evacuation layout map displayed in the room, which is a concern. There was no room service or housekeeping during the stay—no bed making, rubbish clearing, or towel replacement. This may be because the stay was only two nights, but this was not mentioned during check-in, so clearer communication would be appreciated.
