L’hôte était réactif et la chambre était propre

Il y avait plein de cafards dans la cuisine, nous en avons eu aussi dans la chambre et les ustensiles de cuisine étaient sales

Poca limpieza en el lugar.

Don Jhon es una persona súper atenta y amable, el espacio está bien según la relación precio calidad, tenía baño, no está dentro de la habitación pero si de uso privado, utensilios en la cocina, y en general el lugar está bien.

Podría tener un TV en el interior de la habitación, el agua se va constantemente pero don Jhon tiene una bomba que soluciona todo, las llaves del candado exterior están un poquito oxidadas.

Very comfortable room and beds, AC strong and cold, host was very friendly and helpful, nice local vibes type of neighbourhood, close enough to walk to many sights, groceries and convenience stores nearby

Lock on bedroom door can be opened using ANY key, so unfortunately not secure..Also shower often didn’t work or stopped working (but usually came back within a few minutes)

Todo muy cómodo el sitio familiar y cerca de todo.

No hacen aseo en las habitaciones y al llegar ell primer día olía muy feo, como a húmedo y pues ya el último dia mi vuelo era a media noche y yo estaba con una niña de 1 año y otra de 10 y apenas fue el check out me sacaron y ni al baño pude ingresar, lo bueno es q si me tuvieron las maletas como hasta las 5pm

El barrio

Estuvimos muy cómodos en la habitación y haciendo uso de la cocina y comedor. El propietario nos aconsejó en todo lo que le pedimos y más.

La ubicación, la amabilidad de los anfitriones.

En la descripción decía baño privado y pues en realidad no lo era. Había un baño para la habitación solicitada pero no estaba dentro de la misma habitación, era afuera lo que hacía incómodo para bañarse, salir en toalla, cambiarse.

Great spot in a local area within walking distance of the tourist/party areas. From the balcony you can see the daily life of the locals. Pupo has amazing local knowledge and is super friendly and willing to help or accompany you.

Pupo es muy amable y servicial, ofrece los tour a buen precio y te recomienda ciertos puntos de la ciudad para visitar, es muy amable… nos dejó quedarnos un poco más de la hora del check out.

Appartement sale, vétuste, toilettes bouchées, évier qui fuit, quartier éloigné du centre, ... Le propriétaire fait la fête toute la nuit avec ses potes, musique à fond, alcool, bruit +++ La note de Booking.com est totalement fausse, erronée ...

The location was very good. The owner was a very nice man and was very knowledgeable of the area to instruct me what was available to do and see. Nice air conditioning, had to turn it down a little to keep from getting too cold. I would highly recommend it. Clean with a comfortable bed, and a decent sized room.

Family room is clean and spacious. Wifi works well. The historic center is just 20 min far by walk. The owner is super nice, provifing the tips and tours.

There is no good soundproof in the rooms.

Nice room, A/C worked perfectly, loved having the kitchen available (including the fridge) and ample seating space at the kitchen counter - plus a small table next to the window. Our host was outstanding,very friendly, checking in at least once a day with us to make sure everything was all right, and keeping the place nice and clean. Conversation with him was easy, whether sports, the weather, general news, he was always up to date.

The only negative point was not even with the lodging itself, but the neighbors across the street who managed to keep us awake on 3 different nights with their very very loud music until the wee hours of the morning. Total disregard for anyone in the street... This was, again, not our host's fault but would make me want to make sure with him that there are no celebrations going on if we return to Cartagena at some point in the future. Loved the place but could do without the neighbors :(

Super comfy bed with extremely effective AC. Good shower pressure. Fully-equipped kitchen for cooking and plenty of stores within 1-2 blocks. I loved the location in a residential neighborhood, away from the traffic and noise of the touristy areas but with easy access and proximity to them. I felt secure in the hostel, and safe in the neighborhood. The best part of Casa Pupo is the host, Jhon, who made me feel comfortable and at home. He even took the time to introduce me to the local corner scene and a bunch of the neighbors, which was awesome. If you're lucky, he might bust out the karaoke machine - he has an amazing singing voice! Overall, a great value and an excellent experience. I'll definitely stay there if I ever get back to CTG.. and hopefully get in on one of the tourist packages he offers at a lower rate than the local agencies with super convenient pick-up / drop-off at the end of the block.

The pillows aren't great, and it would be nice if there was a chair in the room... I ended up commandeering one from the common area.

Everything was as pictured. The apartment is well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms is very efficient. The location is a short taxi ride from the airport and the fantastic central districts of Centro and Getsemani. I had complete privacy but the host lives very close to the property so is always on hand if required. He is really nice and went out of his way to help me with booking tours and giving advice on things like safety and local amenities. There were no guests arriving on the day I left so he very kindly let me check out late.

Although my experience was overwhelmingly positive, the noise from the street was very loud from about 6.30am. The area seemed safe during the day, but at night, as is the case in many parts of the city, it's probably wisest to get taxis to and from your door after dark just in case. Local taxi apps such as InDrive make this really quick, easy and cheap.

The location is good, not far from the beach. The host was really nice.

Nothing really, but there is a restaurant or bar close by that played loud music until 4 in the morning once or twice a week.
