Very friendly owner. Good communication. Always there when needed. Washing machine and dryer was great to have.

One has to get used to the fact, that it is a very small kitchen and it does not include a sink. But that is in the description.

We had a really lovely stay here. The owner was incredibly kind and flexible; we actually messed up our booking dates, but he went out of his way to get the apartment ready for us anyway. The view over Ålesund is fantastic, and it’s perfectly located for the hike to the island’s highest peak. It was also a nice touch to find such a great selection of teas, which was perfect to come back to after a day of exploring.

Exceptionality clean in a good location with a nice view. The host was so helpful and hospitable. Especially our child enjoyed lots of toys available there thanks to the host.

Die Lage war fantastisch. Ein wundervoller Ausblick nach Ålesund.

In der Beschreibung ist angegeben, dass es einen gemeinsamen Eingang gibt. Leider war uns nicht klar, dass der Flur, von dem das eine Schlafzimmer, das Badezimmer und das Wohnzimmer (als Durchgang zum zweiten Schlafzimmer) abgehen, auch mit einer Treppe zum oberen Stockwerk führt. Durch diesen Flur geht also der Vermieter und auch seine Katze durch. Die Schuhe des Vermieters stehen dann auch im Flur. Da der Vermieter Raucher war und seine Katze einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch verströmte, roch der Flur ganz furchtbar nach Rauch und Katze. Auch in der Waschküche (hinter dem Durchgangsbad) roch es danach. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, die man kostenlos benutzen darf. Leider roch die Wäsche nach dem Trockner ganz ekelhaft nach Katze, sodass wir alle Wäsche erneut durchwachsen und aufhängen mussten. Wir haben Katzenallergiker in der Familie, die alle sehr reagierten. Dass im Wohnzimmer gekocht wird und es nur im Bad und der dahinter liegenden Waschküche Wasser gibt, ist in der Beschreibung angegeben, nervt aber tatsächlich sehr. Die Wohnsituation mit geteiltem Flur führt leider auch dazu, dass man die Wohnung nicht abschließen kann. Es fühlt sich nicht gut an, wenn nachts ständig jemand in die Zimmer gehen könnte. Man muss sagen, dass in den Bildern angegeben ist, dass es einen gemeinsamen Flur gibt. Aber die Katze (Vorsicht Allergiker) und der Nikotingeruch sind nicht angegeben und haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr gestört. Und die Terrasse war aufgrund der durch die Katze verdreckten Polster leider nicht zu benutzen. Die Betten im hinteren Schlafzimmer sind sehr durch gelegen.

La localisation est magnifique. On se sent apaisé dans cet endroit. Le logement était très propre et bien rangé.

Ce n'était pas précisé dans l'annonce que le cinquième lit était le canapé !!! Mon mari a donc dormi sur le canapé ce qui n'était pas très confortable... Le coin cuisine n'est pas très optimal car le lavabo était côté salle de bain. Donc nous étions obligés de faire des allers-retours entre la salle de bain et le salon (où se trouvait le coin cuisine).

- Il n'y a qu'une plaque de cuisson, l'évier est à la buanderie, donc c'est plutôt du camping pour cela. - Entrée commune avec les propriétaires, buanderie également. WC douche hors de la pièce principale. - Si vous cuisinez, c'est pas du tout agréable, car vite le smog.

Decent, clean, safe place. Washer and dryer Value for money Well appointed rooms and bathroom ... the place looks fresh and new

We didn't realize this house is someone's home and they live there while they rent out the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, which were separated from each other. We were constantly passing through common areas to go from 1 room to another or to the bathroom, which all in all felt not private enough (not saying the owners were in our way) Also, we reached this place after a really long day of travel..... and we were handed off 4 sets of comforter covers, pillow covers, bed sheets to basically wrap the bedding articles by ourselves. In every Airbnb style of rental we have done, the bedding has always been ready... doing it ourselves felt very much like a chore and took a little something out of vacationing. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable. Both me and my wife woke up with some backache. If you can get past these things, overall the place was nice.

It was the most wonderful place. First of all, the owners are lovely, caring, friendly and will help you with any questions you have. Secondly, the location. As mentioned before, it is quite the view to wake up to, to see in the afternoon, and in the evening! It might not be the closest to Ålesund (has a bus to the city, just down the road), but it is 100% worth it to stay in this flat! 10/10- we had a wonderful experience there and would come back there any time

Pleasant, cosy, stylishly decorated, immaculately clean, cleverly conceived large room with a beautiful view. Kitchen en bathroom equally pleasant. Our favourite accommodation during our trip in Norway. Far beyond expectations, for a very reasonable fare. It made other accommodations (often more expensive) pale in comparison. Easy communication with the owners. The type of room you wish yourself in every visited place.
