Besides the delicious and lovely breakfasts, the beautiful views and the great location, it was especially Sanny and his father Giuseppe who made our stay so special. From the very first moment, they gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel truly at home. We could always turn to them with any questions, and they gave us so many wonderful local recommendations. What we loved most is that they recommend places they genuinely love themselves, rather than the typical tourist traps. Thanks to their tips, we were able to experience the island in a much more authentic way. Sanny and Giuseppe are incredibly kind, warm and welcoming, and they truly made our experience on the island unforgettable. Très bel emplacement, arrêt des bus juste devant l'entrée de l'hôtel. Vue magnifique. Sanny, le propriétaire, est adorable. Avec son papa, ils sont aux petits soins pour nous. Petit déjeuner copieux, de bonnes bruschettas et des gâteaux maison. Petite plage au pied de l'hôtel. La ville de sant'angelo à 10min à pied. Merci encore à Sanny et son papa pour leur accueil. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

Sono stati 5 giorni fantastici. Sant’ Angelo è una cartolina e l’ Hotel Residence Sant’ Angelo ha contribuito a farci innamorare ancora di più di quest’ isola. Sanny fin da quando abbiamo varcato la porta dell’ albergo ci ha fatto sentire a casa. La sua gentilezza e l’ educazione trasmessa dai suoi genitori si nota dal primo istante. Vogliamo sottolineare 3 cose in particolare: colazione fantastica, terrazzo con piscina rilassante e posizione perfetta per la vicinanza al borgo di Sant’ Angelo. Alla prossima estate!

Siamo stati benissimo all’Hotel Residance Sant’Angelo!! Ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa, accolti con una gentilezza e un’attenzione speciali. Sanny e suo padre sono degli host fantastici, sempre disponibili e pronti a farci sentire a nostro agio. Consigliamo assolutamente questo soggiorno a chi vuole vivere l’isola sentendosi coccolato e accolto come in una famiglia. A presto!

Questo piccolo hotel a conduzione familiare gode di una posizione e di una vista incredibili sul paesino di Sant'Angelo, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. La vacanza è stata fantastica anche grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità di Sally e del padre Giuseppe, sempre pronti a dare ottimi consigli e addirittura prenotare le migliori esperienze per conto nostro. Seguite tutti i suoi consigli su spiagge, terme, ristoranti, gite in barca... non ve ne pentirete!

Fantastiskt mysigt boende med otroligt mycket kärlek och omtanke. Frukosten som Sanny, hans pappa och Sandro ordnade varje morgon var en riktig höjdpunkt. Tomaterna och basilikan från den egna trädgården var fantastiskt goda – man märker verkligen kvaliteten på råvarorna och kärleken som läggs i det som tillagas. De färska croissanterna var magiska, särskilt de doppade i lemon. Att dessutom få välja mellan espresso, cappuccino, macchiato och flera koppar påtår från en riktig espressomaskin kändes otroligt lyxigt. Sanny var tillgänglig på WhatsApp under hela vistelsen och hjälpte oss med allt från praktiska frågor till att boka riktigt bra restauranger och bästa möjliga bord, ofta med kort varsel. Det gjorde vistelsen otroligt smidig, särskilt eftersom engelskan inte alltid fungerade så bra överallt. Vi har rest världen runt och bott på många fina ställen, men här kände vi oss verkligen omhändertagna som en del av familjen. Sanny och hans familj är otroligt lyhörda, omtänksamma och genuint måna om sina gäster. Hela boendet genomsyras av den känslan. Läget är dessutom perfekt – i Sant’Angelo, som enligt oss är den absolut finaste delen av Ischia. Stranden precis nedanför och närheten till byn gjorde läget helt fantastiskt. Vi njöt otroligt mycket av vår vistelse och kommer definitivt tillbaka så snart vi kan! ❤️ Jag är ofta ganska kräsen som recensent, men den här recensionen skriver jag med stor glädje och omtanke för detta fina boende.

Sanny and his family were the best hosts we’ve ever had while traveling abroad! Sanny was always quick to reach on WhatsApp or by stopping by at the front desk, and booked us on tours and restaurants/gave recommendations constantly! We also loved the breakfast - delicious and beautiful spread that we enjoyed with a gorgeous view of the sea. My children loved the outdoor pool! And we loved how close the bus stop was - literally right outside the door. And a close walk to Sant Angelo made it a great location. And everything was SPARKLING clean!

Abbiamo passato 3 notti perfette. Sanny ci ha fatto sentire come a casa grazie alla sua disponibilità e gentilezza. Ci ha aiutato ad organizzare tutti gli aspetti della nostra permanenza, dalle attività ai posti dove mangiare. Tutto è andato ben oltre le nostre aspettative. La struttura è in una location fantastica, a pochi passi da una bellissima spiaggia e dal centro di Sant'Angelo. Inoltre la fermata del bus, che ci ha permesso di spostarci comodamente per l'isola, è proprio di fronte. La colazione con le buonissime torte fatte in casa dal padre di Sanny (da provare assolutamente), insieme alle piscine con acqua termale e al terrazzo con vista disponibile nell'hotel, sono la ciliegina su una permanenza che non può che prendere pieni voti.

La consiglio vivamente. La struttura è ben tenuta e vicinissima ad una delle calette più belle dell isola, lo staff è gentile, accogliente e disponibile su come e dove andare. Il panorama è spettacolare.

Ho soggiornato con le mie amiche ed è stata un'esperienza davvero piacevole. Albergo con vista stupenda su Sant'Angelo, caletta a due passi, colazione ottima, camera silenziosa e soprattutto staff gentilissimo e pronto a consigliarti come trascorrere al meglio il tuo tempo a Ischia. Molto consigliato!

Albergo situato in una zona tranquilla dell'Isola, ma comunque ben servita. Atmosfera famigliare, ideale per chi viaggia con i figli e vuole sentirsi come a casa propria. Colazione buffet ricca e fatta con prodotti locali.

Staff were incredibly kind- really going above and beyond to make us comfortable! Let Sanny know what youre up to, he'll connect you to discounts and friends :) We loved that it had its own bus stop, made it possible to easily grab the bus when it came by, including to getting to and from the ferry port!

La struttura vanta di una vista spettacolare con terrazzo e piscina usufruibile tutto il giorno. L’accoglienza di Sanny fa veramente la differenza. Al nostro arrivo ci ha fornito la camera più grande rispetto a quella che avevamo prenotato (bilocale al posto della tripla) e ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare gli zaini e di utilizzare la piscina anche dopo il check out. Inoltre c’è la fermata dell autobus che ferma proprio davanti. Sicuramente torneremo la prossima volta che saremo ad Ischia!

Sanny was an amazing host, probably the most interested & caring host I've ever encountered. He was marvellous for offering tips on where to eat and making reservations. Breakfast was amazing. Sanny's father was a gentleman (and a great barista). Baked goods with quality, home-grown/homemade condiments - it was a treat waking up to it every morning. Sanny appeared to work all day, every day. He's clearly very proud of the business, as he should be. Beautiful location, fantastic views, bus stop on its doorstep & walking distance to town.

Honestly, the bedroom was a little bit dated and probably needs better quality mattresses. It was quite sterile - all white walls; I think it needs a little lift. On balance though, the hospitality outweighs these negatives and I'd highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is nicely located, 10 minutes walk from Sant Angelo village, away from the noise but still easily accessible. There are buses going every few minutes which stop just outside and a free public parking about 150 meters away. There is a nice beach, accessible via stairs directly below the hotel and I would definitely recommend swimming there instead of the Sant Angelo beach. Sanny, the owner, was the definition of hospitality. He helped us with tips and recommendations and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. No fancy view from the room itself but the roof terrace of the hotel compensated for that. Not to forget the delicious breakfast with a variety of local dishes, both sweet and savoury. Overall, definitely recommended!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Situated in a great location near the beach but also with beautiful pools and areas to hang out. The staff are wonderful, the host Sanny made sure to make us feel super comfortable. He and his father were so helpful, giving us recommendations and making reservations for us. Premetto che non sono amico o parente dei proprietari, devo dire obiettivamente di essermi trovato come ospite da amici, coccolato e aiutato in ogni cosa che potesse servirmi. Consigli utili su cosa visitare, dove andare a mangiare, ecc. ecc. La posizione è incantevole con vista sul borgo di Sant'Angelo, la zona più esclusiva di Ischia, la colazione fantastica con tanti dolci prodotti dalle mani d'oro di Giuseppe, oltre a bruschette con pomodorini super, torte salate, pizza, cornetti, ecc. La terrazza con la piscina (acqua calda) da sola vale il viaggio, per potersi rilassare con quella vista favolosa. Anche la piscina interna con idromassaggio è una coccola stupenda. Non posso che consigliarlo, anche i miei amici sono rimasti entusiasti di tutto. Un grazie quindi a Giuseppe e suo figlio Sanny, ci siamo fatti tante chiacchierate piacevoli e non vedo l'ora di poterci tornare! Ripeto, non sono parente o amico, è una recensione per la quale sono sicuro chi sceglierà di andarci mi ringrazierà!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and could not be happier with our experience. Aside from the fact that Sant’Angelo is an incredibly beautiful place and that the view from our hotel room was absolutely breathtaking, what truly made this place so special was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way - whether it was helping with things at the hotel, giving recommendations for restaurants, boat tours, beaches, or places to visit around Ischia, arranging taxis in Naples, helping with transport from the ferry to the hotel, or explaining the local buses. They were always there to help with anything we needed. What impressed us even more was that their kindness didn’t stop when we checked out. Even after leaving, they still helped me with recommendations and tips for my parents, who will be visiting the island soon. That level of genuine care and generosity is rare. On top of being incredibly helpful, they are such warm, kind, and fun people. We spent so much time just talking with Sanny and Sandro, laughing and having such a great time - they really made us feel at home. Giuseppe was also incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, with very good air conditioning, a lovely cozy (big) balcony, and excellent housekeeping throughout our stay. The rooftop pool was a unique and relaxing experience with thermal water (and yes, it’s warm!). And just a short staircase down from the hotel is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sant’Angelo - Spiaggia di cava grado. Breakfast was also great, with both sweet and savory options, yogurt, and truly delicious cappuccinos (however many you wanted/needed!). We already miss this place, but most of all, we miss the people. We are already looking forward to coming back next year and staying again with Sanny and the whole team. În primul rând, primirea a fost excelentă. Camera curată, mic dejun delicios, cu preparate tradiționale, proaspete. Proprietarul foarte amabil și mereu ne-a dat cele mai bune recomandări privind plajele, restaurante cu mâncare gustoasă și la un preț rezonabil, ne-a dat informații despre ce se poate vizita și despre liniile de transport din Ischia. La plecare, ne-a dat numărul de telefon al unui prieten taximetrist din Napoli, pentru a ne facilita transportul din port la aeroport.

Deși în cameră era o kitchinetă, nu era dotată cu un minim de veselă și tacâmuri.

Kaunis ympäristö ja sopivan pieni hotelli. Huone oli riittävän iso kahdelle aikuiselle, nuorelle ja koululaiselle. Ilmastointi oli tehokas, mikä helpotti pohjoismaista matkaajaa. Sijainti oli meille juuri hyvä. Hotellilta oli vain lyhyt kävelymatka bussien päätepysäkille ja Sant'Angelon kylään. Kylästä löytyi hyvin ravintoloita. Saimme myös hotellilta loistavia suosituksia ravintoloihin. Kannattaa huomioida hotellissa hyväntuulisena palvelevan Sannyn ehdotukset syömiseen, niin saa erinomaista ruokaa kohtuullisella hinnalla. Jos olisimme viipyneet saarella pidempään, olisimme luultavasti hyödyntäneet hänen osaamistaan enemmänkin. Myös muulla hotellin henkilökunnalla oli ihana hyvä palveluasenne.

The entire experience was exceptional. Sanny and his dad goes out of their ways to care for their guests, and their property is incredible! The rooms are clean and simple, and have everything you need (TV, shower, fridge, AC), the pool is great on a hot day, and we got all the help we needed with every aspect of our stay (renting a scooter, recommending the best restaurant in town). Oh, and don't pass on the breakfast, if you want something delicious and homemade!

Ici ce n' est pas une chambre d'hôtes ni un hôtel ,vous avez l'impression d'être invité par une pure famille Italienne. J'ai nommé, le toujours très disponible Sanny et son papa Giuseppe. L'hôtel est très bien situé, juste en face d'un arrêt de bus qui permet de visiter toute l'île. Scooter loué et livré à l'hôtel pour 30€ par jour. Et ménage fait tous les jours dans la chambre

C'est juste dommage que le toit terrasse soit fermé le soir

Se sei in auto 50 mt a destra parcheggio libero 50 mt a dedtra parcheggio custodito 12€ al giorno. Convenzionati con Ristoranti e Tour in barca.....TOP

The hotel looks over the bay and is a 5 minute walk into the village . You are surrounded by stunning views and then you meet Sonny who welcomes you to the hotel with as much charm and warmth as the views outside . From start to finish his aim is for his guests to feel at home in his home. He and his team did everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible - they do this so well! Rooms are comfortable and most have that beautiful view. Breakfast had beautiful homemade cakes croissants and bruschetta. Anything we wanted to do during our stay he organised and every recommendation for dinner was a good one.

Teimme täydellisen valinnan yöpymisen suhteen. Hotellin suurin plussa oli sen upea tunnelma. Harvoin kohtaa näin lämmintä vastaanottoa ja melkein perhekeskeistä suhtautumista vieraisiin. Kaikki pyyntömme ja toiveemme täytettiin nopeasti ja ystävällisesti. Kylpyläosasto (termit), aurinkoterassi sekä aamiaiset mielettömän kauniilla näköalalla tekivät vierailustamme Ischialla ikimuistoisen. Suosittelemme lämpimästi!

Struttura bellissima affacciata su un panorama unico, camere pulite, colazione buonissima, a pochi passi dal centro di Sant'Angelo. La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Sanny e del signor Giuseppe hanno reso il brevissimo soggiorno ancora più magico. Torneremo sicuramente.

Everything about the property is amazing. The location, the hospitality and the breakfast are all exceptional. Sanny along with Pepe and Sandro are great hosts.

Raramente si trova un equilibrio così perfetto tra qualità, comfort e ospitalità. Un soggiorno indimenticabile che consiglio senza alcuna riserva. Tornerò sicuramente e lo considero uno dei migliori hotel in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Complimenti a tutto lo staff

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Residence Sant’Angelo in Ischia. The hospitality was exceptional from the very beginning. Sanny was checking on us even before our arrival, providing clear information on how to reach the hotel and following up throughout our journey from the port. He was always available, helped us organize our days on the island, and made us feel truly welcomed. His friendliness and attention to detail made a big difference during our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few steps away from a beautiful hidden-gem beach and within walking distance of the charming village of Sant’Angelo. The area is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for exploring. Sanny also recommended several restaurants and arranged discounts for us, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options every morning. We highly recommend Hotel Residence Sant’Angelo to anyone visiting Ischia. The combination of excellent service, a beautiful location, and a warm atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. The hotel is located near Sant’Angelo, one of the most picturesque areas of Ischia. After checking out, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and use the facilities to change our clothes before going to the beach. Sanny also kindly offered us access to the swimming pool even after check-out, which we really appreciated.

The hotel has a nice view, near the beach and the fishing village - a short walking distance. Moreover the bus station was 100 m from the hotel.

The staff was very helpful, and very friendly.

Séjour exceptionnel à Sant’Angelo ! Sanny, le gérant, a été d’une gentillesse incroyable du début à la fin. Il nous a immédiatement fait sentir comme en famille, toujours disponible, attentionné et aux petits soins pour nous. Il prenait régulièrement de nos nouvelles avec beaucoup de bienveillance, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec de délicieux produits locaux et faits maison. Mention spéciale également pour le rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel, surtout pour un emplacement aussi idéal à Sant’Angelo. Et pour couronner le tout, l’une des plus belles plages de l’île se trouve juste en dessous de l’hôtel ! Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Beautiful and very cosy place with caring owner, who would go an extra mile to satisfy tye needs of the guests. We also enjoyed the thermal water pools at the premises of the hotel .

Siamo stati davvero BENISSIMO! Lo consigliamo vivamente. Il personale super accogliente, in particolare il signor Sanny è stato fantastico, con la sua costante premura che stessimo bene. La location TOP! Con affaccio sull'isolotto di S.Angelo, due piscine termali, una interna ed una esterna, e a due passi dal centro di S.Angelo. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornarci :D

rooms decent, but basic - didn't matter for a one night stay though

The owner and other staff are very friendly, they happily give advice where to go and see. They are sometimes too nice. The rooftop pool is great, the room was good, bed cozy, everyday they provided new body soaps. Bonus points because this was one of few accomodations where they had eggs for breakfast.

When we arrived they told us we are getting free room upgrade but it was an obvious downgrade - we didnt care much about a room change but this lie was not needed. Breakfast could use some improvement (less sweets and more continental choice). The hotel is a bit dilapidated here and there but it seems that they are slowly making improvements

Chambre très spacieuse avec une grande terrasse. Vue exceptionnelle et accès à la plage de Cava Grado très facile par quelques marches juste au coin de l'hôtel. Roof top avec piscine à eau chaude (source thermale). Nous avons également beaucoup aimé l'accueil de Sanny (propriétaire de l'hôtel) qui nous a bien conseillé et même réservé une très belle table dans un restaurant de Sant angello.
