La ferme IKALIMO est toujours un plaisir pour notre famille: un lieu de détente très vaste avec de nombreuses terrasses et des jardins. Idéal pour se relaxer. Le personnel est très attentif et agréable. Nous avions commandé un couscous pour notre dîner qui était très savoureux. C'est la troisième fois que nous y séjournons et c'est toujours parfait!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Ferme by Ikalimo. Le lieu est magnifique, calme et très bien entretenu, avec une ambiance chaleureuse et reposante. Le personnel était accueillant, disponible et toujours souriant. La chambre était confortable, propre et décorée avec goût. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la qualité du petit-déjeuner et le cadre général, parfait pour se détendre et profiter du séjour

Miałem okazję zatrzymać sie podczas podróży z dzieckiem i to był dobry wybór. Hotel posiada sporo atrakcji dla dzieci. Jest bardzo ciekawy :)

Uwaga GPS google może prowadzić zła drogą do Hotelu. Trzeba zostawić auto przy głównej drodze i wejść przez kładkę:) Ale to nie problem.

Soufiane and his team of highly professional people are the best in the industry! I can’t believe Soufiane remembered us from the last stay and welcomed us as if we are coming back home! We’ve never felt home and taken care of as we do in Ikalimo. Soufiane has a great attention to details as the manager of this marvelous resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even went to the farmacy to get medicines for us because our son became ill and cleaned the room extra. They spontaneously asked our youngest child if he would like to ride the horse and help with the animals. Good location.

Tolle Zimmer, tolle Verpflegung, tolles Personal! Die Anlage ist ebenfalls toll, zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber vieles wurde aufgehübscht als wir im April dort waren... ist wahrscheinlich Saison-Start gewesen. Für unsere Kinder ein Abenteuer. Viele Tiere was unsere Kinder toll fanden. Das Personal geht gut mit den Tieren um worauf wir sehr geachtet haben. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren einige Schulklassen tagsüber zu Besuch in der Anlage, dadurch war es zwischendurch im Restaurant etwas lauter aber unsere Kinder fanden es super :)

Zimmer war sehr schön, sehr gemütliche Bettwäsche, alles sauber, Personal sehr freundlich, Berber-Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend

Staff couldn’t do enough to ensure we were comfortable and show the animals to our child. Food was tasty and good choice.

Lots of stairs - 360 from the bottom to our room and please be aware you are on a working farm with smell of birds and animals.

We had a great 2 night stay in the stunning farm. The family room had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, which was very convenient. Kids had fun playing with the goats, taking a horseback ride and doing pottery. The restaurant had very tasty food, fresh breads made in house and breakfast was a beautiful spread. Honorable mention to the laundry staff that found a lot of cash in our dirty laundry and has reported and returned everything.

L’infrastructure est également le lieu d’attraction (quelques peu vieillissante).. mais organisation au top. Petite ferme avec chèvre, poney et chevaux sur lequel on pouvait monter (gratuitement).

Unser Aufenthalt in der Ferme by Ikalimo war schlichtweg perfekt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die herzliche, fast familiäre Gastfreundschaft, die unseren Familienurlaub so besonders gemacht hat. ​Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight – insbesondere das Frühstück war eines der besten, das wir je hatten: frisch, regional und unglaublich lecker. Wer in Ourika eine authentische Oase mit exzellenter Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Unique location, right on the hillside above the river. Its a 15 minute drive to the more touristy area so not super convenient for accessing waterfall walks etc. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was really good!

The place felt quite isolated, the rooms were well presented but the rest of the area (they had animals and pool and many different areas to explore) were a bit in disrepair. If you're doing a tour from the hotel, the taxi cost is a bit of a rip off, make sure you barter for a better rate (we paid 300 dirham for the taxi alone, and this was just a 20 minute drive each way. To compare, we paid 350 dirham for the hour journey from Marrakesh).

Accueil chaleureux et les activités proposées sont super. Repas et petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Mention spéciale pour le tajine de chèvre façon berbère qui était divin.

I am a tour guide, I booked this place for the second time for my 18 Latvian group. I myself and everyone enjoyed the place, everyone talked about how the beautiful view from the accommodation, how clean are The rooms, well decorated, smells good, clean and has positive energy. The staff are truly working from their heart, very gentle, professional and just the best. Soufian and all the boys working the Ferme made Ikalimo good team, We had the best Salad, Tagin and Dessert for dinner, very authentic and rich breakfast, Highly recommended

We loved being in the mountains. Peaceful and quieter. Accommodations are a good way from the road although there are many steps (staff are amazing and carry all your stuff!) Felt like a mix of international and local tourists. A few animals, different terraced gardens and play areas (bring a ball!) for kids to stay busy. They can organise activities but we didn’t do this. Host was super kind and helpful. French or what’s app in other languages. Food was fabulous. Limited traditional menu but delicious fresh and hot with great service. Rooms has air con so kept warm at night. In winter perhaps there could be another heated social area eg to play games at night? The seating area was too cold in February. Helped us organise transfers to Setti Fadma, airport etc and all efficient and stuck to agreed price. Felt safe with kids. Thank you for having us.

Not much. I’m not sure what we’d have done if we stayed longer? Perhaps 2 nights is enough with day trips out? Perhaps there are local hikes that could be organised? A warmer social area (outside the dining room) would perhaps be a good idea in winter for evenings?

The property has a lot of activities for kids, ours loved playing with little puppies, the rooms are quite big and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

The property itself is a little warn out, there are quite many stairs to climb (the staff helped with suitcases) and the area is quite remote from anything.

We had a lovely two days at Ferme by Ikalimo. The personnel, the rooms, and the overall atmosphere were excellent. It is a truly beautiful place with spotlessly clean, well-designed rooms. The staff were absolutely amazing kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay feel very special. I highly recommend this place. If you want to feel truly special, just visit Ferme by Ikalimo.

This is an extraordinary place, perched on the mountainside above the river. The approach is up a bunch of stairs (don’t worry they carry your bags for you like magic), and then you enter a farm built into the land in a series of terraces. It’s rustic and very unusual. A great experience and very unlike any other place I have ever stayed. Soufiane and the other staff are incredibly kind.

We came in winter and it is chilly! The rooms are warm, but dining room not really heated and generally everything is quite rustic, so you just need to come prepared with the right gear. Bring layers and proper warm clothes and then you can enjoy!

We recently stayed at Ferme by Ikalimo in the stunning Ourika Valley, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The setting, the hospitality, and the atmosphere made my stay peaceful and memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and genuine care. The staff made us feel completely at home, and the place itself is full of charm — surrounded by mountains, gardens, and the soothing sound of the river. Our room was cozy, beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was fresh and delicious, full of authentic Moroccan flavors. We slept very good !!!

One small suggestion I’d like to make, from the heart: I recommend keeping the area near the water clean from any plastic bottles or waste. This place is so beautiful and natural that it deserves to stay perfectly preserved — and I believe a little extra care there would make it even more magical. 🌱

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very clean a perfect retreat in the Ourika Valley. The room was spacious and decorated with authentic Moroccan style. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, served with great care. A special thanks to Mr. Sofian in the lobby, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming. His hospitality and attention made our stay truly memorable.

We just had a great 1 night stay at ferme by ikalimo with our family of 4 (including a 2 and a 5 year old). The staff were great, very helpful, location was lovely in the valley near the river and the on-site animals and playground provided the kids much enjoyment. The food was very good also - we had a lovely tagine. There are a lot of stairs being on a valley side but the staff will carry your bags to help. The family room was lovely and very comfortable, would definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful stay in the mountains to see Ourika valley for us, I can't recommend highly enough! We were a group of 2 couples and drove from Marrakech. Abdul and his team were amazing - they were attentive, kind and friendly and made everything easy for us during our stay. He is a brilliant host and rightly proud of Ourika. The food was great and the whole stay was great value for money. The photos don't do the property justice - we chose to stay at the mountain riad and were very happy with this.

There was nothing - we only would have liked to stay longer!

The location was beautiful and the large room was lovely!

I felt the animals weren’t looked after very well. The goats, donkey, cow and 2 little ponies seemed to be locked in the stables. Horse rides were offered but the ponies were miniatures and not for riding. There were far too many birds in the small pens. A shame as there is potential. Maybe employing someone that loves animals would help as the donkey was pulled around without much kindness. There was a large group staying at the hotel making g loads of noise and banging on each other’s doors and being extremely loud until 1.20am when we had a 7 am start in the morning. Obviously this doesn’t reflect on the service or hotel but ruined our stay.

This is the perfect place to stay if you have children. It is a little paradise, with on-demand activities for all, including pottery making, horse riding, cooking classes and many more, as well as wonderful play areas and of course all the animals. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff are so incredibly warm and friendly. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Take your kids, parents, friends or family and just go there, what a magical stay we had. I cannot find the words to describe the manager, waiters and all the workers there, a big smile is not leaving their faces and running up and down to meet your needs. Let’s talk about the stairs please if you come with elderly people or disabled and with special needs just give a call to ***Abdu*** he will arrange the upper door either with a local taxi or with your own car so you won’t use the stairs. There is a road straight that will bring you to the property. The breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t finish because it’s all organic from their own garden and made with a mom’s hand. Dinner was an art omg the meat tajine was incredibly tasty and soft, the Adar salad I couldn’t find it anywhere else in Morocco it’s their special salad. There is a restaurant for people coming to have lunch and dinner or just drinks down its far from the guests room which very convenient, all the guests kids can enjoy a swimming pool with la dj next to it and a very friendly kids club. Let’s not forget the animals they have in the farm birds, horses, donkeys, turkeys, ducks, cows, sheep, goats. Well just go and enjoy your time you will never regret it, big taxis from near Jamaa Lefna will take you and drop you right in front of the property it’s a matter of 30 min I think or less. *** ABDU *** you are one kind unique person thank you on behalf of my family.

All the guests in comments were just complaining that there are a lot of stairs and it’s difficult, come on it’s like you are going one floor up and when you reach it there you won’t need to go down again at all because they have all the variety of Moroccan and Berber cuisine all the drinks, just, tea. Keep yourself healthy consider it as morning walk and enjoy your stay

I love Ferme by Ikalimo. It’s just so quiet and peaceful. It’s a beautiful hotel which is covered in lush gardens on a mountain side. The food is really fantastic and there are lots of different activities to try- some free, others paid for, so you won’t get bored here. However what really makes the Ferme so great are the fantastic staff led by Abdou. Nothing is too much trouble and they give fantastic service. On this stay I actually wasn’t very well as I’d got a cold so the staff checked on me to make sure that I was ok and whether I needed anything. Service that goes above and beyond.

As I’ve mentioned before the hotel is on a mountainside so there’s a lot of stairs. However I still manage it although I am disabled because Abdou always helps me with luggage and everything- however this hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users. The one thing I wish the hotel would invest in is a swimming pool. They have a children’s pool at the bottom of the mountain but I’d love to see an adult pool near to the rooms- it’s the one thing I miss when I stay there.

Beautiful property set on a mountain side in the Atlas Mountains. However what really makes this property stand out are the staff who always go the extra mile to ensure a great stay- in particular Abderrahim and Soufaine who are really friendly, helpful and professional. The food may be a little more expensive than at other places but it’s really high quality and I highly recommend the cheesecake!!!! A really good place to chill and get away from the stress of every day life!

The property has lots of steps as it’s on a mountainside. However as I’m disabled Abderrahim always ensures that I’m driven to a slightly easier entrance (although still lots of steps). The staff always carry the luggage and do everything possible to ensure the steps aren’t too much of a problem. That said it probably isn’t suitable for anyone using a wheelchair. Although it’s not a negative - from a personal point of view I wish there was a swimming pool and then it would be totally perfect!

The hotel is situated in a beautiful position on a hillside in the Ourika Valley. The rooms are good as is the food and there are plenty of activities at Ferme Ikalimo which of course include the farm but also pottery, bread making etc. However the thing that really makes this stay special are the staff. Abderrahim and his team go all out to make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are friendly and helpful, an exceptional group of staff, especially Abderrahim.

The only thing that has been mentioned by others is that there are a lot of steps in the property as it’s on a hillside. However the staff do everything they can to assist. I’m disabled but Abderrahim helped me with my luggage and ensured I had a room which involved the fewest steps possible. Once I’d arrived I didn’t not find the steps problematic - it just meant there were certain areas, like the farm itself, that I didn’t visit because I didn’t fancy doing all the steps - however this really dishrag affect my enjoyment of my stay. It’s a lovely spot- so quiet and peaceful.

Everything was perfect

Our room was lovely, the staff is fantastic, and the food on the premises was delicious and reasonable. We were there during a school function (children there for the farm) and got to enjoy a potter and all the farm animals. We loved our stay and the restaurant and sitting areas were comfortable and inviting. This is the kind of place you go to and stay for the day, not really go back out and explore the area. Only the area of the farm, river, and nearby souk.

If you are not able to climb steps, this is not the place for you. The steps are MANY....that is not an exaggeration. Once we left our room to go down to eat and explore we packed a backpack so that we didn't have to return until it was time to retire. (They did bring our dinner UP, which was nice). If you can walk up steps I recommend this, but just know for elderly this may be a stretch. Shower was broke, but we had two connecting rooms so we were okay.

The stairs :(. It’s not bad but it is not ideal with families with younger kids. I would say if you have kids under the age of 5, reconsider staying there. The accessibility makes it harder for younger kids. There is also no menu for kids. This is not necessarily a bad thing if your kids are not picky eaters.

It was the cutest place we have ever been, like a fairytale. With polite and helpful staff, stunning views and brilliant facilities! We loved the animals and enjoyed making pots and having a private Hammam. Arriving we crossed a little bridge into the restaurant, we were treated so well and the food was delicious homemade. We are vegetarian food that was fresh! Aubergine salad and lentils were amazing! The manager Abdul was kind and accommodating! We will be coming back!

There were so many places to relax on the property. The farm animals were a fun treat. The rooms were immaculate. Our favourite was the team of staff, led by Abdou, who was so helpful, attentive and hilarious.

The staff were lovely and really attentive, making sure we had what we needed at any moment. The whole place is very bright and colourful and felt very cosy.

The bathroom had a bit of a damp/humid smell even if we left doors open to air out, we also had a few issues with the hot water at times (but minor).

Everything about the stay was excellent! Abderrahim was great and made everything easy for me and my family. Tarek and Mustafa were also very helpful. I had the best stay in Ikalimo and I recommand. Best place and best service in the region!
