Mi è piaciuto tantissimo che la struttura è in mezzo alle risaie e al centro dell'isola quindi con un mezzo come il motorino,si può raggiungere qualsiasi altro punto dell'isola che sia la spiaggia le montagne o qualche ristorante. Mun e Afeq sono delle persone fantastiche. Ho instaurato una bella comunicazione con loro che andava oltre la soglia del proprietario e cliente perché sono molto gentili,simpatici e pronti ad aiutarti o a conoscerti. Poi il barbecue è fantastico!!! Consiglio a tutti di alloggiare qui soprattutto se ci si sente in sintonia con la natura e con le belle persone e siete pronti a rillasarvi. Le recensioni negative precedenti non sono veritiere, infatti io ho seguito l'istinto e ho scelto la struttura perché c'era la foto del gatto hahaha. E non sono rimasta assolutamente delusa. Grazie ancora per il bellissimo soggiorno!!

Le logement est agréable, qui a tous le nécessaire. Il est surtout entouré de rizières et de montagnes, et on l’ont peu admiré le couché de soleil. Vous pourriez egalement apercevoir des vaches :)

Beautiful property in the middle of the island and easy to get around. If you need to work whilst there they also have excellent WiFi and scooters available for rent which is payable by MYR only. The nice coffees in the morning were also a plus! The shower also has good water pressure and has heat which is a plus in south east Asia

Het verblijf leek op de foto's mooier dan in realiteit. De foto met een lekkere omelet als ontbijt was ook misleidend, want er was alleen warme drank, brood, potten confituur en wat granen.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a truly lovely experience. The room was great, especially the generous amount of storage space, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed the beautiful terrace with a wonderful view. The location is very idyllic and quiet, perfect for relaxing. A big plus was also the excellent cappuccino available for free in the morning. The host, Mun, is exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. He is truly unique and has a special way of making guests feel at home. We would definitely come back and would like to thank Mun for the wonderful stay!

Best choice we made during our trip. Such a serene and beautiful location, exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff, they are always there for you. The ambience is just perfect for a relaxed stay. Rooms are clean and quite spacious, breakfast is well taken care of. You can conveniently rent a scooter at the accommodation to tour the island.

Love everything about my stay, Afeq was super helpful, the place is worth 10/10 of your money. The environment was great too.

the place was a homestay type, Which makes the whole experience incredible. U can just feel so free to ask anything to mr “Afiq” the one who is hosting the property. The place was in the middle of the Paddy fields Which will take u away from the busy vibes of the city , was super chilled place , surrounded by greens. The location was great , it’s located in the middle of langkawi therefore u will need a car or scooter to explore the island. The room was spouse and so clean. 🤍 - The bed was super comfortable - bathroom was clean The breakfast was great. There are some restaurants around too (10m walk). Afiq was more than a host , really friendly person , respectful and really informative. He just makes us feel home for real. Feel free to ask him about anything. He is more than welcome to guide you. My stay at Kawah Padi was peaceful and serene. It's a beautiful location that's walking distance to Gunung Raya: if you don't want that level of walk then there are plenty nearby that you can do. The village is right on hand with a great cafe and supermarkets to keep you stocked up. The staff at Kawah Padi were experienced travellers with plenty of good tips about Langkawi and beyond. The whole atmosphere is really welcoming and chilled. The breakfast is lovely: pancakes, toast, cereal and plenty of coffee. I'd definitely recommend Kawah Padi.

Difficult to find and a long way from most facilities.

El personal, muy atento y dispuesto siempre ayudar. Mun, el propietario nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos ayudó con el alquiler de una scooter para los 3 días y se mostró siempre abierto a cualquier requerimiento. La villa está a 9 minutos del aeropuerto en Grab. La cama comoda, desayuno con buen café y variado. Es un sitio en medio de la Isla en una zona rural de arrozales y no tiene ruido, excelente ubicación si buscas un lugar tranquilo donde descansar.

Tout était parfait. La guest house est situé dans un havre de paix, bien à l'écart de l'agitation. La vue est magnifique. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Le petit déj varie tous les jours. Les volontaires et le gérant étaient aux petits soin. La petite villa était très propre. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un super moment. N'hésitez pas !

De kamer en badkamer waren groter en comfortabeler dan ik had verwacht! Het is heerlijk om tussen de rijstvelden te vertoeven en makkelijk te drukte te kunnen opzoeken. Het personeel en de vrijwilligers waren geweldig! Er heerst een hele fijne sfeer.

De prijs voor als je de scooter wil huren was aan de dure kant. Vooral voor de scooter die je kunt krijgen. Ik heb ergens anders een scooter gehuurd voor veel minder geld.

I spent one week at Kawah Padi Garden Villa and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning — surrounded by rice fields, peaceful, and full of natural beauty, yet still close to all the main attractions of Langkawi. The atmosphere is what truly makes this place special. There’s such a positive, relaxed vibe — thanks to the friendly volunteers and the welcoming spirit that fills the villa. You really feel part of a small community, not just a guest. And I have to mention Afeq — incredibly kind, funny, and always ready to help with anything. His good humor and caring attitude made the whole experience even more memorable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The shared areas are cozy, and breakfast was always a lovely way to start the day. If you’re looking for a place with great energy, warm people, and a beautiful setting — this is it. Ich hatte das große Glück, 4 Nächte in der Garden Villa auf Langkawi zu verbringen und es war einfach perfekt. Von der ersten Minute an wurde ich unglaublich herzlich und familiär aufgenommen. Die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit für einen da. Mein Flug war zu spät und der Besitzer Mun meldete sich über WhatsApp bei mir, ob alles in Ordnung ist und teilte mir mit, dass das Zimmer fertig ist und ein Mitarbeiter wartet, ich mir also keinen Stress machen muss. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Flexibilität und Hilfsbereitschaft des Teams. Wann immer ich nicht genau wusste, was ich unternehmen soll, standen sie mit tollen Tipps und Empfehlungen bereit. Dadurch habe ich nicht nur die Unterkunft, sondern auch die Insel viel intensiver erleben können und das auch trotz der aktuellen Regenzeit. Was ich auch super finde ist, dass die Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück lokales essen mitbringen, um den Gästen noch mehr Malaysia zu zeigen und zu erklären. Ich habe mich hier nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wie ein Teil der Familie gefühlt. Diese Mischung aus professionellem Service und echter Herzlichkeit ist selten und macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Während meines Aufenthalts waren zwei Damen vor Ort, die auf Volunteering-Basis dort für je eine Woche ausgeholfen haben, auch diese waren unfassbar lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre und der Standort ist nicht zu übertreffen, es ist schon überwältigend, mitten in der Natur aufzuwachen. Wenn ihr ein wirkliches lokales Gefühl von Langkawi bekommen wollt, dann kommt hierhin! Sollte ich die Insel wieder besuchen, werde ich auch wieder hier schlafen. Danke für die tollen vier Nächte!

Man muss sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass es ein Homestay und kein Hotel ist! Dadurch wird in meinen Augen die Atmosphäre aber nur noch verstärkt!

地理位置: 在瓜镇周边，在比较偏的田野里，Grap打车可以到不用担心，自驾会更方便。 晚上安静不吵闹，大自然休息质量满分。 环境卫生： 房间和公共区域都非常干净整洁，地板也很整洁，自助饮水机很方便 房间设施： 空调、Wi-Fi全部好用又高速！卫生间干湿分离很大很干净，热水供应稳定，需要注意，这边都是不提供一次性牙刷的，需要自带牙刷，房间有窗户，可以看到外面的风景。 民宿服务： 管家很好，房间提供转换插头很贴心，帮忙问了红树林报团，还提供了本地人爱去的宝藏小店和风景地图，有问题回复超快，需要什么都能及时解决！ 总结： 性价比超高，下次来一定再住这里！强烈推荐！还有几只小猫咪太可爱了♥

没有不满意的，地理位置更适合自驾，打车也是方便的。

Líbilo se nám v podstatě všechno. Je to ale typ ubytování, který nemusí vyhovovat všem. Přece jen - je to uprostřed rýžových polí, kde vlastně "nic" není. Ale to je právě ono. Chatky jsou skvělé a pohodlné. Je tu opravdový klid. Doprava se dá zajistit. My jsme si například domluvili půjčení auta a vše proběhlo úplně v pohodě a za výborných podmínek (auto bylo přistaveno u vjezdu, odevzdávali jsme ho na letišti, cena kolem 400 Kč na den). Snídaně byla na první pohled skromná, ale úplně dostačující. Se vším nám poradili. A pan domácí s námi dokonce mluvil i trochu česky (přece jen byl v Česku snad 10x).

Někomu nemusí vyhovovat umístění (trochu mimo civilizaci na úzké uličce v rýžových polích) a relativní skromnost zařízení. Ale pro jiného je právě toto bonus! Pro cestování po ostrově je nutno mít zajištěnu dopravu (půjčení auta, motorky nebo najmutí řidiče s autem - ale nic z toho není problém). Takže do této rubriky by se nemuselo psát nic.

Mun and the staff were great, always asking after our welfare and ensuring we had a great stay. Room was clean, shower hot, nice room size for the 2 of us - and the WiFi was strong throughout our 3 night stay. Lovely peaceful location and we slept very well. The outdoor communal area is a great place to hang out and breakfast was varied and plentiful. Bring a book and a smile and you’ll have a lovely time. Thanks for a great stay!

Kawah Padi Villa is really a magical place, in the middle of the rice fields and surrounded by beautiful nature! The people working there are amazing, so kind and caring. We had an amazing 3 nights there - the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the terrace area super cosy and the team made a great breakfast in the morning for us to enjoy. Highly recommend for a cosy and relaxing stay

Really enjoyed the breakfast here! It was simple but super tasty. Loved the little homey touches, felt like eating at a friend’s place. Everything was fresh and just nice to start the day. The rooms didn't have any conviences; no glasses, no mini fridge, no hot water maker. I know the owner says that his place is not a hotel, however those are things that should be essential to renting a room.

Very basic rooms. The window in the bathroom was broken, and I had to fix the sliding door to the bathroom as it wasn’t working correctly. Location is central but it doesn’t really provide any benefits, as you still have more or less the same distance to everywhere on the island as if you have a location at the beach. In the evening we had to walk 25 minutes until we found a restaurant that was open. Friendly staff, I think it is a great place for backpackers and many seem to stay multiple weeks. But for a couple in their 30+ you just feel out of place.

Had the pleasure of staying at Kawah Padi for 5 nights and we loved every minute of it. The room was just what we needed, super comfy bed and spacious. Afeq made us feel at home, we rented a scooter from him and he also helped us book onward travel. Would highly recommend!

I came here again (my third time already), it's kind a hidden gem in Langkawi. I love the nature & local environment of this place / area. Surround with beautiful sunset and sunrise, it's such a peaceful & calm environment also surrounds with friendly & good vibe people. When I was there, I'm so lucky to meet the owner of this place, Mr Mun whom just awesome, very helpful and full of good advice, so with his manager Mr Afeq with whole crew and staff. To me, this place felt like home. Definitely wil come back here again with my friends.

I had a friend stay here before and recommended to me this place , what should i said the staff service and hospitality are beyond my imagination, Mr AfeQ the Manager in-charge and the whole staff put lots effort to make sure the guest are happy to stay here. I felt like home here, if you looking calm ,privacy, friendly local homestay with 10-star services you should choose and book your stay here.The room are clean and tidy, Even in their auto -message mentioned their not hotel but their really provided a good service more than just a hotel. I was lucky during my stay their organise a BBQ which are buffet for just RM35.00. Its hard to leave this place but i will come again, to enjoy the peace , the sunrise , the sunset and the vibe of Kawah Padi Garden Villa Langkawi.I felt home here. p/s : check their quality coffee

The location is excellent for what it meant to be - far from everything but close enough to drive moto to places. The communal space is lovely, great atmosphere and views Afeq was very helpful and accommodating.

Not a negative but worth bearing in mind, this is more of a hostel/homestay hybrid. A lot of young volunteers contribute to the feel. We had issue with the toilet running water as well but I believe that was taken care of after we left

The location and staff

Beautiful homestay, so happy we booked here. The setting in nature with ducks, chickens, birds, cats is really relaxing and you can spend hot afternoons relaxing in their communal area. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, think toast jam and fruits with some local pastries sometimes available. We don't drive bikes so booked grabs everywhere and this was easy. The manager is super friendly and so is the owner. Volunteers run the housekeeping and upkeep of the grounds. Comfy bed with 2 pillows per person, warm shower, good AC, shampoo and conditioner, fast WiFi for working. Excited to see how much the homestay transforms and hopefully we'll be back 1 day. Be aware it's a homestay with a relaxed vibe. If you're after a hotel or fully serviced guesthouse this wouldn't be the place to come. But that's why we loved it! 1 recommendation for the owner would be bigger towels for showering and then the bathroom would be perfect

Mun and Afeq were very kind and helpful, as well as generous. They helped us in every way they could, even with our onward travel when it was time for us to leave. We hired a motorbike from them which was a great way to get around the island. Kawah Villa is a wonderful and relaxed place and we will certainly be back!

When i arrive to this marvellous place- I told to myself what a "OWowowow", Seriously its worth my stay, honestly it didn't disappoint me at all. I wish i can stay longer, the location to be very good if you want to visit the important points of the island because you are in the middle of everything. The staff is very superbly kind and friendly. Mun the owner , Afeq and the rest of the staff- doing a great job from the moment your wake up till you head back to your bed, their always there to make sure everything goes well..There is good atmosphere and I spent good time with the staff drinking, chatting and playing cards . I heard about this lovely place from friends whom stay for near 2 weeks. From the moment my friend and I arrived at Kawah Padi Garden Villa, we were welcomed like old friends rather than guests. We lucky to meet the owner Mr Mun (quite friendly and chatters person), Manager Afeq and his team of volunteers proved to be a group of friendly people, genuine, and kindhearted people who played a major part in making our stay unforgettable. This homestay is ideally centre located in the heart of Langkawi, making it easy to explore the entire island with the scooters. We enjoy the morning view of sunrise, with later we surrounded at the breakfast bar by the lovely cats, chicken and ducks.They had a few choices daily breakfast with few local pastries, really such delicious breakfast. At the end, we stay more days from what we suppose to stay.

In need of a change of scenery after a few tough years back home, we found ourselves in Langkawi—spoiled for choice, yet lucky enough to stumble upon this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived at Kawah Padi Garden Villa, we were welcomed like old friends rather than guests. Manager Afeq and his team of volunteers—Mabel, Aleem, and Enzo—proved to be a group of sweet, genuine, and kindhearted people who played a major part in making our stay unforgettable. This homestay is ideally located in the heart of Langkawi, making it easy to explore the entire island with the scooter they arranged for us. We initially booked for five nights but ended up staying for four more—proof of how much we enjoyed our time here. And we’ll certainly be returning to see how Mun and his team continue to shape this special place over time.

If you're looking for luxury, this might not be the place for you. But if you're looking for something far more valuable—warmth, authenticity, and a true sense of belonging—you’ll find it here. Despite its simplicity, we had everything we could have asked for. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the breakfast was delicious, and the drinks—especially Afeq’s Coffee Sours—were a delightful surprise. Our stay at Kawah Padi was a perfect reminder of how little it takes to find joy and experience moments of true happiness.
