The apartment is very pleasant, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is relatively well equipped,

We were missing some basic utensils upon arrival – for example, a cutting knife, which we had to purchase ourselves. Considering that the apartment is intended for four people, we would also expect a bit more cookware. There were only two smaller pots available (750 ml and 2 l) and a pan on which it is difficult to prepare a meal for four. We had the most difficulties with the water. Despite the instructions regarding the optimal hours of use and pressure levels, the flow was often unstable – several times we were left without water, or it only came out as a thin stream. In addition, the temperature was very unpredictable; at times extremely hot water would suddenly come out, which required extra caution. Towards the end of our stay, we experienced similar issues with the air conditioning. It started turning off every 20–30 minutes, and then it took up to an hour to turn back on, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The terrace, which is supposed to belong to the apartment, was unfortunately not always private. The owner came onto the terrace several times, and they also brought their visitors there – even while we were using it – which took away our sense of privacy. The most unpleasant part, however, was when the owners unjustly accused us of touching the modem and causing the WiFi to stop working. Why we should do this if WiFi was working??? After it was restored three days later, the owner came again because she did not have signal herself. Since the internet worked perfectly fine for us, such accusations were quite uncomfortable. The surroundings are lively and noisy, mostly because of the animals and local activity, but we accepted this as part of the authentic environment. Unfortunately, the attitude of the owners left us with mixed feelings and somewhat overshadowed an otherwise nice holiday. When we checked we did not receive even a simple “thank you” or “safe travels.”

L'accueil et l'amabilité des hôtes. Ils ont su nous conseiller et être disponible sans être envahissant. La terrasse est un gros plus également, nous avons apprécié prendre nos apéros au couleur du soleil couchant. Le logement était très propre et la literie très confortable.

Spacious and comfortable apartment. It can be easily found and close to the le Morne. The view from the window is beautiful to a hill. The kitchen is equiped. The hosts are very kind, we even got some local dinner prepared by them. :) Very recommended!

I liked the Cleanliness and the good organisation of the property. I liked the fact that the property was not on the main Road so there were less traffic noise caused by bus ect. Safe place with the very kind tenants living on the ground floor. Electric fence around the garden. Everything was well explained about the overall good running of the property. Good Restaurants and shopping centre in the area.

The location is ideal for all tourists destination at a fraction of the price. If you looking for a local experience try this beautiful apartment.

During our stay the location of the apartment is absolutely beautiful – we loved how close it was to the beaches and enjoyed the serene mountain walks in the surrounding area. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start.

One thing we think is important to note is that we stayed during the summer months and the apartment itself isn’t fully set up for this. There was only ceiling fans and no air conditioning, and the fans did not provide much airflow but only made the space hotter, to the extent that it was much hotter at night inside than out (ie 30 degrees outside but 35+ inside). Opening the windows didn’t help, even with the risk of mosquitoes (which there were many, and made it even more difficult to sleep.) Finally, we struggled with the water temperature in the apartment – it was either extremely hot or very cold, and it was impossible to find a comfortable middle ground, but a cold shower in hot weather is not necessarily a bad thing. While the location and hospitality were fantastic, addressing the heat, mosquito nets on the windows, and water temperature issues would make the stay much more comfortable for future guests.

Location was easy to find. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Margorie.

We did not stay at the property because it had no wi-fi, no a/c, no tv and was very humid. We returned the keys without staying and asked for a refund which our host refused. She sent me abusive messages and threatened to report me to the immigration authorities. She and her husband spoke no English. An unbelievably horrible experience and Booking.Com havs offered me compensation as an apology.

Very cosy spatious apartment ,clean and very well equipped and well maintained .Also easily located apartment where restaurants are few metre away . The owners, a charming couple were very friendly ,reliable And have assisted us for extra needs we needed. Definitely worth another stay next time☺️
