El señor Juan fue muy amable y pendiente todo el tiempo, desde antes de mi viaje estuvo pendiente para darme indicaciones de movilidad por la ciudad y de la recepción del sitio. Y lo más importante es que en el sitio me encontré con personas muy lindas y queridas con las que pude compartir durante mi estadía.

Beautiful place. One night stay passing through but the room was lovely, clean, big. Great shower after a long journey and communication with owner. Close to South Terminal for bus and has bars, restaurants close. Thanks Gavin

Nice neighbourhood, clean, nice you can use the washer and dryer, internet is fast (120mbps), it did drop out for a couple of seconds a few times, but good enough for zoom meetings. Friendly host, comfortable beds.

We booked this hotel for its proximity to the bus station, but we actually quite liked the neighborhood and it's homely atmosphere. Nice park nearby where people hang out with their kids and pets. Plenty of shops and restaurants at walking distance.

There was another guest that was a bit 'off', which made certain moments a bit uncomfortable but that wasn't the accommodation's fault.

Juan is nice, friendly, always-love-to-help host just like local Colombian. You don't have to worry about anything and pls feel free to ask whatever it is. As for the house, the style is my cup of tea. Clean, simple, comfy so much. Walk 10-15 mins to the metro, cmpared to the noisy Poblado center, I prefer to live here, such as the quiet community, friendly neighbors, eat & shop is convenient as well. Enjoy my stay and would come back if any chance in Medellin.

This is more an AirBnb type than an actual hostel. Self check-in, I had a private room with shared bathroom, use of towels, nice pillows on the bed. The price was reasonable, there are a lot of inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood. Good location for using the South bus terminal but almost 20 minutes walk from the closest metro, El Poble. The owner is just great, the very best thing about the place, he's really nice and very flexible and accomodating about almost everything. Being able to use the washing machine at no extra cost is a great plus, too.

The kitchen was just a disaster, old moldy food in the fridge, dirty dishes in the sink despite the rules being posted and almost no (usuable) kitchen equipment. Some of the guests were longer-stay and from what I perceived in the 2 nights I stayed, that may have contributed to the kitchen situation, w/o going into details, but I saw several cockroaches on the kitchen counter more than once. Also there were 2 really big cockroaches in my room, which was right in front and had probably originally been the garage because there was an open space to the outside between the floor and the folding door/windows which had been locked off, so there was no way I could keep them out. That might not be the case in the other rooms, though. Finally, the bathroom definitely could have been cleaner, and overall the only real problem with this place is that there is no staff monitoring what is going on or doing regular cleaning during the day, only when someone checks in or out, I guess. I had originally thought I'd stay longer or return but those factors made me change my mind about that.

Great staff. The welcome late at night was great. Room is perfect. Private and big and clean. Very happy with it and the price. Location was great. Excellent gym just around the corner.

Really like the location, near some little parks, felt safe. Liked that you have your privacy as the accomodation isn't manned at all times, so it feels like a shared house, like your home. Juan is very kind, one of the things that attracted me to book here in the first place (from other reviews). It was really nice to find somewhere with a continually warm shower (downstairs) and the rooms and living areas are spacious. We had cupboards in our room and the beds are spacious singles. There's a washing machine to use and a dryer and pretty much everything you need in the kitchen..smoothie maker, microwave, big fridge. The beds are amazing. Not too hard, not too soft. Goldilocks beds. You get towels too.

Could do with a few more pots in the kitchen. It was OK for us as not many people were staying at the time we were there but if the place was full there wouldn't really be enough for more than one set of people to cook at a time. I did feel that it could be more thoroughly cleaned.

Check for a private room, includes laundry, and close to the South terminal.

It was hard to check in as the owner doesn’t live there so the neighbours had to call him, so just some advice if booking the place last minute. Also the place is kid friendly so there was a couple that came in with a kid that ran around and screamed.

The location is perfect if you need a place near the southern bus station or the Olaya Herrera Airport. The area is safe and not too far from the Parque Lleras nightlife area.

Juan was very helpful when communicating online. The location was fine, handy for the Metro Poblado and Southern Bus terminal.

Fridge needed clearing out. A couple of pots would be useful. Shower ran cold.

I love everything, the cleanliness, the security, Esteban's hospitality, the neighborhood, the room was very comfortable, and the laudry and drier were extremely helpful.....I basically felt at home. I couldn't be more grateful to Esteban for making my stay in Medellin, remarkable.

Great and accommodating host. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Great location - 20min walk from metro. Neighbourhood is safe and very family friendly. Wifi was about 60mbps.

The room could use a fan. The walls are thin, so if other guests are loud late at night or early morning it can wake you up. Also some guests there didn’t wash their dishes, so it made the kitchen dirty.

The owner is very helpful and nice! Helped us with a lot of things. The place is located in a upper residential district and it is therefore very safe. There are food shops very close and the apartments has a full kitchen so you can cook your own food. The apartment has a washer and dryer you can use free of charge whenever you want! The place has just been refurbished so everything is pretty new and beds are comfortable with good matresses. The bed linen is clean and nice. The place is very good value for money especially if you are looking for a place to stay for a longer time!

There is no patio or outside space, no common/living room area. When we were there it was very hot, so the fan or air conditioner would have been nice. As we stayed in second (top) floor. Apartment is not very clean (but that might depend on who are other people living in woth you in other rooms). For the hot water - there is hot water! It is heated by electrical heater and it sometimes turns off (i guess the wiring is not that good). You just have to turn it on in the electrical box of house and when entering the shower first do a little water and then full stream:)

The hostel was very comfortable and well located but above all, it's the kindness of Juan Esteban, the owner, who made my stay special. He is very helpful and available and gives great advice to help his guests. The accommodation is very good especially for its price. I totally recommend.

prívate room and bathroom for amazing price, beds were comfortable and the space was clean (saw a few dead cockroaches but well..), would recommend!

water was cold, asked for toilet paper no one showed up (had to buy it ourselves), kitchen was well equipped except the fact you can’t really cook anything on the stove. stayed in the room downstairs by the kitchen which was really loud (could hear everyone walking in and out)
