The hotel's parking lot had a great view of Mount Mayon. It's also Near the Cagsawa Ruins. Going to the usual tourist spots, you may or may not see Mount Mayon as clouds usually cover it. Staying at this hotel, you can wait for the cloud cover to dissipate and then get a great view of Mount Mayon. The hotel has only 8 rooms and I occupied one of them which was spacious, and clean. The air conditioner yes, was a bit noisy but the room also had an electric fan which you can opt to use if the air conditioning got too cold. The pool area was clean and the pool was well maintained. The mess hall was also spacious and the breakfast was sooo good. The friendly resident cook will ask you what you wanted to eat and she'd cook for you. Of course, I had Filipino breakfast and dinner.

Well, to no fault of their own, on the first night, a blackout happened three times.

The location was perfect. It’s a quiet neighborhood with views of Mayon and Legazpi bay. The complimentary breakfast delicious… beef tapa is always a win. The manager was there and she switch out our pillows for us because we wanted smaller ones.

The room and pool were clean. The people working there were nice and helpful if you asked for assistance with anything. Overall had a good experience here only stayed one night. I think it’s a good place to relax in.

The Internet in our room didn’t work. It worked in the pool and lobby area, but room we were in which was at the end of the hall didn’t work. The place seems to be little secluded which some people enjoy and other don’t. We enjoyed the quiet area.

Я прилетела посмотреть на активность вулкана Майон. Отель очень удобно расположен - прямо с территории виден вулкан целиком. Рядом также находятся руины Кагсава и озеро Самлаг, откуда открываются хорошие виды на вулкан. Лучше иметь машину или скутер. Номера классные, очень плотные и вкусные завтраки, есть бассейн и беседки на улице.

Я прилетала после тайфуна, и в отеле не работал интернет, так как были неполадки на линии

We kregen heel veel informatie. Interessante tips, to do tips. De eigenaar was super sympathiek. Wanneer we iets nodig hadden, dan hoefden we het maar te vragen. Ontbijt was op maat, zelfs vroeg in de ochtend zodat we op tijd konden vertrekken naar een activiteit.

Property is clean, secluded, and offers an exceptional view of Mayon Volcano! The Staff are very friendly and helpful in providing for all your needs. A top shelf experience!

The staffs were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I especially liked the pool, it was clean and perfect for family relaxation. The breakfast was good! Over all, it was a great family stay.

The wifi signal was weak and it was hard to connect. We were trying to stream the BU Graduation while waiting to get there for our family who's graduating that day , but it was very challenging to get a decent wifi.

Everything 😍.... family run atmosphere . Warm and inviting . Brian..the owner and is family makes you feel like family . They are very accommodating to all your needs . Very friendly . They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and cared for in any situation . The facility is very clean .. wonderful pool . Wonderful breakfast every morning . Very quiet . Beautiful area . Very close to Mayan Volcano 🌋...I highly recommend this property . One of the best . I travel the Philippines . This has been our best resort experience . We will never forget our time spent there . Very special . We will be back .

Not one thing... it's a special place .

The hosts here were very welcoming and accommodating. They have a shuttle van which we were able to utilize, where they drove us to places in town for an additional fee. Which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast was incredible. So much food and all so delicious. They even brought it to our room one morning upon request. I could tell our hosts were going above and beyond to to ensure we had a good stay. They were very gracious hosts.

As mentioned by other former guests, there is currently construction. However, while it was loud at times. It was hardly noticeable for the noise of the Philippines. They didn’t start until 6am and were usually done by 5pm. In addition we were not there during the day anyway because we were out doing activities in town. So we were away from any noise. The pool did have an odor in the water when the fountain was turned on. Not terrible, but noticeable.

Clean facilities, staff were very helpful and respectful, great views, pool water was warm and we were able to swim even if it was late. Very clean and spacious rooms, wifi was good. Please provide x2 towels per person as towels are used when getting out of the pool and gets so wet already. When showering in the adjoining toilet, another dry set of towels are needed and not the wet one that we used from the pool.

The bed my son who is 5'11", was using went down as with bed planks on plastic casings only, which did not hold his weight. I was asleep and woke up and thought there were gunshots. Coz that was the sound that emanated from said incident. My son slept on the floor with the mattress. We forgot to inform the facility manager as we were very satisfied with all the other amenities. I already forgot about it until now. They should provide metal bed slats or very sturdy wooden beds if they are focused on getting different sizes (literally speaking) of clients. Very little amount of catsup for 4 people was served, as they did not have any left as per the staff who served us breakfast. Nil signage or directions at area as it was situated at top of the mountains. They should put directions or signage at areas starting from the main road due to its location on top of the mountains. We stopped a few times and asked a number people so we could find their place.

Wifi in original room Not working.Shifted me to another Room.Wifi average also.Power regular Drop outs.No room with pool view.Rooms garden veiw was a tankstand and Tank.No Views.Section I Stayed in was below 2nd stor construction.There were other rooms avaiable as we were only Guest staying there for the whole period.If wanting Something at bar had to go find some one.Same with Resteraunt.About the only Thing that was adversised and avaible as listed was the Pool.I will try to add some Photos if i can.

The hotel was a construction site (building a new floor on top of the existing rooms) and should not have been open for business. The owner clearly does not care for their guests.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Good air conditioning when there was electricity. Bathroom was new and very clean. Maricel was very nice and did her best for us.

Construction work ongoing on second storey. No restaurant or bar facilities open - breakfast was offered on demand with restricted choice. Arrived at 7.30 pm and there was no food available so we ate chocolate and snacks from our own supply. No water offered. Frequent power cuts left you in the room in darkness - no flashlight or candles provided. Check if construction taking place before booking to avoid disappointment. We had our own car - otherwise you will be stuck in the remote location.

Aircon was not cold enough or not working properly Host its been drinking and you can feel it in his breath. There is a construction going on, construction workers sleeping just outside the lobby Internet was very slow Location not convenient if not using car

Beautiful property, staff friendly especially the morning cooking staff. Swimming pool is great and children friendly. Very nice facilities for the renters for friendly times after supper. Air conditioning is a great unit for the size of the room for.

There was no way to plug in our iPhones. Plug-ins were 3 prongs. A large screen TV with no way to plug it in. It would be helpful to have a small apartment refrigerator to keep our stuff cold.

Water heater was not working and hand soap was not available in one of the rooms we booked. We are looking to refresh after a long day but was disappointed hearing that water heater was not working. Description in booking.com was misleading. Couple room’s description has 2 queen bed but it was not.

Friendly and welcoming and flexibility

Maison de Gloria is one of the best accommodations in the Bicol Region. The location is perfect, the facilities are very good and the staff and owners were all very helpful and accommodating. Plus, the place is pet friendly!

Maison de Gloria is the best accommodation in my years of travel. We were driving from airport in taxi and had no hotel booked. This listing looked nice so we decided to try. A truly last minute booking. It did not start as the best because it felt off the beaten path. Back away from all the action and down a neighborhood road in the Philippines which is what the Philippines is all about!! This however was completely changed by time, awareness and staff. The accommodation is new, very clean, very comfortable and just awesome. The staff runs the place like a 5 star hotel except they provide 10 STAR service. I mean they truly met every need we had plus others we didn’t know we needed. I could not possibly give enough credit and appreciation to all the people here. An amazing experience. If I could rate higher than a 10, I would. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice pool. Can see lava flow of Mayon volcano at night. Gourmet Philippine food with 5 star presentation. Simply amazing. I highly highly recommend this place. You will have zero regrets and leave like you are part of the family. The full staff shared the true beauty of the Philippine culture and hospitality I am humbled and amazed.
