Trockenraum könnte besser durchlüftet sein, damit die Sachen wirklich trocken werden leider konnte das Zimmer erst nach 15 Uhr bezogen werden - wir sind aufgrund des Wetters etwas früher angekommen

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Die Betten waren sehr schmal aber dennoch bequem, einchecken war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Man trifft auf nette Menschen. Das Frühstück mit Liebe gemacht.
Die Kinder hatten etwas Angst vor dem Plumpsklo. Leider sind wir nicht in den Genuss der Pizza gekommen. Auch die Köchin braucht mal eine Pause.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Logement idéalement situé le long de notre road trip à travers le Jotunheim National Parc et en direction d'Oslo. Le petit-déjeuner superbe, et le repas servi le soir était très bon. Nous avons apprécié la volonté affiché de travailler avec ces produits locaux. Et un plus, les calins aux moutons en allant se doucher ;-)

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Die Lage im Fjell inmitten von Schafen war interessant , gutes Frühstück, leider nach 19 Uhr kein Service mehr ( war wir erst vor Ort erfuhren)
Die Beschreibung "WC" war euphemistisch, handelt es sich doch um ein altes Plumpsklo, der Geruch nach Ammoniak grenzte an eine Zumutung, man müsste aufpassen, nicht ohnmächtig werden. Dir Duschen waren ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen, d.h die Sanitäranlagen lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026The staff was very friendly and approachable, absolutely no complaints there. The room was basically clean and tidy, and the buffet breakfast was abundant, varied, and very nicely presented.
The shared toilet is actually a pit latrine (we are flexible, but we definitely didn't expect that), and there are only 2 toilets total for the rooms. There is only one shared shower for all the rooms (which wasn't exactly the cleanest), making it a bit of a bottleneck. The mattresses were uncomfortable.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr idyllisch und sauber. Der Aufenthaltsraum und die Dusche war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr nett.
Die Betten haben geknatscht. Die Außentoilette war zu weit weg und ein einfaches, stinkendes Plumpsklo. Eine Zumutung.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Znakomite położenie. Mimo pobliskiej drogi cicho i malowniczo. Blisko samochodem do sklepu spożywczego. Jest tam też mała stacja benzynowa. Świetne miejsce wypadowe na wędrówki. Dobre i obfite śniadania.
Toaleta ekstremalna - nie dla każdego. Za mało wspólnych sanitariatów dla całego obiektu: dwa prysznice i dwie umywalki (w tym jedna wyłączona z użytkowania). Ciasne pokoje, które są zlokalizowane w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie restauracji/sanitariatów. Wejście do dwóch pokojów bezpośrednio przez restaurację.

Les douches sont bien bien eau chaude sans problème. Merci à vous et à la dame qui s occupe de l hébergement

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Kjempekoselig frokost med hjemmebakt brød. Alt man trengte, gode smaker på røkelaks, ost og syltetøy. Da vi kom på ettermiddagen spiste vi steinovnsbakt pizza med reinsdyr, lokal cider, og hjemmelaget is. Veldig godt! Det var et veldig hyggelig tun, koselig område, en liten bekk ved siden av, og fin sti opp til fjellet, som var et utrulig vakkert område. Personalet var kjempehyggelige, selv om de hadde mye å gjøre, vi fikk kjempegod service og gode tips.
Selv om personalet var veldig hyggelige og stedet hadde autensitet og sjarm var det noen ting vi tenkte på Huset vi bodde i hadde en litt innestengt, gammel lukt, både i gangen, på rommet og på badet. Madrassene var ganske gamle (vi la madrassen fra overkøya oppå for å sove bedre), gardinen på ett av vinduene lot seg ikke trekke ned, og på badet rant dusjvannet utover hele gulvet. Med noen enkle oppgraderinger ville opplevelsen blitt enda bedre. Jeg vil uansett anbefale dette stedet på grunn av av beliggenhet, sjarm og god service!

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Je moet vroeg aan het ontbijt komen want daarna word minimaal nog maar bijgevuld. Vriendelijke gastvrouw, behulpzame meiden op de dag van aankomst. Mooie rustige omgeving.
Het toilet is een wc bril op een gat in de grond waarin je de uitwerpselen van je voorgangers kunt zien liggen, de geur daarvan is om te kokhalzen. Een typische huttenkamer met 4 stapelbedden, het voldoet om te slapen, maar 1 nacht is voldoende. Sanitair om te douchen mag wel een upgrade hebben.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The room was very nice, we got an amazing breakfast in the morning. In general the place is very quiet and beautiful, in the middle of the nature. The structure is traditional and very well kept. We didn’t try it but they also offer pizza and drinks and the atmosphere was super nice and comfy! The owner was extremely nice and welcoming.
You have to be aware that the toilet is the traditional type (but this is said in the description so if you go there it’s part of the experience)

I booked the place literally ten minutes before arriving, as I couldn’t find a suitable spot for camping — and it was so worth it. Absolutely lovely owner and staff — so friendly and warmly welcoming. The whole place feels like something out of a magical Norwegian storybook, surrounded by beautiful traditional decorations and cosy details. And the food — oh, the food! Homemade pizza, freshly made waffles, and their own apple juice put me straight into heaven. As a solo traveller, I had a whole room with four beds just for myself — warm, cosy, and super clean. The bathrooms were spotless too. The lady was so kind; she even let me leave my backpack at the property after check-out while I went shopping in the nearby villages. I highly recommend this place — even if you don’t stay overnight, you must try their pizza! 🍕

Hygienen til noen av de andre gjestene gjorde oppholdet vårt mindre trivelig, i løpet av natten ble det urinert i dusjen. Dette er lite trivelig da det er felles dusjrom for alle gjestene.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2025Et nydelig sted. Gode turmuligheter. Rolig, gullende rent ,fantastisk service, blid og hyggelig vertinne,velkomsthilsen på hodeputen. Kaffemaskin på rommet. Velsmakende hjemmelaget lokal mat i peisestua eller ute på tunet.. Må tilbake dit. Følte roen og pustet inn ren god fjelluft.
Interresant med utedo. Ikke ofte man opplever det lenger. Men det er en seter og den har alt man kan forvente og litt til.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und das Zimmer gemütlich. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und hochwertig. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Königsweg, das war für uns optimal.
Die Betten sind leider sehr klein (wir sind über 1,75 cm), es gibt keine Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und es gibt ein Plumpsklo, das hat den Komfort etwas reduziert. Daher ist aus unserer Sicht das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht optimal im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften der Region. Dennoch insgesamt ein sehr positiver Aufenthalt für unsere Zwecke (Wanderung).

Reviewed Jul 19, 2025We expected an "ok" overnight lodging with a bit run down facilities, but the stay exceeded expectations. This place is really nice, as far as a tourist trap as you can get. Sure, the buildings are a bit like a private or DNT cabin, with simple furnishings and wood panelling), and the toilets are an outhouse. But the rooms and common areas are cozy, and clean. There are showers and wash rooms. The best part though was the food. Pizza properly made, bread and foccachia from the ground up. The home made chocolate ice cream was to die for.
