Loskop Serene Bush Cabin

The home is so beautiful and clean. From its hybrid interior style of rustic farm house look to its modern kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The warm swimming pool and the chill area by the swimming pool is a great touch. We also enjoyed the board games provided, we had clean cutlery, linens, blankets and towels. We also could see the animals close up which was really great the kids enjoyed. The braai area was also great we could even make smores. Not forgetting Melusi our host who is really friendly and helpful he made us feel at home, this was a really great weekend, a home away from home.

I would be lying if I had any complaints.

The facility is a self-catering, they made sure that we have all the kitchen equipment you can ever think of to make our food preparations enjoyable. Dishes and crockery was more than enough. A day prior our arrival we've received options available for us to make our stay memorable. Different activities around the area with detailed information like prices, contact person, duration. Weve received a pin location with pictures showing us the landmarks to look out for, rules for the area. Oh, Johan our facilitator and game driver was exceptional.

There is nothing i disliked. The place is too perfect. From warm welcome by the care taker who waited for us outside the property until we arrived then ushered us in the house with a smile. He was always available to assist us with everything we needed.

The Cabin is luxurious and very well equipped. The owner is very friendly and informative. She showed me everything we needed to know. I will recommend this Cabin to anyone. We saw so many animals around the cabin it's pure bliss.

The only little problem we had was hot water. But this didn't affect us.

Fantastic location, the add is def a true reflection of the property.

​We absolutely loved our stay at Kranspoort Vakansiedorp! The unit itself is fantastic and perfectly situated to take in the beautiful views. ​The owners have truly thought of everything, especially when it comes to entertaining. We made great use of the outdoor spaces—the large deck and veranda were perfect for morning coffee, and the boma was the ideal spot for a traditional evening fire. ​Inside, the luxury touches were a huge plus: a fully stocked kitchen made meal prep easy, and having an ice maker and wine cooler felt like a real treat! The massive Smart TV with a soundbar was also great for relaxing evenings. ​Comfort and Convenience: ​Even during the summer heat, we were perfectly comfortable thanks to both the AC and a water cooler. ​The separate bathroom with a shower and toilet near the swimming pool was incredibly convenient—no more wet feet running through the house! ​There's also plenty of storage throughout the unit, which was a welcome bonus. ​Location & Activities: ​Being nestled in nature with wildlife bounding past was such a pleasure. We highly recommend booking a game drive with the local guide and making the walk up to the lookout point to see the spectacular Loskop Dam. ​We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and can't wait to return!

Important Note on Wildlife: ​There isn't much not to like! Just a friendly word of caution: since you're nestled in nature, be aware of items in reach of animals. The warthogs are especially drawn to the outside waste bins. We had a very determined, hungry visitor one early morning looking for leftovers, so it would be wise to try and secure or keep the bins out of their reach!

Such a beautiful place, split over two floors. The photos do not do this place justice - it is exceptional. Melusi was very helpful and such a pleasure to have around. Our host sent a lot of useful information that made our stay even better and we got to meet some great people. Our kids enjoyed feeding the animals right outside the villa.

Main shops are quite a way out but we didn't mind the drive and bought enough food for our entire stay

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Loskop Serene Bush Cabin.The place is lovely with beautiful scenery and very well maintained.The kids loved the interaction with the animals in the estate. It is very luxurious cabin with everything you will need. Malusi was very helpful and attended to all our needs.Thank you Mary-Anne for the lovely stay.

That South Africa should make an extra day as a weekend so we can enjoy such beautiful places, only thing we didn't like is that time went too fast and we were still enjoying the bookings place as it was amazing.

Safe environment, very beautiful cabin!…beautiful environment..stylish house with most of the things I need in close proximity

Unclean washing towels, unclean ice maker, rooms on the ground floor had gum papers in the drawer, kitchen cabinets had a funny unclean smell, cutlery was unclean..literally had to wipe everything clean before use whilst being watchful with water usage

I couldn’t fault this this property even if I tried. The house met all of our expectations and more. The host communicated with us from the day we made our booking until the day we arrived ensuring we had all the required information for our stay including activities available in the area. Malusi was also very helpful throughout the weekend.

The house was lovely and spacious. Malusi was very helpful and pleasant. Mary Anne was happy to answer all our questions and gave a lot of info regarding activities in the area.

The house and views are beautiful, the house is so comfortable and equip with everything you need, from an air fryer to a battery light. Everything was spotless and in tiptop shape. Maluli was a man who was cleaning the kitchen daily and assisted with any queries and requests. The host was very responsive and accommodating, we will for sure visit again.

The host was so wonderful and so was Melusi the caretaker. Everything we needed was catered for and Melusi checked up on us to see if we needed anything. We loved the animals, the balcony, the boma area, the kitchen was well equipped. Really a spectacular time.

If there's anything I didn't like, I honestly do not remember.

Everything was great about our stay and property was just what we needed. It is suitable for both adults and children. Everyone had great time, ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ we can like to vacation at the same place again. The assistant-host was helpful and friendly.

Its the most amazing house all to yourself with enough space so everyone is comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Will defintely go there again.

Serene bush cabin exceeded all my expectations. We needed a place for a family birthday getaway, we got that and so much more. The homely reception, the comfort, the view, the peace and quiet the list is endless. I will be booking again very soon. Thanks to Mary Ann and Melusi.

There's nothing not to like

We enjoyed being this close to nature, the peacefulness and animal sightings. The view was amazing and the house was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hostess was extremely helpful and furnished us with supporting information about activities and neighbouring recreational facilities.

A nice big property that can sleep multiple people on multiple stories, we were just 4 and my nephew and he was in his element. If you'd like to have some peace and quiet this is definitely the place you would like to look at. Mary-Anne and Malusi definitely made this a trip I could never forget and I will really enjoy the next stay I have at this cabin.
