It’s not that far from Cape Town but it still feels like a proper getaway. It’s child friendly, the house is gorgeous (even better than the pics). It was clean and the attention to detail is magnificent. True South African hospitality! It’s clear that Eldi cares about how you feel as a guest and goes out of her way to enhance the experience. Apart from the space being cosy and also exceptionally stylish, there was really everything you could think of and more. We particularly enjoyed the bath tub, hot tub, playing with the cutest dogs on the property and having a beautiful view of the farm and the animals throughout the day. A truly relaxing and beautiful experience.

A personal birthday message for our daughter added a special touch. Overall, it was a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable getaway, and we highly recommend this holiday home.

We loved the peaceful farm atmosphere, beautiful views, and the warm hospitality. Eldi welcomed us with freshly baked bread, farm butter, and locally sourced honey — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The venue was well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

We were welcomed by Eldi, who even prepared the hot tub for us. The freshly baked farm loaf, butter and local honey was one of the many special treats the accommodation offered. The house is beautifully decorated and everything you might need is there. The kids enjoyed cycling on the farm, playing on the lovely lawn and waking up to the sheep grazing in front of our unit. The farm is located close to town, its not too isolated so you feel safe but can still enjoy your privacy. We as a family cant wait to be back again!

I really cant say that there was anything.

Everything there is nothing not to like in that house, I enjoyed the views mostly especially in the morning with a cup of coffee and a good book.. I also loved when the animals came to visit, Eldi is a great host and she goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful and perfect for a family getaway. It’s located just outside of town, offering peace and quiet, yet still close enough for a quick trip to the shops. The farm setting adds a charming touch, with nearby livestock that you’ll occasionally see and hear. The host also left thoughtful welcome gifts, which made us feel right at home. Overall, a truly satisfying experience.

The property was beautiful and peaceful, lovely surroundings and not to far from shops. The house itself was beautiful and it met all our needs, the host definitely has attention to detail and that means a lot to a traveling guest from having a lovely baked bread on arrival to complimentary eggs, milk, coffee and tea was amazing as it tides you over until you unpacked and ready to hit the shops. We will definitely be back there for sure. it is really a great venue.

It was so quiet and peaceful. The views were amazing. Everything was great.

There was a very annoying cat the whole weekend. We couldnt leave the doors open at all as one of us is allergic to cats. We dont blame the owner as we know its not her cat

Eldi was one of the most welcoming hosts we met on our journey. We were welcomed with a fresh baked bread, rusks, honey and a wonderful flower bouquet. We even got fresh eggs from their own chicken from the farm delivered right to our door the next morning.

Place is amazing The tranquility love. The sounds of the animals all around love. Love that is just out of city but not too far if you need anything We got a tour of the chickens for our kids we were very grateful for this Highly recommended

What an incredible experience. Everything was thought of. The place was beautifully decorated and left you feeling relaxed and comfortable. I could easily do a month there. It is a slice of heaven and so close to Cape Town yet you feel far away.

The fact that I wasn't staying longer.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is an absolute gem of a home and the amenities are TOP class. Eldi has left no stone unturned when selecting the decor and utensils. The hot tub was an absolute delight and kept us entertained. We also love the fact its so close to Cape Town yet feels so secluded and private. The host was very gracious and kind and assisted with ideas in and around the home. It also felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

The only thing is that, it being on a farm, there are quite a few flies and if they is sorted, this place would be AMAZING.

This is the perfect breakaway from the city, not too far from Cape Town but you feel like you're miles away. We will definitely be staying here if we are in the area again. Loved the woodfired hot-tub and the modern aesthetic. Thanks to Eldi for being a great host.

Staying at Rustfontein Guest Farm is truly a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful and comfy, the view is amazing and your host is super helpful and friendly! I shall definitely stay there every time I am there!! (I might even look for a reason to visit)
