**Very disappointing experience despite the apartment looking fabulous** We booked this apartment through Booking.com and received a confirmed reservation. After driving for several hours, we parked the car around 30 minutes away and walked in the August heat with our suitcases to the property. Before arriving, I repeatedly asked for the access/lock code, but instead kept receiving requests for ID, which we had already uploaded. Once we eventually found the apartment, we waited outside for over an hour trying to get access. We finally received a response telling us there had been an error and that the apartment was no longer available. We were then offered an alternative apartment that was over an hour's drive away, which was obviously not a suitable solution after the journey we had already made. What was particularly disappointing was the way the situation was handled afterwards. We spent the next five days trying to get our money refunded, and found the communication from the company rude and sarcastic, with very little empathy for the situation we had been left in. Thankfully, Booking.com eventually intervened and arranged the refund. It was a great shame, as the apartment itself looked fabulous and had we actually been able to stay, this could have been a very different review. Instead, our entire stay was overshadowed by having to chase a refund and deal with an unnecessarily difficult customer service experience.

Decent enough

Bar downstairs is open most days until 2am and is a proper meeting place so noisy as. The club downstairs is open to late on the weekend, so expect thudding bass coming through the walls. If you can sleep with earplugs, its okay but I can't due to a medical issue so didnt sleep well at all.

Spacious and clean enough.

Tv was hanging off the wall. Shower gel not working in bathroom. Patio door didn’t close properly. The noise outside from the bar was truly deafening. No point in having a terrace so don’t pay the extra for one. You need to fight past people smoking and drinking on the door step just to get in.

Easy access with the code, Central location, clean, they gave us some biscuits made in Portugal, you have coffee and tea available. ideal for a night or couple of nights

Location is good but there is a bar in the next building and you can hear music at night. Because of that they give you earplugs, but they are not efficient

Absolutely nothing. This was the worst hospitality experience I have ever had.

The digital lock failed and I was locked out of my room for over 6 hours. Because there is no reception on-site, I was completely helpless and left stranded in the hallway. The customer service on WhatsApp was an absolute disgrace—they barely spoke English, ignored my messages, and kept lying that a technician would arrive in "10-15 minutes". My entire day in Porto was completely ruined. To make matters worse, they refused to provide a fair compensation for the night I lost and completely avoided taking responsibility. Terrible service and a total shame.

Je ne peux pas évaluer le personnel puisque il n’y a personne à l’accueil, et je n’ai vu personne non plus à l’entretien quoique propre. Le code d’accès a mis un certain temps à apparaître. J’ai communiqué par chat à deux reprises mais j’ai fini par l’obtenir

Very convenient location and comfortable room with kettle and coffee machine .

The TV didn’t have any channels. The room was quite noisy as above a very busy bar .

It was a really nice stay. We really enjoyed til location very close to everything! Fun thing in our appartment the sink was outside the bathroom/in the room. Didnt really matter but if it does for you. And it is without a reception but it worked perfekctly without it Really nice place

Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral gelegen und man kam überall zu Fuss hin. Es gibt auch ganz viele Brunch-Gelegenheiten in der Nähe.

Die Unterkunft lag gleich neben einer Bar, war deshalb etwas laut und hatte am Abend viele Leute vor dem Eingang. Allerdings haben wir von unserem Zimmer aus zum Glück nicht viel gehört und haben Ohrenstöpsel zur Verfügung bekommen.

Posizione molto comoda per visitare la città! Tanti locali vicini, ma nessun rumore in camera. Molto consigliato!

Todo correcto. Por suerte, nos tocó la parte de atrás sino hubiera sido imposible dormir. Con mi experiencia todo perfecto.

L’hôtel est très bien situé. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et confortable, avec une literie de bonne qualité. J’ai également apprécié le calme de la chambre. La climatisation fonctionne très bien

Le soir, les abords de l’hôtel sont assez animés en raison d’un café très fréquenté situé juste devant. Cela ne m’a toutefois pas dérangé, car ma chambre donnait sur l’arrière et était donc au calme. Il n’y a pas d’accueil physique : toutes les informations et les communications se font par message. De mon côté, tout s’est très bien passé et je n’ai rencontré aucun problème. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de frigo dans la chambre

Excellent location, clean and modern room, and no issue with the busy bar downstairs. I was worried about the place given the Google reviews, but the room was very well insulated at the windows and I really couldn't hear any noise from the bar down stairs (first floor). Very easy entry system with the keypad.

Amazing location and great amenities! Easy online check-in and check out process. Everything was clean and I really appreciated the free coffee & cookies.

Given that it is in the city centre you can hear the bars below and around the accommodation. It didn't bother me and I actually enjoyed being in the middle of the lively city but if you are a light sleeper you definitely need earplugs (which the accommodation provides).

Everything. It was so clean. In a very, very good location. (You can go to sao bento station by foot with one big suitcase and 3 bags, i did it!). So stylish. And very comfortable

The noise outside. On the first night there were no noises so i was like “cool i did not have a room like the people complaining in the comments”. And on the second night it was a little bit loud . But the last night???? Very hard to sleep.

Location was excellent - absolutely perfect for my needs. Comfortable, clean, air conditioning, easy to check in and access. What more could I need?! Lovely balcony for a morning coffee with gorgeous view of the sunset. There were ear buds provided as there is a bar directly opposite but I didn’t find it too noisy at all (on 3rd floor)

Bardzo głośno. Na dole bar, w który co wieczór dużo osób, impreza, pomimo że okna do pokoju dźwiękoszczelne i hotel zapewnia zatyczki do uszu to dla osób wrażliwych i mających kłopoty z zaśnięciem - katastrofa. To jedyny minus hotelu, poza tym wszystko super.

Très bien placé, grand lit et literie très confortable. Relativement calme côté cour.

Manque de cohérence sur les consignes "préserver l'environnement". Je suis sensible à ces questions. Ménage fait, serviettes changées (malgré une notice explicitant que seules les serviettes mises au sol seront changées). Pour ne pas avoir le ménage fait, il faut mettre la signalétique "Ne pas déranger". A quand l'inverse ? (signaler quand on veut le ménage fait). La clim était réglée sur 21 degrés avec une température extérieure de 23 degrés... J'imagine que c'est un "critère" positif pour plein de monde, et pourtant, c'est une anomalie. Et pendant ce temps le monde brûle...

Good location and close to loads of shops, bars/restaurants, old town and about 10-15min walk to the river. Room was spacious with nice high ceilings. Entry to the property was easy. Staff helped me to extend my stay.

Was a decent room but a bit worn in places. Was clean but not spotless. Location was good but is right next door to a nice/popular cafe /bar, so was noisy in the evenings- suggest using the ear plugs provided!

The room was large and functional. Location was amazing being able to walk to most places.

The bathroom didn’t have a working light and the shower had an ant problem, aesthetically it looked dirty from the choice of flooring used in the bathroom in general, but it was functional enough for our stay.

Purtroppo il bagno era stato invaso dalle formiche rendendo il soggiorno poco rilassante e piacevole. Ho segnalato il problema e hanno detto che avrebbero pulito la stanza (cosa che hanno fatto ma non hanno risolto il problema formiche)

Me gustó mucho la ubicación, ya que estaba muy bien situada. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y cuidado, las instalaciones eran cómodas y estaban en muy buen estado. Además, el proceso de entrada fue muy sencillo y práctico. En general, tuve una muy buena experiencia y volvería a alojarme aquí.

Lo único mejorable fue que el check-in fuese a partir de las 15:00, ya que me pareció un poco tarde, especialmente si llegas a la ciudad por la mañana y tienes que esperar varias horas para poder acceder al alojamiento. Por lo demás, todo estuvo perfecto.
