The check-in counter and dining staff should coordinate over who paid for breakfast. Upon arrival, I paid for the breakfast that I added on before my stay. On our last day, the dining staff rudely told us our room didn't have breakfast added to it. I told her I requested it as an add-on and already paid. She checked with the counter who told her there was no record of us paying. I had to get my receipt from our room in the 4th floor. It's hard to get over such inefficiency in a hotel.

These are 2 simple things, nonetheless essential even in a humble abode, that for a hotel room or any guest troom missing these would be disappointing.

You won't hear traffic despite it being next to a highway. -Water pressure is strong despite us being on the 6th floor -In house resto serves yummy food -the entire staff (security, front desk, housekeeping, resri crew) are amazing and super friendly -blackout curtains
-Limited parking space, pillows were kinda flat for my liking -fees for every add ons that's usually given free to other hotels upon request -no tint on the windows -outdated cable TV. No options to connect to Netflix or Youtube

In all my stays at Microtel UP Tech (maybe 5x a yr for the last 5 yrs) I have seen the same breakfast menu (bland and unappetizing for my liking) so I chose to liven up the essential "start of the day" with more palatable choices. By ordering a la carte. I have no complaints. I prefer a great start to my day beginning with a great breakfast.
