Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Personal war sehr zuvorkommend & hat uns beim Gepäck & Co. geholfen. Auch beim Dinner & Frühstück wurde sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben all unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen.
Leider hatten wir ein großes Kakerlaken Problem in unserem Zimmer, deshalb haben wir uns dann generell für die Nacht nicht mehr wohlgefühlt in der Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich & hat uns direkt die Suite angeboten, als wir ihm das Problem gezeigt haben. Im Hinterhof gibt es wohl ein Kakerlaken Nest und deshalb kamen sie bei uns durchs Fenster herein, da dort das Fliegennetz undicht war.
Wir hoffen, dass der Gastgeber das Problem schnell gelöst bekommt.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Rooms are simple but clean and equipped with all necessary toiletries. The Kasbah is in the middle of the village, in a very quiet zone. The owner and the personnel are very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Parking available for free outside the Kasbah on public roads.

Reviewed May 15, 2026If we could give this property more than 10 stars we could. It was so relaxing and homely! The rooms were clean and modern with a fantastic hot shower with great pressure. The bed was comfortable and wifi worked very well! There was a wonderful dining room/ area to relax overlooking the pool. The manager was a kind and welcoming man who made us the best breakfast we have had yet. We would recommend this stay and wish we could have stayed longer

Reviewed May 12, 2026Nkob jsme zvolili jako přestavku na cestě z Mezrouga do Marakéše a nic zvláštního jsme neočekávali. Ukázalo se ale jako velmi dobré řešení. Cesta byla velmi zajímavá (zejména pro ty, které zajímá geologie, pohyby zemských desek atd.).
Riad uprostřed města, google mapy off-line až přede dveře. Krásná stavba, bazén, čisto. Parkování v uzavřené garáži. Fantastický majitel, který nás doslova zaplavil informacemi a nakonec i pozval do svého domu, abychom se podívali ze střechy na město plné kasbachů. Způsob, kterým se vám majitel věnuje, je velkým potěšením.
Nabídl nám dokonce, že nám maželka "něco" uvaří, když nebudeme chtít jíst venku. To jsme ale udělali, téměř za rohem v zastrčené restauraci Timwafa food s vynikající pizzou (dělají i tacos).

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026Zeer vriendelijke gastheer, zijn vrouw kookt heerlijk. Zorg dat je optijd even aangeeft via booking bericht of je kan blijven eten. 3 gangenmenu voor 100 dm. Super lekker ( 2 avonden gegeten, 2 x iets anders en dus zeer lokaal ) gezellig bij het zwembad eten. Kleinschalige accomodatie ( 4 kamers) met prachtige ruime kamers en badkamers. Heel schoon. Zwembad is heerlijk! Ontbijt was erg uitgebreid, ik kreeg zelfs gratis extra pot koffie. Zeer goede prijs/ kwaliteit. Thee bij aankomst! Fijn dorpje.
De gastheer gaf ook nog een rondleiding bij een kasbah van de buren en we mochten bij zijn eigen huis op het dak kijken naar het prachtige uitzicht over de palmen oase en het dorp. Hij vraagt dat standaard aan alle nieuwe gasten. Zo leuk!
Bij het hotel viel niets tegen! Dikke aanrader!
Je moet goed kijken wanneer je er heen rijdt. Je wil met de auto in dit dorp geen verkeerde afslag maken.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026N’Kob was een zeer aangename verrassing. Een dorp bestaande uit 45 authentieke kasbahs maar niet toeristisch. Ideaal om een dag of twee te verblijven. De gastheer van het verblijf was ongelofelijk hulpvaardig en zeer vriendelijk. Voor mijn verjaardag verrasten ze mij met een heerlijk zelfgemaakte taart.

La chambre est impersonnelle: aucune décoration.Pas de lampe de chevet pour ceux qui aiment lire le soir.

Wir waren in wenigen Gehminuten durch die Palmenhaine im Ortszentrum und auf dem Markt.
Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und engagiert.
Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr neu und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt.

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026The family caring for the place is outstanding: from preparing meals and answering questions and keeping up the place to great hospitality, the entire experience was outstanding. We are independent travelers and enjoyed the proximity of grocery stores, to the convenience of on-premises breakfast and dinner, during Ramadan, was greatly appreciated! On the morning of our departure, our host showed us a beautiful view of the date orchard from the terrace of his kasbah.
Waze did not deliver with directions, but we were able to figure things out from the map. Not all lines representing streets, on Waze's maps are, actually, through streets, even when we drove a Kia Picanto. :-)

When we visited it was cold, so we had a gas fire to keep us warm as we ate. The food was very good too, cooked by the host's wife. It deserved a 10 out of 10. Thanks 🙏

Die Zimmer sind modern umgebaut. Sehr ruhig gelegen in Nkob.
Können die Kasbah nur empfehlen!

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026We were with my friends (8 people in total) in Kasbah Ben Hamou, for one night. We stayed in the 4 rooms. Everything was very clean, very neat and tidy. We are extremely impressed with the hosts. Such kind, kind, humble, smiling and responsive people! Great! They were expecting us, welcomed us with smiles and kind words, with traditional Moroccan tea and a treat. They offered us a walk around the town. They took us to their own house where they live, on the terrace, to see the sunset. We are very impressed! We are very grateful for everything!
Our host was very friendly. We had a lovely evening meal cooked by his wife in a warm enclosed area looking onto the pool outside. Breakfast was great too. It was an amazing space, clean and there was a secure place for parking our motorbikes overnight adjacent to our rooms. Great shower and a comfy bed. A quick walk from the main street and to the palmeries. Fantastic place. Thanks we will come again.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Incredibly reasonably priced accommodation tucked in a quiet corner Nkob. We drove with our own car and there is parking right outside the property. A good sized bedroom and a very friendly host.
Nothing but some points to note. The bathroom is completely open in a room with all hard surfaces so if you are like me, you prefer not to share your ablutions and comings and goings with your room mate then it is a bit uncomfortable. Also no where to put out your clothes so that may be helpful to add for future guests.

Piscine un peu froide pour être utilisée.
Le couscous demandé végétarien était un peu léger (comme si on avait juste enlevé la viande, mais au même prix)

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025Hostitel byl fantastický a moc hodný, vyšel nám se vším vstříc. I přes jazykovou bariéru (nemluvil anglicky, pouze arabsky a francouzsky) jsme se vždy pomocí překladače v pohodě domluvili. Vzal nás na prohlídku své kasby, odkud má nádherný výhled na okolní krajinu.
Ubytování bylo nádherné, klidné a pohodlné.
Krásný čistý pokoj a pohodlná postel s nebesy. Je k dispozici i bazén.
Snídaně i večeře na ubytování byla vynikající, lepší citrónový tajine jsme za svůj pobyt v Maroku neměli (vřele doporučuji).
V době pobytu netekla teplá voda, jelikož probíhala rekonstrukce, ale v horké dny to nevadilo.
Nkob je velmi klidné menší městečko, které je pro odpočinek ideální, ale nemusí být atraktivní pro vícedenní pobyt.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Cet établissement est au calme. Nous avons très bien été reçu par Lahcen qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer les visites possibles. Il nous a même fait visiter une kasbah privée. Et mille mercis pour l’excellent repas préparé par son épouse. Le couscous était sublime.
Il faudrait changer la robinetterie de la douche.
Ich kann die Unterkunft nicht bewerten.
Wir hatten sie gebucht, das Geld wurde im Vorhinein abgebucht, die Kasbah war aber wegen Renovierung geschlossen.
Noch hat weder das Kasbah noch Booking das Geld retourniert.
Der Besitzer war allerdings so nett und hat uns geholfen etwas anderes zu finden.

Reviewed May 17, 2025Kasbah Ben Hamou in Nkob is a peaceful, beautiful retreat with everything you could ask for—great privacy, a spacious and comfortable room, and a lovely pool to relax by. The location is perfect, offering quiet and incredible views, yet still close to the village center.
Lahcen, the host, is amazing—so kind, welcoming, and attentive. He truly made our stay special and deserves a big round of applause! The dinner was delicious, freshly made, and very affordable.
If you’re visiting Nkob, don’t miss this place. Highly recommended!

Reviewed May 1, 2025Lahcen was a wonderful host. His Kasbah is clean and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious but don’t miss his sister’s fruit tagine ( the best we’ve ever had). This is also a very welcoming spot for hikers and cyclists and motorcycles. Mario and Chantal Canadians on bicycles.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2025We had an exceptionally restful stay, there are only 2 rooms so it feels like you are enjoying the entire Kasbah and beautiful pool practically by yourself. The rooms are well appointed and blissfully quiet. The couple Lahcen and Aicha that manage the Kasbah are so nice and caring, I arrived sick and they were so conscious of my comfort. Aicha made us a lovely bowl of Berber soup for dinner as I wasn’t able to eat other food. Beautiful Kasbah, Highly Recommended!

The breakfast was delicious.
You can use the kitchen in case you want to cook tajine.
The rooms are clean and well designed.
I felt at home at this kasbah and would gladly come again!

Reviewed Feb 5, 2025This place is amazing! This kasbah has a very sunny courtyard, and the room is very nice and spacious. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very big and has a hot shower.
The courtyard has a privat swimming pool. For us the water was a bit cold due to winter, but in a few months it will be amazing.
It's so quiet here, so perfect to enjoy your rest. The host was very friendly and showed us the view on his rooftop. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place!
