Very basic cooking facilities. Very narrow getting into bed on LHS. Lots of steps up and down to walk into rooms which was cumbersome at times.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2025We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect, only about 10 minutes from the concert we attended, and set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and very private. The place was the perfect size for us, super clean, and equipped with high quality appliances. My partner and I even joked that it would be the perfect place to live if we didn’t have kids and could copy and paste the cottage on to our own property we would, haha! Truly an amazing stay, we absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025Great location and loved waking to the sound of multiple tui serenading us. Peaceful and quiet with lots of native vegetation in the area, home to so many native birds! Easy to get to the property and very handy to shops and train station. Super comfy bed and really well appointed facilities. Especially loved the box of choccies and cute note from the hosts. Questions were answered promptly and information about the area was really helpful.
Not the end of the world but there was no information about whether we had access to firewood for the cute potbelly stove, but I could have equally asked about that when we were there.

Reviewed Feb 7, 2025The property has a great kitchen/lounge area, well equipped, modern, comfortable with better than average TV functionality. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom/utility room had everything we needed and was spacious clean and modern. The location was peaceful.
The bedroom is a little tight but that is a small trade-off given the other, positive, aspects of the accomodation. There is no outdoor area to sit and enjoy, except right outside the front door (which does benefit from evening sunshine).

The location was perfect – central, with easy access to everything we needed. Reviewed Jan 15, 2025Wellington was freezing with a max temp of 9C upon arrival. The pump heater in the accommodation was not powerful enough to heat the lounge, kitchen, dinning area plus a loft. I booked out after 1 night as I am sure my health would have suffered if I had stayed longer.

We let them know we would be arriving late. Was very cold on arrival, would have been lovely if the heat pump was on low to take the chill out of the air.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2024I loved everything and all the things about my 4 night stay @ this beautiful property. It’s clean, the water pressure in the shower is amazing, super comfortable environment with all the mod cons required for an enjoyable stay, the bed and linen are top quality. The location is close to all you need and it’s a beautiful suburb to stay in. Also having a top quality washer & dryer was better than great! The huge comfy lounge that reclines is the best. This is definitely a 10/10 property to stay in and if and when I travel to NZ again this is my first preference. Thank you so much.
