The space was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The host and their team were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Communication was great throughout, and any small issues or questions we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. It made the stay completely stress free. What stood out most was the effort the host team put in to ensure we were comfortable and happy. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend staying here.

She also recommended a lovely restaurant nearby, where we spent the evening. The friendly atmosphere and well-appointed room made this one of our most relaxing stays in South Africa. I’d love to come back when I’m in the area again. Thank you, Beulah and team!

She lost her phone while we were there and we pray that she finds it because lowkey we feel like she is suspecting us. I hope she communicates when she finally finds it. The cleaning ladies don't pay attention to detail, esp in the 2 bedroom flat.

Sie hat uns sehr wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben und schon vorab einen Game Drive organisiert. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick und eigenem Bad. Wir konnten die Küche, den Pool und auch alles andere benutzen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns auch für unsere Weiterreise noch sehr wertvolle Tipps und Anregungen gegeben, die sich jetzt im Nachhinein auch als wertvoll erwiesen haben. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen das war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis.

Appartement ist sehr vollgestellt, nahezu alle Türen und Schubladen klemmen.

Reviewed Nov 25, 2025L'accueil la gentillesse et la réactivité de la propriétaire. L'environnement très calme et sécurisé. Le magnifique jardin et la belle vue sur la mer. Pour tout ça cela mérite un 10.
Les appartements 2 chambres sont meublés très vintage (pas notre goût mais d'autres aimeront sûrement) mais le mobilier n'est pas très qualitatif. Les portes ferment toutes mal. Besoin d'une bonne rénovation. Pas assez d'espace malgré 2 chambres car trop encombré. La cuisine du coup est toute petite et peu pratique. La propriétaire va d'ailleurs faire des changements.

There was not coffee or tea in the bedroom. Which we were not aware off until the morning when we wanted to have a cup of coffee (there was however a kettle and cups). Its not a big deal maybe it must just be mentioned to customers in advance.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Amazing host, the room had a superb view of the coast, room and bathroom were spacious and the decor fit the vibes of the location. The host was so friendly and very available at all times. Chintsa itself is very cute, we recommend the quad tour at Areena Resort.
The curtains could be a bit more dark, the sun shone in from 5AM basically. And it didn’t bother us at all, but as an FYI: the property has a few dogs (all very friendly).

Wenn man kein Hunde Freund ist, muss man hier ein Zimmer nicht direkt im Haupthaus buchen.

Our host was very helpful and friendly and made us feel at home, and couldn’t do enough to help us when we had car trouble. Lovely big bath with a view of the sea too, comfy big couch to watch movies and great outdoor area with braai. Private from the rest of the house. Can’t wait to visit again

Reviewed May 9, 2025My husband and I visited Chintsa as we were attending a wedding at Olivewood. The property was the perfect location for this - with beautiful views to round off the experience. Beulah and her staff were phenomenal and went out their way to make us feel comfortable. The rooms are simple, and have everything you need. If we return, we would happily stay here again!
Our room had a mould issue - it didn’t affect us too badly but if you struggle with asthma I suggest keeping this in mind.

Reviewed Feb 7, 2025The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Moved us to a bigger room since we were gonna stay long. Assisted with a list of activities to do around the town. Very quiet and relaxing place. It served the purpose we were travelling for.
Not the best place for people scared of dogs as she has 3 of them freely moving around the house. Huge cockroaches in the rooms. Our linen did not get changed throughout our stay. No towels in the rooms.
