Ce que nous avons particulièrement aimé dans cet établissement, c’est l’accueil chaleureux d’Éric et Amira qui étaient vraiment aux petits soins avec nous, au point de se sentir immédiatement comme chez soi. Plus important encore et rare à trouver, ils nous ont fait vivre la vie tunisienne à 100 %, que ce soit à travers la découverte de l’île et du sud de la Tunisie, ou grâce à la découverte de la cuisine locale portée par le super petit déjeuner d’Amira. Nous recommandons à 100 % si vous voulez faire de superbes rencontres !😊😊😊

Une maison d'hôtes où l'on se sent, comme à la maison. Un grand merci à Amira et à Éric pour leur accueil, leut gentillesse, et leur professionnalisme. Mention très bien à Amira pour ses succulents petit déjeuner, et à Éric pour m'avoir fait découvrir Djerba et le sud tunisien.

Notre séjour à Dar Rita a été formidable. Tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente bien, de la chambre parfaitement aménagée aux espaces communs, en passant par la piscine. Les hôtes sont adorables, disponibles et attentionnés, et ont vraiment à cœur de vous faire passer de belles vacances en Tunisie. Les petits-déjeuners partagés avec eux sont incroyables, et les visites proposées par Éric valent vraiment le détour ! Un grand merci à Éric et Amira pour leur accueil et pour nous avoir fait passer un si bon moment à Djerba.

到着前のやり取りから親切に対応いただきました。到着後も街の案内ミニツアーをしてくれたり、色々相談にも乗ってくれます。みんなで食べる朝ごはんが素敵でしたが早朝発の日が多く1日しかチャンスがなく残念でした。

お部屋でのwifiが弱かった点と（オシャレですが）電気が少し私には暗すぎました。

Like coming home, Eric en Amira are so welcoming and easy-going. The house is great, rooms comfortable and clean. A fridge full of drinks available to you and an amazing breakfast to share in the morning. Also got to practice my French which was fun 🤩

The breakfast at Dar Rita was perfect! There was different food everyday and it was very tasty. The location was calm and within walking distance from the market. Amira and Eric were very pleasant and always willing to help out with anything you want! I will definitely come back to visit them.Thank you again for your hospitality.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Éric et Amira, qui sont des hôtes très gentilles et toujours prêt à rendre service ! Le logement est impeccable, propre et très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner du matin est très copieux et entièrement fait maison. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons ce logement sans hésiter !

A wonderful welcome to Tunisia! Eric and Amira are a dream team! The most delicious breakfast every morning, comfortable room and a great spot to explore Djerba. Eric will organise outings for you and even accompany you if he has time. If you’re new to the country this is a great spot to start your adventure!

Un'esperienza meravigliosa: la nostra camera era molto spaziosa e pulita. La colazione ricchissima, con molti prodotti tipici, freschi e preparati con cura dalla fantastica Amira. Lo staff è stato super disponibile, accogliente e cordiale, tanto da farci accedere alla struttura prima dell orario previsto e portandoci a visitare luoghi caratteristici della città. In ultimo, la piscina è aperta h.24 pulita e consente di rilassarti in un bagno sotto le stelle. Consiglio vivamente!

Comme chez des amis,ou comme a la maison. Amira et Eric, sont des personnes aux petits soins. Ils anticipent chacuns de nos besoins. Bénéficiant d'un très bon emplacement, non loin du souk et du centre ville,mais dans une rue très calme, j'ai aimé partagé notamment,le petit déjeuner,sous forme de brunch,très varié et différents chaque jour. Le "Dar" est magnifique,trop beau. Eric est de bon conseils,que ça soit,resto,sorti,point d'intérêt,il nous a même conduit lors d'une excursion. Nous avons aussi profité de l'humour Belge 😄Des vacances de rêve ,relaxante et convivial. 1er séjour a Djerba mais sûrement pas le dernier.Merci pour tout et à tres vite avec le reste de la famille ☺️

Potrete gustare un the alla menta bordo piscina o rilassarvi attraverso un sapiente massaggio con sottofondo musicale. Eric vi guiderà nel cuore della medina indicandovi i ristoranti tipici ed Amira vi delizierà con i dolci appena sfornati. Al momento della partenza sarà difficile separarsida tutto questo....

La Super gentilezza ,disponibilità, accoglienza e simpatia dei proprietari. Siamo stati coccolati per tre giorni, la colazione FAVOLOSA abbondante varia e buonissima. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura.

Très joli établissement à la hauteur des attentes, un hâvre de paix près de la médina. Belles chambres confortables qui donnent sur la cour et la petite piscine, bien agréable par fortes chaleurs. Petits déjeuners bien composés, jus et desserts faits maison. Les propriétaires Amira et Eric sont de très bon connaisseurs de la vie à Djerba, ont un regard affûté sur Houmt Souk et peuvent donner les meilleurs conseils, voire vous faire visiter la médina. Ils m'ont proposé une solution de rechange un soir d'Aïd où tout était fermé : les accompagner pour un repas dans un hôtel quatre étoiles de la zone touristique à prix défiant toute concurrence. Une soirée rocambolesque avec karaoké hors d'âge à la clé. Un conseil : mieux vaut cent fois aller à Houmt Souk et à Dar Rita que dans les hôtels mastodontes et impersonnels de la zone touristique...

Attention de bien se faire préciser l'emplacement exact du Dar, situé dans une petite rue sans vraiment de nom, pas loin de la rue du 20 mars, et non dans de celle-ci.

Eric was a great host. The breakfasts made by Amira were fantastic. We were met by Eric at the airport and the following morning he gave us a fantastic tour of the souk. Dar Rita is a lovely little place with a very nice pool in a quiet location but close to the centre of Houmt Souk.

Classic Tunisian house with comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated rooms around the pool. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great and good towels and soap were supplied. We slept great. There were sockets and bedside tables by the bed and a wardrobe. We were able to pull our car into the courtyard behind a locked gate for security, but like most places in Tunisia, I'm not sure we needed to do that. Still it was nice. Breakfasts were varied but always really tasty with a variety of eggs, breads, sweet rolls, fruit, juice, etc. They were always fresh and super tasty. But I have saved the very best for last. Our lovely hostess Amira showed us the way to the medina early evening of our arrival, introduced us to many people at restaurants and shops and made sure we had a great overview of how to get around. The following day, her husband Eric arrived and gave us wonderful suggestions for our ongoing trip, even going so far as to call and make bookings for us. I also suspect he got us a better price. This lovely couple are the very best people. Thank you Amira and Eric for everything.

Die Lage des kleinen charmanten maison d'hôte ist perfekt. Zum Souk und zur Corniche sind es ca. 800 Meter. Ich habe dort 15 wunderbare Tage abseits der Touristenströme verbracht. Sehr besonders wurde der Aufenthalt durch die reizenden Gastgeber Amira und Eric. Die familiäre Atmosphäre dort hat mir sehr gefallen. Es war vom ersten Moment, als wäre man bei Freunden. Eric hat mir unter anderem den Souk gezeigt und beide haben mir Tipps bezüglich der Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben. Es ist dort alles sehr authentisch und das hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück, das Amira zubereitet hat, war wirklich außerordentlich und sehr reichhaltig.. Es gab viel Abwechslung und man merkte, dass alles mit Liebe zubereitet worden war. Ich werde bald wieder zurückkehren!

Tout était juste parfait et exceptionnel. Eric et Amira toujours souriants et disponibles avec de bons conseils pour les visites, les restos Une maison typique de djerba bien aménagée, propre, calme et bien située pour faire le souk et les petits restos à pieds. Les petits déjeuner sont juste incroyablement bon, variés et bien présentés. Si nous pouvions mettre 15 sur 10 nous le ferions sans hesiter.

J'ai choisi cet établissement sur la base des commentaires, et tout était comme décrit : un petit-déjeuner incroyable, très copieux et varié, une chambre propre et confortable, une localisation centrale, des hôtes aux petits soins jusque dans les moindres détails. Bref, un véritable havre de paix dans lequel Éric et Amira vous reçoivent comme de la famille. Leur gentillesse et leur générosité ont fait de mon séjour un moment inoubliable !

We loved everything about our stay in Dar Rita. From Amira's amazing breakfasts to Eric's tours, our hosts did everything possible to make our stay perfect. The rooms are very comfortable and I slept very well. The pool was just perfection. The location is just a short walk to the medina, great for shopping and eating. Eric arranged our trip on the pirate ship, which was so much fun. The (added but very reasonable cost) day trip around the island was a really good way to see all the highlights. We loved the cats and dogs too. Thank you for everything, Eric and Amira xx

Séjour sur mesure avec des hôtes aux petits soins, nous menant aux meilleurs adresses. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Amira et Eric avec qui nous avons partagé des petits déjeuners délicieux, très copieux et fraîchement préparés tous les matins, qui nous ont permis de découvrir des jus et plats locaux. Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité, nous conseillons sans hésiter cette maison d’hôte !

Nos hôtes, Amira et Eric nous ont réservé un accueil exceptionnel. Durant notre séjour de 12 jours, ils étaient aux petits soins pour nous, en particulier lors du petit-déjeuner très copieux, varié et cuisiné chaque jour différemment en vue de nous faire découvrir des spécialités locales délicieuses. En compagnie d'Eric et Amira, ce moment était plus proche d'un brunch très copieux que d'un petit-déjeuner. Ces bons moments passés à table le matin étaient remplis de convivialité, de gentillesse et de générosité grâce à nos deux adorables hôtes. Ils nous ont également fournis de nombreux conseils et assistance pour profiter au mieux des bons plans touristiques et secrets de la ville. La piscine était un vrai bonheur pour se rafraichir et faire des longueurs à quelques mètres de la chambre. La climatisation, la literie et la connexion WIFI étaient parfaites.

Dar Rita è un B&B fuori dal comune, curatissimo in ogni particolare. La stanza era spaziosa e accogliente con un bagno fornito di ottimi asciugamani e di asciuga capelli. La struttura è abbastanza vicina al centro e ha una bella piscina e i proprietari mettono sempre a disposizione degli ospiti bevande gratuite. Abbiamo potuto parcheggiare la nostra macchina all'interno della stuttura, sfuttando il giardino d'ingresso. La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Eric e Amira sono preziose qualità; sempre disponibili e pronti a soddifare ogni nostra richiesta anvhe solo accennata. Eric ci ha atteso fino alle 11 e 30 di sera quando siamo arrivati e ogni giorno si è prodigato in utilissimi cosigli e dritte per scoprire i tesori di Djerba. La parte veramente forte di Dar Rita è la colazione, abbondante, sempre diversa, con buonissimi prodotti locali e ricette tipiche tunisine cucinate direttamente da Amira. A Dar Rita ci siamo sentiti tra amici. È stato insolito e bellissimo fare colazione insieme (colazioni ricche e gustosissime!), incontrare e parlare con gli altri ospiti e raccontarci le nostre diverse esperienze in un miscuglio allegro di lingue. In particolare, Eric e Amira sono stati padroni di casa gentili, attenti e premurosi e con i loro suggerimenti ci hanno permesso di scoprire meraviglie fuori dai percorsi turistici piu battuti. Torneremo sicuramente!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Amira war immer bereit, hat mir gute tips gegeben, hat mir immer geholfen. Hatte ich immer leckeres Frühstück gehabt. Die haben mir am letzte Tag zum Flughafen geholt. Ich kann nur empfählen und ich werde wieder da gehen inshallah <3

L’accueil d’Eric et Amira était chaleureux, instructif, amical, bienveillant, et super agréable. Ils ont été disponibles, à l’écoute pendant tout notre séjour. Nous n’avons pas appréhender l’île de la même façon grâce à eux. Le petit déjeuner équilibré et copieux est partagé avec les hôtes. La chambre est simple mais avec le confort nécessaire. Il n’y a pas de bruit pour passer une bonne nuit. La piscine et la maison sont très belles. Le petit plus: les bébés chats pour nous tenir compagnie :)

Everything was to our satisfaction. Amira, our host was great. The accomodation was perfect and the breakfast was something else. We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

Séjour exceptionnel au dar rita . Amira et Éric sont d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité exceptionnelle. C’est avec un très grand plaisir que je reviendrai séjourner chez eux . Je recommande fortement, je me suis sentie comme chez moi avec ma fille et jamais sentie seule quand j’avais besoin d’un renseignement ou autre .J’ai rarement vu des personnes aussi accueillantes en maison d’hôtes .mille merci à eux pour tout .

We had a wonderful week at Dar Rita. I loved the ambience and architecture of the traditional Tunisian Dar. It was lovely to be in a family home, but with plenty of privacy and personal space. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe and secure the whole time. Eric and Amira are the kindest and most genuine people that you could meet. Both did everything that they could to ensure that we had a great holiday. We were shown many interesting places and the best places to eat, shop, and exchange money. Eric was happy to give us lifts to the beach and to the airport and to facilitate everything we wanted to do. We had two amazing day trips with him - one to southern Tunisia to see where Star Wars was filmed and to visit ancient Berber villages, and the other a tour of the island of Djerba. Eric is intelligent, witty, and good fun. Also a knowledgeable and considerate guide, and a good driver. Breakfasts made by Amira were very tasty - lots of variety of sweet and savoury dishes some of which were familar but also Tunisian dishes we hadn't tried before. Amira cooked us two delicious dinners ensuring that we had the opportunity to try many different local specialities. One evening we had a fabulous dinner at the nearby associated establishment L'Autre Dar. This is a restaurant year-round and has bed and breakfast rooms in high summer, again with lovely ambience and architecture. Thank you very much Eric and Amira.

Everything was great.

I’ve stayed in a lot of properties in a lot of countries, but the hospitality at Dar Rita is among the best I’ve ever experienced. Éric & Amira go to great lengths to ensure their guests feel happy, comfortable and welcome. When I arrived in Djerba, it was the festival of Eid al-Adha, which meant businesses were closed and it was difficult to find places to eat and drink. Éric & Amira very kindly invited myself and other guests to join them at their family restaurant, where we got to try loads of delicious traditional Tunisian food. Éric is also happy to arrange excursions, so on one day myself and my fellow guests (who I am sure will leave their own review) went with Éric to Tataouine, and another day around Djerba. While you’re at Dar Rita, you’ll be welcomed like a member of the family.

Very mixed bag, but ultimately decent product for the price. EXTREMELY kind hostess, whose expert-at-English teenage son was esp. helpful. Location okay (not in Djerbahood) but see notes re: what I didn't like.

There is neither signage or even an address sign, so locating this place was very difficult. Room was spartan and dark, as was bathroom, but both clean and serviceable. Very uncomfortable mattress - they need new ones, at least in the room I stayed in (one of two).

So much to like! The hospitality extended by Amira and Eric was exceptional. It was a pleasure to stay at Dar Rita, one I hope to enjoy again soon. Thank you!

This is truly the most friendly and welcoming place that I have ever stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble for Erica and Amira. We experienced the real Djerba, with fantastic traditional food, shown the best places to shop and guided tours around parts of the island.

That we were only here for 3 nights. We didn't realise it was Ramadan. I read in other reviews that the pool was heated, which it wasn't. But this was not claimed in Dar Rita's facilities.

Eric and Amira, the hosts, will go out of their way to make your stay great. The breakfast was immense and delicious. Amira even made us some tunesian snacks to try and Eric took some time to show us the city and gave us many useful hints and tricks which made out last day of our holiday perfect. We highly recommend this place if you look for a second home far from home and hope to come back someday.
