Tui Lodge Oakura

Large spacious beautifully decorated and well equipped .Friendly but unobtrusive owners

Everything was way more than what we expected. The breakfast was spot on and above what we expected. The setting and decor were superb and was a credit to the hosts. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend the Tui Lodge to anybody looking for a superb place to stay, only don't spend your time looking for bears to come out of the woods. (The hosts will know what I mean).

The only thing we didn't like was we didn't have enough time to really enjoy this place.

Comfortable space that we had to ourselves

Facilities were good and place was very clean. Quiet and remote.

Fan in bathroom very noisy and no isolator when going to the toilet. Too remote and no nearby facilities.

My traveling pal and I had the entire lodge to ourselves. We loved the property. Sadly we did not bring anything to eat and all the vendors were closed before we arrived. Thankfully there was a bag of potatoe chips at the outside bar. That was our meal for the day. Please let guests know how winding and without light the approaching roads are. Jack the cat was sweet. It would be a nightmare parking with more guests. The gated parking is too tight to maneuver in with 3 cars let alone 6. We loved our stay and the commercial kitchen. Next time we'll realize there are limited amenities available at the bay. It's gorgeous there. Thank you to the nice hosts.

Really awesome spot, equipped with everything you need to be comfortable plus Oakura beach is only a couple minutes drive if you fancy a dip. Would highly recommend staying here before doing the hike to Cape Brett as its only a half an hours drive from the start.

Beautiful property, perfect for drying out after an extremely wet day of walking. Very comfy beds 🛌 ☺️

Breakfast was amazingly good.

The cleanliness, the lodge cat called Jack who was very welcoming and friendly. Heaps of space, has everything you need, great communication from the hosts, parking, beautiful space, the quietness and location.

It’s best to stay here with family or a group of friends or people you know. I was aware that we booked a room only and we maybe with others and it was great that we ended up having the lodge to ourselves BUT I think if we did end up sharing with people we didn’t know it would have felt a bit awkward - it wasn’t until we were at the location that this is how we would have felt. Other than that it was amazing

Fantastic outside space - both covered & open. Large single dwelling with 4 bedrooms. We shared with another couple. Fully fitted kitchen with air fryer, cooker & microwave. Great selection of breakfast items. Chilled water on tap.

Very clean and excellent facilities friendly staff friendly cat loved it.
