El hotel queda un poquito retirado de la calle principal y las calles no son pavimentadas pero la vdd es lo que lo hace tranquilo e inmerso en la naturaleza!

No pudimos pagar en cash y hubo un poco de desorganización con el desayuno, pero nada grave.

The property was lovely though and I would stay here again, just I think they may need to find a better power source as they seemed to be the only building without power.

Su calidez, amabilidad y dedicación marcan una gran diferencia. Se toma el tiempo de recibir personalmente a los huéspedes y explicar con detalle los mejores planes, actividades y recomendaciones para disfrutar al máximo de Palomino. El hotel ofrece un ambiente tranquilo, acogedor y perfecto para descansar rodeado de naturaleza. Todo estuvo muy limpio, organizado y cuidado con esmero. Se nota el amor y la pasión que Lina pone en cada detalle del lugar. Sin duda, una de las mejores experiencias de hospedaje que he tenido. Recomiendo Atalaya del Mar a cualquier persona que visite Palomino y quiera vivir una experiencia auténtica, cómoda y memorable. ¡Espero regresar pronto! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100% recomendado.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns bei Ankunft viele Infos zum Ort gegeben und bei der Buchung von Ausflügen und Transfers geholfen. Leckeres Frühstück. Die Anlage und auch das Zimmer waren super schön und sauber.
Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und daher ist es an manchen Tagen relativ warm. Das wussten wir aber im voraus auch!

Le lit et les oreillers n'étaient pas si confortables. ma conjointe et moi avons eu mal au dos et au cou.. C'est la nature, mais il y a énormément de chiens et coqs qui chantent toute la nuit Bouchons nécessaires.. Nous nous étions éloignés du centre pour avoir moins de bruit, mais ce n'est pas si tranquille. Mais c'est comme cela dans beaucoup de villages

Da das Baumhaus nur Fliegengitter und keine Fenster hat, kann es nachts etwas laut sein. Das Bett war leider etwas unbequem.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Wir haben wunderbare drei Tage im Baumhaus verbracht und sind sehr traurig, dass wir nicht länger geblieben sind. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, im Zimmer alles ist durchdacht und man hat oben und unten unheimlich viele Sitz -und Liegemöglichkeiten, wo man herrlich chillen kann. Das war für uns wirklich die Definition eines Urlaubs. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ist ein Gedicht (nach zwei Woche Kolumbien endlich was anderes als Ei und Arepa bekommen). Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Preis-leistungsverhältnis ist top. Die beste Unterkunft in Palomino.
Dass wir nur zwei Nächte geblieben sind.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Das Baumhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen ☺️ es ist total liebevoll gebaut mit einer schönen Terrasse unten und einem Balkon. Es ist komplett abgedichtet mit insektennetzen und über dem Bett ist auch ein ausreichend großes netz. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auf dem Gelände leben auch vier ganz liebe Katzen. Es liegt sehr ruhig und man ist zu Fuß doch schnell bei allen Restaurants und Läden.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026El lugar es muy bonito y tiene una conexión real con la naturaleza. El ambiente es tranquilo y agradable. La habitación es amplia, cómoda y visualmente linda; el baño es grande y el balcón con hamaca es un gran plus para descansar. El Wi-Fi funcionó bien, lo cual es importante porque en varias zonas del pueblo no hay señal. También me gustó que permiten usar la cocina, ofrecen agua potable y hielo, y que el vehículo queda seguro. La ubicación es buena para llegar caminando a la calle principal y el alojamiento cuenta con buena iluminación exterior en la noche.
Aunque indican que hay parqueadero, no es un estacionamiento como tal: se debe ingresar a las instalaciones y parquear en una zona verde, y la entrada no es apta para carros bajos porque se pueden rayar por debajo si se entra y sale varias veces. Uno de los abanicos de la habitación no funcionaba correctamente y casi no refrescaba, lo cual es incómodo debido al calor de la zona. En la noche hay muchos mosquitos (es indispensable llevar repelente) y aunque la cama tiene mosquitero, este reduce bastante la circulación del aire del abanico. La presión del agua en la ducha es muy baja, por lo que bañarse toma más tiempo de lo normal. El espacio para desayunar es pequeño y, aunque la ubicación es buena, todo se hace caminando y de noche la calle es bastante oscura fuera del hotel.

The lady who greeted us was all over the place.. one minute she was telling us to take our bags to the room, the next minute she wanted us to follow her to go through some excursions and then half way through that she decided to call someone. It was all a bit much for us considering we had an early flight but the lady the next day for breakfast was lovely and tranquil.

Muy recomendable para quienes quieran pasar aunque sea solo una noche o también mas días, ya que todos los lugares de interés están a poca distancia a pie! Muy recomendable!!

Reviewed Nov 29, 2025Tranquil tropical garden just off the beaten track. We loved our spacious room and breakfast looking out over the beautiful garden. Delicious pancakes and fruit the first morning and was disappointed they were not available the next day! Very friendly service despite the language barrier. And the service laundry washing (after the Lost City trek) was superb at COP30000. Also let us leave our bags for a few hours after check out. Really enjoyed our chill out stay.
Couldn’t get in the locked gate and had no WiFi to contact them. But at least the place was secure.

Il y a même une terrasse en hauteur pour profiter également dans le hamac et prendre le petit déjeuner sous la cabane qui était excellent. La chambre était propre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli ! Je vous recommande absolument de passer par ce logement pour votre séjour à Palomino.

Il y a même une terrasse en hauteur pour profiter également dans le hamac et prendre le petit déjeuner sous la cabane qui était excellent. La chambre était propre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli ! Je vous recommande absolument de passer par ce logement pour votre séjour à Palomino.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025Die Unterkunft und das Gelände sind wirklich sehr schön und laden zum entspannen ein. Es ist eine schlichte Unterkunft ohne schnick schnack aber hat alles, was man für seinen Urlaub in Palomino benötigt. Jeden Morgen gibt es ein leckeres Frühstück. Man kann zwischen Arepa, Ei und Obst oder Pancakes und Obst wählen. Es ist wirklich ein leckeres Frühstück! Wir sind im Haus, in der oberen Etage untergekommen. Der vorhandene Ventilator ist bei der Hitze in Palomino auf jeden Fall notwendig! Das Bad ist sehr schön und hat eine Regendusche. Zu der Restaurants und den Bars sind es etwa 10Minuten zu Fuß und den Strand erreicht man nach 15Gehminuten. Man kann über die Unterkunft verschiedene Aktivitäten buchen, was sehr angenehm ist. Wir haben das Tubing für 60k gebucht und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Wir könnnen die Unerkunft nur empfehlen!

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025En Atalaya me sentí en casa, ❤️ muy acogida, atendida y consentida. Hospedarme ahí fue la combinación perfecta de descanso, tranquilidad y paseo playero que quería. La casita en el árbol, inigualable ! Totalmente diferente a todo, la atención de Lina excelente desde el primer minuto y los deliciosos desayunos y atención de Luzceli cada mañana sin falta. No voy a olvidar este viaje, quedé más que satisfecha, muy feliz. Ya quiero volver !! ( Extraño ver y consentir los gatitos todos los días ✨)

Desde los tendidos de cama hasta las toallas… olían súper limpio, el baño tenía jabón y crema corporal. Amé a los gatitos!!! Suki, Mochi y Umi😍. El sonido de los pajaritos 🧡💚💛 La opción que elegimos fue arepa de huevo, te (aromática) y fruta, todo súper delicioso! 😋

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Wij hebben in de tuinkamer én in de boomkamer gezeten. De tuinkamer is iets luxer, de boomkamer is spectaculair. Daar zit je met een terras in de boomkruin met uitzicht over de omgeving. De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk en Palomino is een gezellig backpackersdorpje. Verwacht niet teveel van het strand, want dat is grotendeels weggeslagen, maar er is genoeg te beleven. Bijvoorbeeld een rivierafdaling op een band (neem de verste plek, je moet wel een stuk lopen, maar dit is de mooiste rit) of een excursie naar de flamingo’s van Camerones.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2025Sleeping in the treehouse was such a special experience. I honestly enjoyed it so much. I even left the beach early just to relax in the hammock on the balcony and take in the quiet surroundings. The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

The host was exceptional: warm, attentive, and full of excellent local tips that made my many excursions all the more enjoyable. Each morning’s breakfast was unbelievably delicious, with a wonderful variety that set me up perfectly for the day. My room was impressively large, spotlessly clean, and furnished in a unique style—truly a comfortable home away from home. Thank you wholeheartedly for such a fantastic experience. I enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return!
