This hotel is absolutely fantastic, The price ,the decor ,the staff We stayed in room 1 Amazing We had a ensuite,with a bath shower and fireplace in there. The bedroom had a dressing table a TV ,coffee table and 2 chairs and a beautiful mirror The hotel is opposite the cathedral,so beautiful views out of the window This was a very good surprise,with the price as i wasn't expecting to much I will definitely be back .

I am genuinely shocked that Booking.com allows this property to be listed on its platform. The overall experience was absolutely terrible. I had prepaid for a room and, upon arrival, found the property to be in a shocking state. I contacted the person via WhatsApp, who instructed us to go to Room 3, only to find that the room was already occupied. We were then told to go to Room 6, but there was no key available. At this point, we had no choice but to leave the property. The communication throughout the experience was completely unacceptable, and the person I dealt with on WhatsApp was extremely aggressive and abusive, including directing a highly offensive racist slur towards me. (Irish C***) This was an appalling experience from start to finish. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property and I am very disappointed that Booking.com permitted it to be advertised on their platform.

We booked here for a present for our Son's 18th Birthday for a few nights to go to a Liverpool match which is across the road from the Stadium 🤩

On his first night he and his girlfriend were left feeling scared as someone was shouting outside their room and tried to get into their room numerous times 😰! I rang the accommodation and the lady on the phone was very apologetic thankfully the main door was locked for the other 3nights and they enjoyed the rest of their stay. The TV did not work in their room either.

Went with my two children for a three-night stay and booked some interesting places to visit, but only managed to spend a night there because there was loud music and swearing from the next room to the point that my kids were terrified and had to send a message to them to ask if we were safe, but no response. The place was dirty; there was a bag of McDonald's filled with chips in one of the drawers in the room. The carpet leading to the room was ripped open, and tools were left in front of the room. The roof was also leaking. The microwave was rusted inside, and my daughter nearly threw up when I opened it. The images on the website appear to be AI-modified. It was not the same in real life. Communication was terrible, but some of their staff came down to the site trying to rectify some of the issues, yet the whole vicinity was just a shambles. It looks like a shelter.

The location was spot on, but the property was a let-down even with a for-sale notice.

It was dirty, tv wires hanging over the place, cigarette burns on furniture, smelt damp and musty, wifi didn’t work, we left the Accommodation 10 minutes after check in. I am awaiting a response for refund request

This place is exactly what you need for a one night stay after any event at Anfield Stadium. It is clean and santinary, insanely close to the venue and comfy enough. For the price and location, it was perfect. Stayed in room 8 - the triple room on the ground floor - with a view of Anfield Stadium. Using the online check-in process a couple days in advance, I was happy to pay an upcharge for a 1 pm check in and noon check out, giving us the time we needed to get ready for the MCR concert and then have a bit of a lie in afterward. It also meant that the rear parking space was available for me to use, though it didn't look like other lodgers needed it. I did text the owner the day prior to check on how/where parking was since it was an event day and the front area isn't available; they replied quickly with the details I needed. Check in was simple: we got the code for a lock box with our key via message/email. The place is low-frills, with some quirkiness, thinnish walls (we enjoyed hearing the sound check at the stadium and used a white noise app for a good night's sleep after), and minor cosmetic upkeep things; all easily low priority for the location, ease, comfort and price for an Anfield event.

Some black out curtains would make a nice improvment.

The accommodations car park was in use as it was an event day. The alternative was to the rear of the property, where there was rubble due to broken tarmac/concrete, which wasn't visible until I drove over it. It was very tight for space. There was a burger van directly outside the bedroom window, which was noisy due to a generator and customers. The windows had no curtains to block out any light, just some vertical blinds. The large mirror was also broken in the bedroom. We never used the kitchen area, as you had to leave the building and enter through another side door.

Nothing is likeable with this property. What is advertised on the booking.com application and what is on the ground is not anywhere near.

1. The supposed key box doesn't not really work. 2. Finding the room within the building took us 10 minutes plus, going up and down the narrow stairs only to discover that we had to go via the kitchen to access the room. 3. I have slept in old buildings before but this one has a very bad smell. 4. I wouldn't leave any valuables in that room, the locking system was shady 5. The headboard has a broken glass which a artificial flower was put on to try and cover. 6. The bed should be no less than 10 years old same as the blankets and the pillows and bedding. A set of bedding at primark is £12. 7. If you check the interior pictures and the actual place, you would think you entered the wrong building and room. 8. I called and sent messages to the host but noone was helpful at all. I ended locking the room putting the back and found an alternative place to stay. 9. I raised the issue with booking.com and upto now it seems noone wants to listen and is bothered.

Room smelt The bathroom door did not close because the door handles were missing and replace with metal like bolts?? No fan/aircon so very hot at night. Bedding Grubby and sofa covered with a blanket b3cause it was full of cigarette burns and stains. Tv didnt work.

The location was brilliant for a gig at Anfield, on a bus route for easy use of public transport. Fully equipped kitchen and the hosts were amazing!!

Nuestra experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. El sitio no es lo que parece en las fotos. Al llegar a la habitación solo había una toalla, a pesar de que la reserva era para tres personas. Además, no había jabón de manos ni champú, y apenas quedaba papel higiénico. La puerta principal de acceso siempre abierta. La limpieza en general dejaba mucho que desear. Había espejos rotos y las sábanas también estaban rotas, lo que daba una sensación de poco mantenimiento. La cerradura de la habitación no funcionaba correctamente. Avisamos de los problemas y es cierto que trajeron rápidamente más papel higiénico, toallas y gel. Sin embargo, entraron en la habitación sin llamar a la puerta ni avisar, algo que nos pareció una falta de privacidad. La primera noche fue tranquila, pero la segunda fue imposible descansar. Desde la 1:00 hasta las 4:00 de la madrugada hubo gritos constantes, golpes en las puertas y discusiones en los pasillos. Nos sentimos muy inseguros. De hecho, decidimos no pasar allí la última noche y solicitamos el reembolso de esa noche, pero nos lo denegaron. En definitiva, la experiencia no cumplió con las expectativas y no volveríamos a alojarnos aquí.

Perfect location for events. Straight facing Anfield and 10 min from Goodison Park. We attended for the foos - easy check in, great communication, Anfield was 2minutes away, plenty availability for food and drink. There is a communal kitchen with breakfast food (cereals, bread) and various hot drinks available. The hostess offered to wash anything we may need washing which was really kind.

It does need some work doing however, it is fit for purpose and excellent value for money! There was hair in the shower from previous person staying. There is parking however, when there are events, this isnt available as the road is closed which wasn't told to us before booking or when we booked. We found out on the day. There are 2 spaces available at the back of the building but you need to get there early to get one of them.

Do not stay here. The shower did not work, only 1 towel was provided for 3 of us, there was no toilet paper and a smell of sewage. The bedding had specs on them and we believe there were bed bugs as my wife and daughter were bitten in the night. The door handle fell of too so escaping the room in the event of a fire would have been difficult.They had also double-booked the room and is now giving us the run around in trying to secure a refund.

Hard to think of something good to be honest...

Probably everything! Area and cleanliness of the place were shocking. As soon as we arrived prior, even stepping inside wanted to leave and book another place but somehow managed to stay overnight. Stay in all sorts of places in my life, but this was on a different level.

The property condition is bit old and poor, not having comfortable beds, no mirror in toilet, no bed light. Property has shared kitchen but not having much of utensils and appliances are not in good condition.

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. Less than 24 hours before check-in, my reservation was cancelled and I was moved to an alternative location. Only after pushing back through management was I reinstated into the original booking, which already created unnecessary stress at the start of the trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the property did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness or hospitality. The carpets were visibly dirty, the kitchen was in an unhygienic ( the microwave was an eyesore) and unusable state, and there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout both the kitchen and rooms. Some towels were damp and one was dirty, suggesting they had not been properly dried and washed, and the bedsheets did not appear clean. Overall, this experience fell well below expectations. I would not recommend this property, and I strongly advise management to address both their hygiene standards and customer service practices.

We did not stay at this property. Our room key was not available and different room was offered. It was very dirty. All bedsheets, stains on sofa, floors and walls. Shower was not cleaned either. We had to find new place to spend our night. No communication after I requested refund based on us not being able to spend a night there.

Towels were disgustingly dirty, pillow cases smelled like they hadn't been washed. Shower wasn't clean. Lipstick on the smashed mirror. Too hot, heating was full blast. No curtains only blinds, so got woken up at the crack of dawn.

It was disgusting, bins full, feases in toilet,one towel for three people door not secure bugs found in beds and although they sent us a key code to get key it didn’t work and took them one hour to help us to get in and men from upstairs came down and they were high on weed and loud…. A terrible horrible place to stay.

Sorry but I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m gonna have to we payed for a room with a shower but not having a shower that works (when it’s red hot outside) also with sockets hanging off the wall showing bare wires were we could easy of been electrocuted, sockets not working & informing the owner on our first day & nothing being done about it not even offering us at least a part refund for not having a shower that we paid for we wasn’t expecting the ritz but this was a joke 🤬

Die Nähe zum legendären Stadion und dadurch die Verbindung mit dem Omnibus in die Innenstadt, sowie der günstige Preis, wenn kein Spiel des FC Liverpool ansteht.

Sehr laut durch die dünnen Wände und die Tür, die den Raum und das ungereinigte Badezimmer mit einem anderen Raum für andere Gäste verbindet. Auf dem Rand der Toilette und davor waren Urinflecken, das Toilettenpapier war aufgebraucht und es war auch nirgends mehr eine weitere Rolle auf Lager. Die Nachttische und die Fensterbank waren verstaubt, in der Nacht wäre es wegen dem lichtdurchlässigen Vorhang sehr hell gewesen. Wir haben uns letztendlich gegen eine Übernachtung entschieden und sind wieder abgereist.

I booked a room with a double bed and 2 singles, when we arrived we were met with 2 singles and a bunk bed. The toilet was very dirty but generally the rest of the accommodation was okay

Cuando llegamos al hotel, esperábamos coger la llave de nuestra habitación de una caja con contraseña, pero ya estaba abierta y no había llave. En ese momento, llegó una trabajadora del hotel y nos dijo que teníamos que esperar porque aún no estaba limpia. Al rato, nos dieron la llave de otra habitación y, cuando la vimos, estaba en muy mal estado: sábanas con manchas, moscas volando por el techo, las cortinas rotas y también manchadas e incluso un parche anti-acné (pimple sticker) en la mesita de noche. Nos dio mucha inseguridad y no nos sentimos cómodos. No dormimos allí.

The postcode and picture of the site is a different property, so got directed to the actual property, when arrived there was no key in the lockbox, the main door was open so went in, the stairs carpet was filthy, I found my room door was open, hadn't been cleaned, vape on the bed cobwebs everywhere. I left and stayed somewhere else, iv complained to the company asked for a full refund and still after 5 days iv still had no refund, do not book its a shithole

The staff prior to the stay were great. Very helpful, were easy to contact and fast to respond to questions. Other guests were nice and helpful. If we were going to visit Anfield the location couldn’t have been any closer without staying in the stadium itself.

If the room I was expecting was the same as in the advertised picture and was say earth, then the room we were given was on the complete other side of the galaxy. Had to lock the door to be able to shut it. We had 1 hand towel between x4 of us. We had no towels to be able to use the shower. The holes where the pipes come out were filled with expanding foam and felt like unfinished work. You could feel every spring on the mattress, the bedding didn’t fit the duvet size on one of the beds so one of my girls ended up fighting with the sheets in the middle of night. The beds did have clean bedding on though. As I didn’t have data I didn’t get my email telling me what we needed to do upon arrival and there was no one in “reception “ and when calling the number no one answered the phone, panicked a little bit but made sense once I turned it on to message them. Another guest at the same time was having issues too. The address given of the property on booking.com wasn’t complete and the taxi dropped us off at some poor woman’s home, she was lively and helpful but did say it happens all the time.

Annonce trompeuse : pas de personnes pour nous indiquer notre chambre seulement un système de boite à clefs. Nous avons dû aller chercher nous mêmes des serviettes propres dans le seche linge; Quant au petit déjeuner, il faut fouiller dans la cuisine parmi ce qu'il y reste pour se le préparer soi même.

Friendly and helpfull guy (sorry forgot his name) at reception. Noticing my wife was not capable to walk the stairs and offered right away a room on groundfloor. Thats service and much appreciated. Clean and comfortabel beds. 150 meters from Liverpool stadium. We come back.

They do not give an invoice after requests. At night they wash and dry in the room next to me, it is loud and you can't sleep because of it.

Smooth check in. There is always staff to speak to if you need anything. Very hospitable ang accommodating staff 24/7! Rooms are all ensuite and spacious! Better than staying in a hotel! Bonus- I had a bath and a fridge in my room! :D

Happy with everything, just slight downside which is more cutlery sets I guess and new microwave :) Not needing these if you will just be staying to sleep.
