Peak View Resort

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr sehr angenehm, durch die Umgebung und den menschenlosen Strand ist es unfassbar schön zum entspannen. Wir wurden lieb empfangen, von einem Mann der sich durch und durch für unser Wohlbefinden gesorgt. Normalerweise schließt das eigene Hotel-Resort um 18 Uhr, aufgrund einer kleinen Wanderung kamen wir zu spät und dennoch wurde für uns ein äußerst leckeres Abendessen gekocht! Auch um den Rücktransfer wurde sich gekümmert. Besonders anzumerken war das sehr leckere und empfehlende Frühstück! Wir würden auf jeden fall noch einmal kommen.

Das Resort liegt leider sehr abgelegen, was es ohne Roller schwierig macht. Das nächst größer Dorf mit Restaurants ist etwa 5km entfern. Bevor man dieses Resort besucht, sollte das einem bewusst sein. Wer aber Entspannung und Ruhe vor dem Tourismus haben möchte, sowie kein Problem hat im Hotel Resort zu Essen, ist hier gold richtig!

Место очень красивое. Хозяин отеля был отзывчивый на все наши просьбы. Видно что это его дело жизни и он работает с душой. Старается для постояльцев. Единственное на соседней виле вечерами постоянно орало караоке, что мешало спать. Но в целом мы остались довольны

Bardzo ładny pokój, i jak na Filipiny miło spędzało się tam czas. Fajna restauracja i dobre jedzenie, szczególnie ryby. Śniadania ok, do wyboru z listy.

Problemy z toaletą. Pierwszej nocy zgłaszaliśmy problem z vacuum effect, który okazał się problemem globalnym w innych pokojach. Na minus powtarzające się pod pokojem hałasy i awantury dotyczące niedziałającej toalety, głosy odtykania i jakieś śmiechy i kłótnie. Plaża ładna do posiedzenia, poopalania ale kąpiele średnio, bo stromo i duże fale

Essen ist sehr gut. Keine Cocktails oder Ähnliches. Nur Bier und Cola /Rum 😏. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön. Ruhig gelegen, aber der Manager kümmert sich um alles- Transport in jede Richtung gesichert.

Zimmer wurde in der Zwischenzeit nicht gereinigt.

Ho adorato questo posto,insieme alla struttura soprattutto il luogo e le popolazioni che vi abitano vicino,un posto autentico,per niente turistico,vero! La spiaggia diventa la tua casa e la vivi insieme alle persone del posto,ti godi uno dei tramonti più belli della tua vita il tutto accompagnato da uno staff molto alla mano. Il proprietario un vero tipo,simpatico e disponibile.

Punti da migliorare per rendere il soggiorno confortevole e quasi al top! Il mare non è molto balneabile per via delle forti correnti,se ci fosse una piscina sarebbe il massimo e potresti goderti il sole anche senza bagno in mare. Il letto è troppo duro(anche un po' piccolo ),manca l'armadio in camera da letto(c'è un appendi abiti in bagno,il che lo rende scomodo e tra l'altro si inumidiscono col vapore della doccia). Il servizio è terribilmente lento,non è stato proprio un problema ma se avete impegni o escursioni prenotate con un ora di anticipo dal vostro impegno(abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti per due omelette). La pulizia della camera non è prevista.Le cose positive superano di gran lunga le cose negative.

Einsame Lage in einem Fischerdorf direkt am Strand. Ich hatte die Suite als einzig buchbares Zimmer, die war wirklich toll. Das Personal, also die Familie, total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolles Essen!

Am Strand hätte ich mir mehr und etwas gemütlichere Liegestühle gewünscht und vor allem etwas Schatten, also wie Sonnenschirme oder irgendeine Schatten spendende Konstruktion. Wenn es das gegeben hätte, wäre ich noch 2 Nächte länger geblieben.

Отель располагается в деревне. Поэтому, кто ждет от этого места развлечений, магазинов, тусовочный жизни - это не про это. Данное место для релакса спокойствия. Пустынный пляж, без туристов и людей. Только местные детишки, плещутся в волнах, с утра и вечером. В остальное время - пляж ваш. !!!! Обращаю внимание, для туристов, кто путешествует с детьми или плохо плавает: данный пляж не для вас, т.к. он крутой, заход в воду - резкий, через метр от берега - глубоко. Для многих это большие проблемы, но не для меня. Так что, учтите при выборе отеля. Есть альтернатива эту пляжу, но в 30 мин на мотобайке. Пляж Lumambong Beach. Там очень красива, пологий заход в воду, небольшие волны, красивая природа и сам пляж - пустынный. Если вы что-то хотите, то вы можете обратиться в менеджеру или девушки по имени JiJi (например, в меню не было морепродуктов, но они есть в наличии). JiJi может помочь с трансфером в порт Бартон или Порт Принцесс (она водит машину и за разумный прайс, отвезет и привезет, на Mitsubishi пикап).

Как многие писали, интернет. В номере №5 (где мы жили) его совсем не было. Умная колонка и то работала с большими перебоями. Это крайне неудобно, особенно когда надо поработать, надо идти на балкон номера, там что-то ловит, но с частыми провали связи. Если нужен устойчивый сигнал - только зона рецепшена/ресторана, на берегу. Только там нормальная связь с внешним миром. И еще: душ в комнате, хотя и выгляди хорошо, но не практичен, влажно. И еще, нет шкафов для вещей и сушки для вещей. Из-за этого, вещи не сохнут, пахнут влажностью. Суши на балконе с включенным вентилятором на всю ночь! :))))

Unique place, Nice beach right in front of the property, a lot of flowers on site which makes the property even closer to nature. Room was clean. Good breakfast and food from restaurant. Friendly and helpful reception.

Wifi did not work in the room. Village Roosters start their day from 2am.

Lovely room by the entrance. Very clean and tidy inside. Very easy access to beach. Food is very good for hotels in the country, and massive portions! Food is very well presented. Great fruit salads! Bar and restaurant well priced. Fernand, who does most of the guest liaison, is very helpful, friendly, and patient. Great service!

Food does take a long time to prepare but at least you know it's fresh. A juice offering for breakfast would be nice. Shower hose holder broken and so needed to hold it while showering.

Vackert hav och fin strand, inte många på denna strand, lokala barn som leker och fiskare. Fina utsikter om man kör runt på området speciellt uppe på berget peak view. Skönt med solbädd på stranden som inte verkar vara så vanligt.

Inga priser på maträtterna. Tuppar, hundar, katter, karaoke som håller en vaken. Dålig wifi på rummet men bra vid receptionen.

Замечательное тихое место для тех кто не любит то́лпы туристов, замечательный пляж. Ресторан, бар цены не дорогие. Внимательный персонал. Рекомендую для спокойного отдыха.

Bed is too firm, gives us back ache. There was some kind of noises in the walls couldn't get to sleep. Also animals outside was very noisy so 2 out of 3 nights was terrible unfortunately. Location is good if you want beach next door, otherwise not a lot to do around area. And food at their local restaurant average. Overpriced for what we got.

The staff was amazing and the location is beautiful, one of the most valued in my trip around Philippines. Very good local food for a very good price.

issues with the hot water that were solved by staff but I had to ask 2 or 3 times. There was no cleaning room service. Take into account that there aren't commercial areas nor restaurants around the area, you need to travel to Sant Vicente, which is 40 min by tuk-tuk.

If you look for a place where beach is only yours, you found it! Nicely decorated rooms with balcony, lovely restaurant with amazing food for reasonable prices. Thank you for all the hospitality!

The pictures are misleading, looks like the rooms on the beach but only part, rest are over a road , also the room with sea view has just small angle to the sea. This isnt a resort so it also mislead us and the price not worth the value of the place . Twin bed is very small.

If you want to relax and read a book, there are no comfortable chairs. It's quite isolated. We couldn't swim due to heavy waves.

Very nice resort, and the best food we had during our entire trip to the Philippines. This is a very good resort for the price you pay. The only problem we had was that it was quite big waves which made it hard to swim on the beach. The service and the room was very good and I could go back just for the Squid Adobo

Our stay at Peak View Resort was simply perfect – a true paradise on earth! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The manager, in particular, made us feel right at home and seemed to anticipate our every need. Whether it was arranging laundry service, cleaning our muddy motorcycle, or addressing any other request – nothing was too much trouble. The service was truly exceptional! One of the absolute highlights was the resort’s cuisine. Huge compliments to the entire kitchen team! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were not only diverse but also absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat, and you could tell that everything was prepared with love and care. The rooms also exceeded our expectations: clean, beautifully designed, and with an inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. On top of that, the unique beach directly in front of the resort was a dream come true! The crystal-clear water, soft sand, and serene environment completely captivated us. Dining at the restaurant with its breathtaking view of the ocean made every moment unforgettable. Not far from the resort, there is a hill that we visited. From there, you get a stunning panoramic view of the entire beach and the surrounding area. If you're lucky, you might even witness one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen – an absolute must! All in all, we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay at Peak View Resort. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience – we will definitely be back!

When we arrived at the property, the heater was not working, and we immediately informed the reception. They assured us they would replace it. However, it was only the next day—after repeatedly insisting and mentioning that we would file a complaint due to the lack of hot water—that they replaced it with another heater. Unfortunately, the replacement was older than the first and didn’t work either; no hot water flowed from the tap. Upon discovering this, I immediately reported the issue to the reception again and requested that they either fix the heater or change our room. They responded by saying they didn’t have another heater and would need to travel to Puerto Princesa, the capital, to purchase a new one. However, they claimed it was too far, and they wouldn’t be able to resolve the problem during our stay. When I asked to be moved to a room with a functional heater, they said no other rooms were available. I was dissatisfied with their response and informed them that I would mention this in my review. Their attitude changed, and they began behaving inappropriately, even attempting to evict us from the property, despite the fact that we had already prepaid for another night. When we eventually checked out, they had no complaints about us. We paid in full for all our restaurant expenses and left. Throughout our stay, we had no hot water at all. Worse still, a few days later, they filed a claim with Booking.com, accusing us of breaking two heaters and demanding that we pay $200! How could I possibly have broken the heaters? Should I have taken a hammer and smashed them? What could I have done to cause them to stop working? These heaters were already faulty and non-functional; they were extremely old. I’ve never seen such heaters in my life, even though I travel a lot. I believe these heaters might be older than me. Moreover, I can say that the facilities in this hotel do not match the high prices they charge.

Beautifull location in the middle of nowhere

The pictures suggested something very different. Lush garden, backpackbestemming vind, plenty of room to hang out. It was totally different. Small restaurant. A bit worn down. To expensive for a mediocre hotel. Not a place where you want to hang out for days.

This hidden gem is located in a small fishing town. It deserves credit (and guests) to open a hotel there. Rooms are big and nicely decorated and they have there own restaurant. Manager is very helpfull. The local people appreciate the presence of visitors and they turned out to be the most kindley i came across whilst in the Philippines. Don't forget to buy at the local small business owners. The beach stretches over 4km and it makes you feel on a deserted island. This is the place for a relaxing stay.

Infrastructure to the hotel is "under maintenance" but don't let that scare you.

We had a lovely time. The food there is amazing, and of course, you have to try milkshakes. Roads are a bit of a disadvantage, but you can book transportation anywhere you like from there. Also the beach is not crowded.

If you want a relaxing holiday by the sea, you will probably like Peak View Resort. However, the location and roads are limiting and if you want a more adventurous holiday, then in our opinion this will not be the ideal accommodation for you, although staying here for 3-4 days is just right for an adventurer (since there are places worth seeing in the surroundings :))

Gigi and Joel were the perfect hosts, and the rest of the team were warm and welcoming. The comfortable and clean room and its proximity to the beautiful beach was perfect. The meals were delicious. I highly recommend Peak View Resort to those looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

It was a huge area for family bonding, beachfront and karaoke are a plus—plenty of beds for our group. Bato ni Neng Neng is like 20 mins walk.

On our last day, there was a water interruption. The place is a bit far from the actions.

The owner has a super personality and that explains why there are so many exceptional reviews. The beer was cold and there is a super view from the restaurant, but the rooms are across the street.

The rooms are dated with older bathrooms. The bedding was some kind of scratchy mat. There is one for each person. It was not comfortable. The food OK, but not great.

A truly special place, located in an incredibly beautiful beachfront in a quiet and lovely fisherman’s village. To top all that, the service is excellent. Chris is the perfect host and the food is amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

Breakfast and all the food is very delicious!

Literally everything. In one sentence, we think we haven’t had such a good host ever and we travelled quite a big portion of the world. The staff is amazing, extremely friendly, Chris who runs the facility is so helpful. He organized an amazing trip to neigbour islands, we had such a great unforgettable talks. Our wish was also to visit a local elementary school, just to say hello to the kids and he arranged everything. We brought a small gift for them and they were so thankful. This place is a paradice. Last few kilometres of the road could be improved (keep in kind the place is inside a natural area!), but it was absolutely worth to go there!! Recommended to all! You won’t be sorry. Plus also very important topic, food in their restaurant is amazing!! We already plan to come back!

Wonderful attitude of Christopher and staff overall, they were very welcoming. Good chef! - we enjoyed especially dinners. It's just in front of long, almost empty beach. Perfect views. Local kids playing in a beach together with our son. Perfect place for very chilled, relaxed stay, maybe not top destination for other activities.

We loved everything with our stay here! Chris was an amazing host that made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay! The room was amazing, the breakfast and dinner was incredible and the view point on the hill was so beautiful! We can’t recommend this enough, it was amazing! If you are looking for quiet and tranquility there is no better place. It's a family run hotel. Great people. Wonderful beach and sea. Great food at very affordable prices. The bar/restaurant is beachfront

The motto: „Arrive as guest, leave as a family“ was really true! We have been treated very well and felt at home! Thank you Gigi, Joel and Chris. Remote and beautiful location in a village by the beach. Rooms were clean and cosy.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel with no tourists around, then this is the place for you! For us we were missing some beach bar or anything around to “do”. However, this place definitely calms you :) Located directly at the beach, beautiful sunset. Breakfast and dinner is really amazing, try the Adobo! The woman at the restaurant was very helpful, helped us organize our transfer to el Nido. She also helped my boyfriend with some pills as he was sick

Complicated to get there, we got a private van from puerto for 6k which is really expensive. On the way back the neighbors brought us to the highway with their scooters for 300 per person and helped us hop on a shared van to el nido. We waited only 5min and paid 400 per person for shared van to el Nido. If you are coming for el Nido oder puerto, take a Shared Van, leave it at the restaurant Karinderya. Try to arrange beforehand with the hotel owner that the neighbors pick you up there at the highway, you can wait at the restaurant :)

Fantastic service from the friendly owners. Beautiful quiet beachfront location in a lovely rural village. Nice air-conditioned rooms and excellent food. Perfect halfway stop between El Nido and Peurto Princessa. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad we came here. Just a few hundred meters down the beach is a fantastic secret cove - and the beach itself is clean and spectacular. Food was really nice and the rooms are tastefully decorated. It’s a little bit hard to get to (the road condition isn’t great). On the other hand you’re getting a real authentic experience of living in the village and we didn’t see a single other tourist. The best thing about this place is the guy running it, Chris, who is super interesting, and takes perfect care of you. Thanks Chris; you’re awesome. Hope to see you again one day.

the place is peaceful and just perfect for what my boyfriend and I were looking for- a stress free homie vibes vacation. The room is clean and has nice design. the Place is beachfront area, so you'll get free unlimited access to the sea. they also offer Island hopping and a short hiking trip to see the best view of the long beach from the top of the hill. the people there are very accommodating and super kind! 👌 they will treat you as a family and are very considerate of our wishes. the Meals are delicious and fresh, they offer not only Filipino food but Western food as well. Our original plan is to stay in El Nido for our whole 8 days trip but we were thankful we found this place. we find it more relaxing and away from city life. We also manage to go to El Nido for Island Hopping Tour and they helped arranged transportation for us.
