Abu Dabbab Lodge

Che piacevole sorpresa Abu Dabbab Lodge! Un' oasi nel deserto, circondato da palme e verde, dove le parole chiavi sono natura e relax! La struttura è già stata in parte rinnovata e ci è stata data la possibilità di alloggiare in una di queste nuove stanze! La nostra era bellissima, super moderna e pulita con vista sul mare, pur in un contesto naturale (vedi foto)! Gli spazi comuni sono ricchi di piante e fiori, con una bella piscina curata e pulita. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la cucina, con ricambio delle pietanze a tutti i pasti e secondo noi adatta ai gusti e alle esigenze di chiunque! Siamo rimasti colpiti in particolare modo dai dolci a pranzo e a cena che sembravano usciti direttamente da una pasticceria tanto erano buoni e curati nella presentazione! La posizione è a pochi metri a piedi dalla spiaggia di Abu Dabbab il cui accesso è incluso nel pacchetto (così come la consegna di asciugamani da spiaggia giornalieri) ed è una delle spiagge più belle in cui fare snorkeling e in cui l'accesso al mare avviene dalla spiaggia! È possibile rivolgersi anche al diving dell' Abu Dabbab Group per fare escursioni o prendere lezioni! Ci siamo davvero sentiti coccolati dal team di Abu Dabbab, che merita una menzione speciale per la gentilezza, simpatia e cortesia, sempre disponibili ad assecondare le esigenze degli ospiti e a fare del loro meglio per farci stare bene! Grazie di cuore per questa bellissima vacanza! 🩵🐢

Il ripetitore della wifi è potente tuttavia la ricezione - molto buona in spiaggia - è un po' instabile invece nelle stanze e nelle aree vicine, unico aspetto che forse andrebbe un po' migliorato con qualche piccolo accorgimento! Per il resto tutto è stato perfetto!

Las habitaciones eran amplias, bonitas y cómodas. El hecho de que fueran pequeñas cabañas entorno a una piscina nos gustó más que otros resorts ennplan edificios

Posizione ottima per raggiungere la spiaggia in pochi minuti. Cibo buono, un po' più di varietà sarebbe gradita. Spazi comuni e giardino molto curati.

Pulizia delle stanza non sufficiente. Inoltre, manca la cassaforte e sarebbe gradito un bollitore. Piscina un po' trascurata. Struttura con buon potenziale ma avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione.

Все в пределах ожиданий. Едем за дюгонью, остальное не так важно. Но, в целом очень даже. Конечно, отель подустал, надо немного подремонтировать, осовременить, но, и в таком состоянии я бы посетил вновь.

Trois jours magiques et deux nuits parfaites à l'Abu Dabbab Lodge ! 🌴✨ Le camp est un vrai petit havre de paix, hyper bien entretenu, super verdoyant et tout fleuri. La piscine est juste nickel pour se rafraîchir. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe qui a été aux petits soins avec nous, toujours accueillante et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Côté repas, on s'est régalés du début à la fin : c'était délicieux et varié ! Notre chambre était simple, mais ultra propre et parfaitement équipée pour un séjour sans prise de tête. Le gros plus ? La plage aux tortues est à seulement 5 minutes à pied ! Et si vous venez en voiture, aucun stress, on s'y gare très facilement. On repart avec de magnifiques souvenirs ! 🐢🌊

Les matelas des transats piscine n’étaient pas très propres.

Unfortunately the place is not good to recom. Maybe just to stay 1 night on the way to some other place. For sure it should be renovated.

Bon hôtel local de petite taille, paisible, propre et confortable, avec accès très facile à la plage d'Abu Dabbad où vous disposerez de transats et d'un snorkeling particulièrement intéressant. Restaurant agréable et bien géré par le chef, discret mais efficace.

J'ai payé en arrivant avec des billets de 100$ neufs, tout droit sortis de la banque. Le lendemain, le réceptionniste me dit que l'un des billets que je lui avait donné était légèrement déchiré et m'a demandé de le reprendre contre un neuf. Je n'ai pas discuté ne voulant créer un malaise. Le sur-lendemain, il me refait le même coup avec un billet cette fois-ci ponctuellement froissé. J'ai cette fois-ci fermement refusé et il n'a pas insisté une seconde. Je vous laisse interpréter cette péripétie comme vous le voudrez, mais vous êtes prévenus. Quant à moi, je me retrouve avec un billet de 100$ dont personne ne veut.

Nice little lodge not far from the famous Abu Dabbab bay. It is the place to stay if you like snorkeling, diving and excursions to Wadi Gamal. The bungalows are simple, clean and fitted with AC and TV, beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Do not forget mosquito repellent and sun cream!

A special thank you to the director, Mr. Achraf, who took the time to explain the area in detail and encouraged me to explore the diving center. His recommendations made my stay even more enjoyable. The diving experience was absolutely amazing, and the chefs prepared a fantastic variety of delicious food every day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect place to explore the incredible Abu Dabbab Bay Abu Dabbab Lodge is wonderfully located for enjoying one of the most beautiful bays in the Red Sea. The lodge itself is peaceful and comfortable, but its greatest treasure is definitely its location. The beach is only about 300 meters away, making it very easy to access the bay several times a day. Abu Dabbab is truly a paradise for snorkel lovers and marine life enthusiasts. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see many sea turtles, eagle rays, blue-spotted rays, and even whiprays. The underwater world here is simply spectacular. There is also a beautiful coral area on the left side of the bay, perfect for snorkeling and observing colorful marine life. For anyone dreaming of experiencing the magic of the Red Sea, this is an excellent base to explore Abu Dabbab and its incredible biodiversity. De lodge zelf was smerig en vervallen, de douche kwam n klein straaltje water uit en het toilet trok slecht door.

It was a very quiet place, with only a few other lodgers. The staff was attentive to our needs. The bed was comfortable. The blooming flowers all over the property were beautiful.

The lodge is much more weathered and worn than the pictures on the booking website show. There were consistent brief power outages throughout the day and night. Water pressure was inconsistent in the bathroom. The room hadn't been swept thoroughly when we checked in. The food was good, with very little variety.

La struttura in sé la trovo molto carina, verde ben curato, ognuno ha la propria privacy nel proprio bungalow, la piscina era curata.. molto potenziale ma sfruttato male

Cibo pessimo. Nel ristorante hanno una postazione a vista dove continuano a soffriggere aglio e non hanno una cappa di aspirazione. Impossibile respirare. Nelle camere all’inizio non avevano l’acqua calda e la parete del bagno aveva tanta umidità risalita. Dovrebbero curare meglio le camere. Ad ogni modo letto comodo.

Le seul bémol c’est l’isolation phonique qui est insuffisante entre les chambres. Mais c’est vraiment un point de détail par rapport à l’ensemble très positif

To moja trzecia w ciągu roku wizyta w tym miejscu, gdzie in the middle of nowhere mogę odpocząć od zgiełku miasta i popływać z żółwiami, a tym razem udało mi się także spotkać diugonia! Przemiły personel, dobra (głównie arabska) kuchnia, drewniane bungalowy zatopione w zieleni, cisza i spokój. Niewielki basen pod palmami, gdy nad morzem za bardzo wieje. Na plażę można dojść w kilka minut i spędzić wspaniały czas snurkując czy nurkując. To miejsce dobre właśnie dla miłośników natury, którzy nie potrzebują głośnego baru, muzyki nad basenem i aquaparku. Na pewno będę tu wracać! Miejsce ma swój niepowtarzalny klimat w stylu "out of date" i także dlatego je lubię.

Staff disponibile e sempre sorridente. Posizione ottima con accesso diretto alla bellissima spiaggia di Abu Dabbab.la struttura é piccola e poco dispersiva. Non aspettatevi il solito resort immenso con piscine e tanti ristoranti dentro.

Tutto!!! A due passi dalla bellissima spiaggia di Abu Dabbab dove oltre alle immersioni si può fare anche snorkeling sulla barriera corallina. Lo staff e fantastico e il cibo ottimo!!E la seconda volta che ci torno e sicuramente ci ritornerò.

Personnel très accueillant, très aidant. Piscine à deux pas des lodges, parfait. À 5min de la plage à pied, parfait pour aller voir les tortues. Le bar de la plage est super et le personnel adorable, très abordable.

Les lodges sont en pleine naturel dont un peu dans leur jus au niveau de la propreté des douches, un peu de moisissures sur le rideau de douche. Nourriture pas assez variée, surtout le matin.

Byłam w tym miejscu drugi raz w ciągu trzech miesięcy i będę chętnie do niego wracać w przyszłości. Ciche miejsce kilka minut od plaży i zatoki pełnej żółwi, drewniane klimatyczne bungalowy położone w pięknym ogrodzie, cisza, spokój. Dobre jedzenie, znakomity personel, uśmiechnięci i gotowi do każdej pomocy panowie (zwłaszcza na recepcji oraz kelnerzy/bariści i szefowie kuchni). Niewielki basen, nad którym można spędzić czas, gdy nad morzem zbytnio wieje. Ale najważniejsze dla mnie było to, że po całym dniu na plaży i rafach mogłam odpoczywać w ciszy, siedząc przed domkiem i słysząc tylko odgłosy natury.

Poproszę więcej kofty, mniej kurczaka i nutellę do naleśników :)

Good (machine) coffee free of charge for Arabic mates / visitors / "guys hanging around" but for 3 euros if you are staying at Abu Dabbab as paying guest. Or you can have powder coffee free . I really hoped coffee is included in my rate so it was disappointing. When I stayed here I felt like I'm staying at someone's place and " crushing " the family / friends gathering ...it might be OK , but a bit strange feeling . Not super welcoming so to say. Diving centre , taxi etc ...everyone seems to want to overcharge you

I knew the location already from a day trip so there where no surprises

I was so disappointed from the beach, since I have visited this place in the past often only for day trips I thought it might be nice to stay once over night to have more time to spend at the beach. but there is nothing like bevor, it looks like the mass tourism has taken over, all you can see is one beach bed after one, I felt like I have been pressed in to a sardines can I will not come back again and I will not recommend at all

Loved the selection of salads. Loved the fresh fruit plate. Room was clean.

The food was ok but not great. Would prefer fresh juice and access to non-caffinated hot tea. Generators are loud and the rooms aren't very sound proofed to other rooms. Would prefer quiet music or arabic music during meals, not just techno.

Chalets are showing their age a bit

Fabulous location, just a short walk to Abu Dabbab beach where there are incredibly beautiful and vibrant reefs. The lodge is well done with lots of plants and lovely palm doves hanging around. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming and helpful, too. Comfy beds, great air con, and good value for money!

The location was great with not too many tourists. The beach was clean and it was great to have the sun chairs available for free and the bar on the beach was really nice. The food was good, liked the grilled food they offered some evenings. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.

Hotel's beach is full of cafes and shops that force guests to buy with insane prices, I have been abused twice there

The lodge offers good value for money if you want to be close to the beach / sea and don’t want to stay at a big resort. We stayed here primarily because it was located in walking distance to the diving center of our choice Blue Ocean. The staff at the lodge is very friendly, everyone always had a smile on their face to greet us and assist us.

We would have liked a greater variety in the food options. Lunch and dinner were mostly the same each day consisting of rice and chicken. Some more sweet options for breakfast might also be nice. For a week this was fine as an all inclusive option but if food is something very important to you you may want to consider other options for dining e.g. we had some excellent sea food for dinner in Marsa Alam. We would also recommend to bring bug spray since there are lots of mosquitoes due to the trees at the property.

Love the location! It borders with natural protected area. You literally swim with turtles in the bay. Hotel and facilities as described, nice and neat. Friendly employees, clean rooms and working AC. Beach area is very clean, you see it is taken care of, facilities on the beach are good and clean. Enough shadows on the beach, places to lay, liked it. Territory is closed. Bar on the beach works late, enjoyed staying after the sunset with Moon and starts :) Food in the main restaurant is okay, some variety to choose from, but don't expect high-end kitchen.

Be ready for European prices in bars and shops.

the place was terrible food so bad. football on tv to much music tv and music at the same time. smoking people everywhere. far away from the beach. swimming pool was not a pool but a bathtub. really not a nice vibe. many people who work in Abu Dabbab sleep there. it’s there home.

The location is awesome - you can walk to everything at Abu Dabbab bay, staff were very nice, food was tasty, room was great!

Internet frequently cut out, bathroom could be cleaner, soundproofing is extremely bad (which would have been an issue if there had been more people staying)
